HornAfrique That is exactly what I am doing bro... Thanks for the encouragements.. Trust me no one can shut me up..They can say all they want.. I will hold tight onto my believes.. Simple as dat. Spadez: Don't think your criticism crashed me... it hasn't even gotten an inch deeper in my skin, it is still floating on the surface searching for an opening

OG: I agree with you sista walaahi, it is better to stay out of the politics sections, coz no one can make a statement or even voice their views witht being attacked and outbreaking some kind of civil war. So once I say my piece to one person I should be out. India First of all if you like ur country so much u won't name urself after another. Just making u have a taste of your own soup. U twisted my words, and that is not right. Secondly, u called me a liar , and that was uncalled for. When I said, " Somaliland will realize that their efforts are futile" I meant it. That doesn't mean I am against Somaliland, it is just my political take on the whole situation, coz the roads they traveling on are not ones that will lead to independence. Thirdly, one human with a decent heart willnever find joy in the agony of others, I take this as your way of de-humanitizating me. Trust me none can do that to moi. As u claim why don't you read between my line and tell me what u see. It doesn't hurt to ask for clarifications when you don't comprehend one's words before u jump to conclusions.. just a sisterly advice. LST: I guess I better leave here b4 maqaarka leega siibin wax kale oo dhiman ma lahanee! Intellectual debates should be acceptable in the Political sections too We like to participate in politics, but don't shut us out when we say something u don't agree with.

Sorry Ladies I don't know your update in the world News but all international Orgs are leaving Somalia So our this lil project has been cancelled for the time being. Sorry but when the NGOs hit the roads back I shall update you and definitely hook u up. Seems like I am in the sack as well But those that are interested I shall walaahi... recommend u guys when the time comes..I thought the withdrawal thing was specifically in Somaliland since it was the place in which the incident took place, but I guess I was wrong. So pray girls Garab: Adiga hadii singlemothers ka la hubeeyo maxaa rabtaane, ciyaal kala xeran oo cadkooda goosanaayo ayeey korinaayaane.. mise ciyaal maamo oo hooyaan rabaa dhahaayo aad rabtaa in ay ka soo baxaan

HOLD YOUR HORSES "TRIBALISTS"...As u can see.. I am not referring to you guys as Somalilanders, coz then I will be included as well. Let me say this b4 things get over looked... I AM A SOMALILANDER. Having said that, let me come back to the topic... Geedid: Widaayoow, qof ku weydiisay ma leh ur underwear, I couldn't care less. I asked u a question that deserves some kind of an answer, which still stand, WHO RECOGNIZES YOU BESIDES ETHIOPIA . Don't try to change the topic at hand brotha, no one is the enemy here besides those that you call neighbors "Ethiopia". Lander: First of all aboowihiis, insults should be saved for those that do the offense not doubters.. if you are following my drift. I didn't refuse to recognize Somaliland nor am I the enemy. I am just a simple Somalilander who doesn't agree with the separation pact. That is all. And I believe since Somaliland is basing its sovereignty on democracy, the foundation should be freedom of expresion. What Somaliland's business men do for Ethiopia is a shame brought on to Somaliland not praise. So if I was in your shoes I would refrain from exposing such truths. Ethiopia has always been in what I call " Dhabar goynta Somalia ( as a whole regardless of region)... And helping in booming the economy of one's enemy to me is ********* least to say. I guess I will leave my say here.. MMA: Aboowihiis, hadii markasta oo la hadlo afka lees goosanaayo goormaas qofka codkiisa dhiibanaa. Qasab miyaa in hal cod la wada yeesho. Walaahi saan lee u daldalmaa ma aa musaayi, ilaaheey waxaas maskax gooni ii siisay in aan sheegto waxa aan rabo fikradna ka dhiibto waxyaabaha i saameeynaayo inta aan noolahay. Somaliland's decision will have effect on me, so I have the right to voice my thoughts and demand my place. OG: Sista they are just lying to themselves, if you read the news or not.. UN is pulling their orgs out of Somaliland So it is just a matter of time b4 Somaliland realizes that their efforts are futile. Everytime we open our thoughts and express our view on the take, why do you guys bring hostility, and verbal insults if folks don't agree with your theories? Is this the kind of image you want to build Somaliland on?
-
Casey: Who recognizes them besides Ethiopia, who is kissing their backs b/c of the labor they provide to their ppl?
-
Ok my fella Somalilanders, I know you guys have sincere hope that Somaliland will get recognized and its soveriegnty upheld, but let me ask you this all those Somalilanders who travel to the outer world including Riyaale, why do they carry Somali Passport.. the green passport with the blue flag? Why doesn't Somaliland make their own passport like they did with the flag?

I don't agree with the answer bro... I believe Islam allows men and women to talk and date but not to meet in person without the company of a third person. But talking over the net or over the phone is acceptable. As far as keeping the promise made to the mother, walaahi that is to be kept. No empty promises should be made by any Muslim. It is one of the Alamat of a Munafiq! Anyone who disagree bring me a hadith Muakid or a Quranic Ayah!

MAN... what is wrong with you folks? I asked a question... will the generations following us be similar to us or will the roles be switched? ... plzz answer dat.. no lectures on other issues... only X-quisite focused on it... and she is dreaming of Uthopia Consicious: If our perfect Prophet made it acceptable for a woman to take on the lead, why has the society changed that? And if we are as good muslims as u claim then what happened to that practice of the Prophet or the Muslim men take just those practices that superioritize them

DND On top of that, skin-bleaching is so highly advocated within female circles, that even the strongest women fall for it. Sister I don't think so. I am dark skinned and almost all the women I know.. have bleached themselves and have been trying for years now to have me join their club... nothing could ever break me. I just look at myself in the mirror.. and admire what I see. Would I wanna trade that for a trashy skin that makes me handicapped??? NO WAY. If you guys didn't know... once u bleach your skin u can't cook, get exposed to the sun.... enjoy the outdoor during the day light.... now tell me.. what kind of living is dat???

It is ironic how we praise our individuality and distinctiveness of our existence, when in fact laws set by the societies that we live in dictate us. If we examine closely we see that every single urge we get is defined and controlled by a certain rule. And those of us that dare to oppose such laws are left in solitude. Are we really that different or are we just fabricating an unconventional believe in being unique? It is rather peculiar to even accept the mere being of a person with a different outlook in life. For instance, if a woman gathers the guts to ask a man out, she is labeled, as being “desperate” when in reality it’s actually empowerment. God has indeed outlined our roles in our physical makeup but society altered it to a certain point to the satisfaction of the survivor of the fittest. And this kind of makes us wonder how Adam and Eve took up their initial roles? Was Eve always there to satisfy her man’s wishes or was Adam doing the cooking and cleaning? Some of the preachers’ claim that it has always been a woman’s job to serve her man, but there isn’t any tangible evidence to support their claim. So this leaves us with one question, will the generations following us be similar to us or will the roles be switched? Although many of the changes that occurred in the last decade or so lean towards the later of the two but what the future holds in store is unknown. So my friends, before you start to press the keys on your keyboard just take a moment and reflect on all the dramas that have been played around you. And then give us your point of view as to how the future will be in terms of gender roles. And PLZ.... NO GENDER WAR... just intellectual debate

lol replied to miles-militis's topic in General
I don't if any one mentioned this b4.. as I am usually late to do so.. but one thing I noticed is.. why do all the famous Somali girls.. diss our beautiful culture? I know we have our lows like every other culture, but I was going to be sold and I ran, I was circumcized and blah blah. Well, u r not the only one who went through that, and no one can force u to marry as long as u have the good pair of legs to run, but to make it sound so horrifying is exaggeration. I just HATE it walaahi... when I see them ( fabricated prostitues diss US) -
I don't have any girl friends... I guess it is time I fetch me some

X: First of all you need to loosen up seriously sister.. no offense just an observation. Secondly, we all know what feminism is all about and if you read my post right, you would notice that I haven't mentioned anything about feminism.. I was being silly with my brotha QacQac and actually that itself even doesn't deploy feminism as a bad thing. So don't be on the offense with us GIRL... we are all after the same thing.. but in different ways..
