  1. OF Course the situation we find ourselves as muslim @ present is very unusual. I am not a conspirisits and work on what i see for myself. And what is so evidently clearly from reading Newspaper articles, watchin 'special correspondant docummentaries' watchin the news and so forth, is that given the opptunity (not that the west or any anti-islamic group/movement need it) i.e. nigera. They will try anything possible to try and protary the muslim sufferings, be it in palestine or Kashmir or afgansitan as yet another fight against Barbarins, who are uncivilised and lower them them and who pose serious threat to them. Which is obviously absurd given the weakens of so many of the regimes that currently occupy muslim civilans across the world. For it is these ppl who are instigating, propergating and purshing a policy against muslim worldwide on a daily basis I must admit my heart sunk when i heard about the latest episode, not so much because it was a suicide boming but more innocent civilans are killed, have those doing this mission no of the serverity of taken a life, let alone an innocent one? yet again this incident will only serve to further the racisit propoganda that i see on televison on a day to day basis. But what are ppl to do in places like Palestine and Kashmir where (god help them) the day lives are a misery, after all their Humans too and the palestinans certainly have passed the 'breaking point' long time ago i really dont no what i would do if i was in their shoes, having to experience what they do. May allah help all those muslims suffering around the world and destory the Brutul Isreal's and there hypocritc allies in the west inshallah amiin.
  2. well wot can say, its not such a bigg shock to me that we lost. Roma this year are going through a restructuring process and we havent bought any players in for 2 years. But i put my hand up and say well done arsenal. But u still aint going to qaulify that was just one game u still got 5 games left. Besides watchin Ncastle gettng thrased @ home somewhat consolled me Baaynial Juv showed their true class by getting that result away from home, now depo have to do the same away to Man u and Juve. I think Manu and Juv will qalify from that group and Valencia and ..........either Leverkusn or the **** ..NAL FROM the other group
  3. Oh no am not gonna have to deal with another Gooner suppoter now am I  never mind.
  4. Roma seek home comfort Tuesday 26 November 2002 By Tom Kington AS Roma know that a first home win in this season's UEFA Champions League will not come easy against Arsenal FC. Francesco Totti (AS Roma) Mean machines The Giallorossi are the only side in Group B not to have won their domestic title last term, but one thing the Italian side have in common with AFC Ajax, Valencia CF and Arsenal FC - their opponents on Wednesday night in Rome - is a mean defence. Defensive strength Along with Roma, the latter two clubs let in only four goals in the first group stage while Ajax shipped five, making them the toughest teams to break down in the tournament and hinting at some tight contests ahead. "Every game will be crucial in this round but with the determination we are capable of, we can take on anyone," Roma coach Fabio Capello said. "We'll show respect but not fear - that doesn't exist." Respect for Arsenal Capello underlined his respect for the Premiership outfit when he described them as "the strongest team in Europe right now". He added: "They are strong physically and technically and can change the rhythm of their game. Like Real Madrid they play attacking players behind a single striker, but they play more direct football." 'Attacking game' expected His Arsenal counterpart, Arsène Wenger, stuck with the theme of mutual appreciation when he said: "Roma are strong, very creative and well balanced and we expect them to play an attacking game, but it's very important for us to earn points away from home in this round." Totti returns With striker Marco Delvecchio and captain Francesco Totti back from injury, and Cafu likely to play, Capello's lineup will have a more familiar look than the one beaten 3-0 at Parma AC at the weekend - a defeat that left them nine points behind Serie A leaders AC Milan. 'I'm no saviour' Totti said: "Coming back from injury, I am really looking forward to this game, not least because it will be my first Champions League game at home. But while I have a bit more responsibility as captain, I am not returning as the saviour of the team." That said, it was Totti who scored Roma's winner in Madrid in the first group stage - and his absence from their three home games coincided with their failure to win any. Top Gunner Arsenal, beaten at Southampton FC on Saturday, are missing the injured Nwankwo Kanu and Dennis Bergkamp, who did not travel, and Totti singled out Thierry Henry as the main threat. The French international's wonder goal against arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur FC ten days ago contrasts markedly with the misses racked up lately by Roma's stuttering strikers Vincenzo Montella, Antonio Cassano and Gabriel Batistuta - one of whom will likely play alongside Totti and Delvecchio. Batitusta warning Batitusta will need no introduction to Arsenal's players given it was the Argentinian's goals for AC Fiorentina which eliminated the Londoners from this competition three years ago. Wenger said: "He's a great player who can be decisive in decisive matches." Wednesday's match may not be decisive but if Group B proves as close as anticipated, a good start could make all the difference. COM'ON ROOOOMAAA
  5. Hey I admire him full stop, am just glad i got a chance to watch him play yesturday.
  6. Seria made him, and seria teams can easliy contain him as was the case last night, still he did show glimpes of why he, in my opnion is still the best plaey in the world
  7. Hey no need to back bite nomads hi is wot he is, and he has managed to make a gr8 career for himself, imagine the prejudice he must have had to come through from the italians, and no doubt somali's if he ever came across some. He is Half somali regardless of what anybody else says, and a gr8 player @ that. It is quite ironic that the first 'Black' player to play for the full italian team turned out to be somali dont u think?
  8. was i right or was i right. You no with my indepth footballing knowledge i should become a manager.
  9. lol Jamaal that was the best joke i have heard for a while, where do u get such inspired material from.
  10. A'd have to agree with u saxib, R9 A.K.A The can opener went down in my estimation after how he ditched inter after all the did for him through his dark times. Still it is a shame he isnt playing tonight he is in gr8 form and it would have made for an even more explosive match up. I think Milan with home advantage will just seenk it.
  11. ''Try and name one flair player in the molds of a Zidane, Bergkamp,Kanu,Aimar,Figo..etc, who still plays in Italy? And Totti doesn't come close to being a flair player,he's more like a Emerson!Nedved,Nope!Rivaldo,ya right, maybe if he learns to keep his feet on the ground!Rui Costa, Naahh! U can say Del Peiro, but even him does not come close in terms of skill on the ball with the players i mentioned'' Baaniyal i cant belive u just dismissed the best players in the world like that. Totti, Nedved Rivaldo, and My Fav Rui Costa are without exception The best players in their respective postitions in the world. The only ones i cant think off to add to the list staright away that arent playing in seria A are Zidane and Aimar. And who made Zidane??? SERIA A. Bergkamp,Kanu,Aimar,Figo as for ur comparasion they are fair, but not so true the only player that u menttioned there who can compete with The best of SERIA A is aimar Bergkamp perhaps when on form Figo and Kanu i dont think so. Shall i list some more gr8 players Treza-goal of juventus, Nesta, Canavaro, Thuram Nakata Com'on its without doubt the toughest like in the world with the highest concentration of internationals anywhere in europe even the teams Fav for the drop have 3-4 renoned international players
  12. Ameenah, winger, Baaniyal, its true Abdul has a bais towards Seria A. So do I but with good reason it is the best leauge in the world, i mean just check out the league as it stands today (sunday) AC Milan and Juventus Joint top on 25 pionts, Lazio second on 24 Inter On 23 then Bolonga ad Chevio on 21, then 4 teams on 18-16 points. Now thats wot i call a league. In any case your all right in pointing out that an talian team 'Might' not win the C League this Year. However what is a Dead Certainty is that no team from england, and Certainly not Arsenal will win the C league. How will the Limees fair  Man u will probabely do the best out of the three and perhaps reach the Q Finals (as usual). Newcastle with such a Youthful enterprising team might emulate the feats of Leedsw, but i think they will probably just miss out on a Q Final place. And Arsenal well they are very unlucky to be drawn in such a tough group I think Valencia will win the group (however the are missing aimar). Then Probably Roma (Thats my tim)will Take second place...in front of Leverkuson with the gunners finishing last. Mark my predictions nomads i have been known to be a soothsay from time to time LATTER PPL
  13. lulla i dont feel insecure, and the majority of them i try to say hello to and be of helpfull to if possible.
  14. Your right AbdulRaheem but i cant believe u left out Man U? when the play well they are the best tewam to watch in the Premiership. And am just making an honest observation, i dont support any team in england.
  15. Salam Aleikum Abass Well a lot of ppl would say Ronaldo will win wot u think? i no infact am sure he will win. But i agree with you out of the three shortlisted for the title zidane desrve it the most having had the season that he had with real madrid and scoring that wonder goal to secure the only title that has so far eluded him in his career. So i would like to see him win, but i think ronaldo will win after all he was top score in the world cup, produced a match wining perfomance and of course the is a gr8 story behind it all.
  16. same here Abdulraheem i actually sport Roma, but i have been watching Football italia long enough to No just what a true Footballing Gr8 Del peir o is. AM amazed @ the fact that he has never been shortlisted, never mind wining either the european or world player of the year, considering ppl like Figo, alan shearea have made it there.
  17. i agree the Italian teams will no how to deal with zizou and Mr R9, i rember how ineffective he was in the euro 200 final. The struggling for form @ the moment, and Valencia are looking the strongest team @ the moment. But i would still go for either Milan first, Real Madrid second and Valencia third.
  18. "VIEIRA,SALIF DIAO,ROY KEANE,HAMMAN,PETIT" A.R i couldnt agree more Philly Boy without ppl like giigs and Zola Pires or Di canio i dont no how i could push myself to watch the Premier ship on sat.
  19. Could agree with u more Philly_Boy, Redondo was a gr8 player that year, i heard hes making a come back and might be fit again soon lets hope. And Macca well his a gr8 player, but unfortunately these english buffons no only how to play footie one way 'long ball' Cross from the wide positions, basically Park foootball hence thats why the neglet such players as macca. Besides we can still marvel @ Ziziou and co this year in the Champs League.
  20. To be honest i would have to agree with Nasra on this one Ameenah although most of us do over-generalise the vast maijority of our peeps seem to get themselves in trouble
  21. i'll only add to VALENCIA wich i really believe are strong team. Me too. But any team that has Zidane in it alos has a chance so R Madrid are also in my list
  22. ''BERGKAMP,VIEIRA,ROBBIE KEANE all failed to make it in the SERIE A but look at where they are they are stars of the premier league today so i know it's sad but it's also true so no doubt italian maqaar is simply the BEST.'' @ last we have some more nomads making sense. do u think Zola wuld be top of the scoring chart's in italy even if his that good @ 35 !!! i dotn think so.
  23. Hey i certainly dont have thousands of £'s and in any event their are many other commitments i first have to meet ebfore even being in a position where i would be able to think about such a thing
  24. My god that many Cnadidates, well u got to givem them credit for having so many. Just a shame that they act in only their on interests and certainly against the interests of muslim need i mention Palestine.
