  1. Salam Calayakum Thx for the article Brother Yacquub it was a very interesting look at the current social climate of britan. The writer was painfully honest in his look at the many problems that afflict this society nowdays, and his honest approach and questioning shows a certain fear (perhaps anxiety) at what could be a reality in deacades to come. Allah knows best, but i for one would certainly not be supprised if we so Islam become the biggest, practised Religon in th uk in years to come, indeed i think we are currently second behind Christianity and its main different Denominations. I posted a similar article which was based in America. I think this scenario is occuring in most western countres that have sizable Muslim Communities, and the society is crumbling because teh neglect of values morality and displine.
  2. i guess for me i havent had such expirence, but i Know that Black magic exists, even our Prohpet Muhamed (SAW) aknowledged this, but warned us not to beilve in it, or practise it. So for me i think i will remain in a state of ignorance on this one
  3. This is a series that am looking forward to parts 2 3 4 nth

  8. trust me bro i used to see chambers when he was 19 and knowing him then and now  you could tell that he must have been on something becaus in the space of 2 years he was a different person physically. The physical change, and he's stature now cannot have been achieved in any other way than through drug abuse. If you take his claim at face value (i.e. he didint now that he was taking the designer drug)then it is a shame that he hasnt realised it himself, but i just dont buy it.
  9. President George W Bush has deplored the "freedom deficit" in the Middle East and said the United States must remain focused on the region "for decades". I think that first paragraph says it all, if the Muslim dont revolt out there in middle east then they will only have themselves to blame in years to come. But some governments in the region were "beginning to see the need for change", he said, citing Morocco, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Yemen Just look at some of the countries he praises, they all, although being relatively peacefull, are exacty the kind of countries that could continue on there currnet trend of Westerniaztion. I think the educated, proffessional, and Lay people of these arabian gulf regions must press for change now, and try to prempt america's, with an alternative Islamic system of governance that is more accountable and free from corruption and Puppetry regimes. This can be acheived peacefully of tha am sure. There needs to be a strong counter argument of an Academic nature made to The Neo-cons Vision for a 'New world order', which is not far now from being successfully implanted in the region.

  14. Gheddafi fails drug test Wednesday 5 November, 2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Al-Saadi Gheddafi has become the third Serie A player in a month to fail a drugs test, but Perugia blame a German doctor. The son of the Libyan leader Colonel Gheddafi, who is yet to play a single game for the Grifoni, was randomly tested following the 0-0 draw with Reggina on Oct 5. According to reports the sample provided had higher than expected levels of noradrosterone. “Gheddafi takes medication for a bad back,” insisted Perugia President Luciano Gaucci, “and this is why the sample came back positive.” The Libyan has only been called up to three official games for his new club, but always remained on the bench. “The player has been struggling with this back problem for months and periodically goes to Germany for treatment,” continued Gaucci. “This news is really no surprise to us, as it is no secret that some medication contains banned substances. Gheddafi deserves respect for sitting on the bench during that game despite knowing he wasn’t 100 per cent fit.” Perugia’s signing of the controversial figure raised eyebrows during the summer, but he is yet to make his official debut. “Gheddafi is without blame and the club is also completely innocent,” added the patron. “We were ready to help his back problems with our medical staff, but he preferred to undergo treatment with his own doctors.” “It is after all his own health that is at stake, and therefore we couldn’t ban him from going abroad.” The creative midfielder now risks a ban of between four and sixteen months and will be suspended as a precautionary measure while awaiting the counter-analysis. This is the latest setback after Inter’s Mohamed Kallon and Manuele Blasi of Parma failed random drug tests, all for the presence of nandrolone.
  15. Congrats to the team the almost went all the way. The future looks bright from a footballing point of view, i must have come across perhaps the next bigg thing for the somali community, perhaps those living in cardiff no better. In the under 16 victory sheild Match Between England and Wales i saw a somali youngstar score a great goal from the half way line for wales, and the commentator started that he was due soon to sign for MAN U's presigious acadameny
  16. Faraax at least have the nerve to say my name, dont worry too much about what i'll say. You more than wlcm to have a digg at me, but you havent given a good reason as to why 'somalilanders' shouldnt hold to account the mad rantings of Edna. lol i dont by that Bull which yourself and Angel-dust/Sami girl try to pass of that you, and 'somalilanders' are somehow different just because u dont haile from the south. Question. Is it enough that she is a minister in the government to make everything she says Scarosant? where is the sense in that? , is there something intrinsicly different about a 'somalilander' to a somali who doesnt haile from that part of the former republic? I think not. So really what is needed is critical accounting of ppl of power such as her self, not some blind faith, that is niether healthy for somali's as a people, or infact the inhabitants of the north. It is extremly Dissapointing to see her comments are being defended and accepted as nothing wrong, or perhaps i shouldnt be supprised it indeed might indicate the level to which the poltical propaganda of some somali politions and groups has been successfull. I for one am quite indifferent when it comes to somalis & poltics in essense, because having observed our somali ppl at close quarters its more than fair to say that when it comes to this issue they are far from being mature, teh spposed leaders from the north as well as the unelected warlords of the south, have got no sense of vision or appetite for scarifce.
  17. Thx Silent sis, i think i need to pop down my nearst Pharmacy and ask for 4Head, coz mine has been killing me.
  18. lol so you have capitulated completed, well at least you have ceseased trying to up hold, as being normal, your other online nick. Otherwise ur more than wlcm to say what u like
  19. Ever since the disastrous peacekeeping mission of the early 1990s, the outside world has mostly left Somalia to its own devices . Islamic groups from the Middle East have rushed into the vacuum. Islamic charities have built schools, mosques and hospitals, and many Somalis have abandoned traditional garments for Arabic-style dress. I think that last paragraph sayed all  , indeed why should the writer of the article note (as relevent to the article) that somali's have abandonded 'Traditional garments' for arabic style dress.
  20. well interesting to say the very list, up until now i thought that the consese was hat Music is Haram full stop, with the exception of some Islamic songs I wonder what other knowledgable nomads think? Muraad, Nur...
  21. lol i must admit i wasnt supprised that the Somaliland forum users reacted with disgust to what that thing wrote on there, any sane Somali, actually any muslim person would have done so, prasing Americans for killing other somali's? disgusting. As for Angel-dust i guess u quite good at advancing and retreating i have made my point and i have said my piece, clearly u cant repost the evidence i presented lol so i shall leave u to continue to retreat further gracefully into the abyiss. Alternatively continue to blow the trumpets of such fruit cakes as Sami_Girl (by the way i still would wager that your one and the same person)and i will be there to expose such falsh and ludicris assertions. lol About whe are above such feeble sentiments lol
  22. George W. Bush The White House, USA EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE LAW ENFORCEMENT: I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available. MILITARY: I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam. COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University. I was a cheerleader. PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our right-wing friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was elected Governor of Texas. ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR: I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money. I set the record for the most executions by any Governor in American history. With the help of my brother, the Governor of Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes. ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT: I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week. I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury. I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history. I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market. I am the first president in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record. I set the the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one year period. After taking-off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S.history. I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. In my State Of The Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq, then blamed the lies on our British friends. I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. president. In my first year in office over 2-million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month. I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period. I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any president in U.S. history. I set the record for least amount of press conferences than any president since the advent of television. I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed. I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history. I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in war time. I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people) shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind. I've broken more international treaties than any president in U.S. history. I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her. I am the first president in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, themajority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government . I am the first president in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission. I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. I refused to allow inspectors access to U.S. prisoners of war" detainees) and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I am the first president in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election). I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations. My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. history. My political party used the Enron private jets and corporate ttorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision. I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution. More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate ripoffs in history. I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history. I am first president in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security. I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein to justice.
