    My sis Rahima said it all..

     

    We need to establish stable Muslim and somali families..If you as a parent can't discuss with your children about all this happenings and how you were born in ISLAM(which is a bonus),then you will sway..your children will sway..and alsotheir children..that is a generation lost..you are then a LOSER..Who else..only you..

     

    Next is the battle of sexes..we need to teach our children about the roles of modern somali families in relation to Islam..your children boys/girls must get education..must speak your language..must prosper..must be active in society..Men/women must be within limits of ISLAM..

     

    Sabr in ISLAM is paramount..If you are married and live far from your spouse, have sabr until God grants his permission.If you are a lady or a man who needs to get married..have sabr..and Allah will give you something good..

     

    If you do anything contrary in ISLAM..then it is only you who is a loser..and nobody else..if you don't pray..you will be the one to answer..

    If you don't put on Hijaab..u have a question to answer..if you drink or do adultery..you will

     

    The prophet s.a.w said.."Kulukum raacin wakulum mas'uulun can raciyatihii" meaning everyone of you is a herder(like a guard)..and everyone of you will be answerable to what he was guarding..

     

    A man will be answerable to his family..The woman will be answerable when the man ain't there..a master to a servant..an employer to an employee..

     

    And who said...you will never be answerable..may be even tomorrow smile.gif

    I thought this was the real idea behind immigration to unknown countries and cultures..in the name of Humanitarian mission sponsored 75% by the World church council...

    They pray to a man..whom they claim is their IMAAM..they beg him and make him like a living God..christians wanted something like this to happen..

     

    There were no Shias during Holy prophet mohamed's Time..if they were there..why would they not appear and the prophet would give them an answer or direction.

     

    It appears there was a political equation that has not been solved.The shias wanted someone from Ahlu-bait or what they call 'their man'to succeed the Holy Prophet..When all senior sahabas and other muslims met after the prophet's death(Allahu rahma)..they voted the prophet's trusted and best freind..and That is when Shia started spreading with discontent..

     

    They are now realizing and coming back to the Real ISLAM..go to IRAN and see them..most of them(the ones who moved out of SHIASM.. shifted to Arab countries fearing persecution coz they realized their fault.

    I am among the ones who gonna say that..please try to separate your daily spiritual and material life.It was GOD allah s.w. who instructed muslims not only Women to cover themselves..not because of discrimination but a HIJAAB which acts as a shield..a protection..

    I think What the last anon said about Unemployment/Culture clash and sorts are not what brings in Divorce...This are all material life.But what brings divorce is all about fearing ALLAH..If your partner is unemployed or has no proper work, You should sabar..If your partner is sick you should sabar until he gets fine or a solution is found..and so on and so forth..

     

    I have never heard someone divorced his partner

    because s/he couldn't pray or got Imaan Laan..

    yet Somali men fail to understand that.
    The result is an extremely high divorce rate. Marital break-ups are also often the result of there being no mechanism in this countries similar to the one in Somalia of mediation in the event of marital conflicts. Conflicts which might lead to divorce are often solved in Somalia, therefore saving the marriage. Another factor is lack of knowledge of This countries law. For example, a Somali woman may call the police after getting angry with her husband, but doesn't neccesarily mean to have an intention to list him for charges. She may just want to teach him a lesson. She doesn't anticipate that the police would adopt harsh measures against her husband..and this is disastrous to her life in marriage.

     

     

    My point of contention is that...Can we do something to solve this problems and try adjust to life and go back to ISLAM ..This divorce issue makes me SICK ...It's just pity for parties concerned.

     

    And Allah hates DIVORCE....
