I don't know why Many bachelors are avoiding Somali sisters..Should there be a reason to worry..?

Women are being faced with two bad choices: not to marry at all, or marry a guy who delivers pizzas." In a more general sense, he argues that a culture filled with ill-educated, drifting men does not add up to a pretty picture for anyone, including women. Mortenson cites a conversation he had with the president of an historically black college where the female/male ratio had reached the startling figure of five to one. Read the whole article . These numbers in the article are in the United States. Any idea what the ratio is in the expatriate Somali communities? What about in Somalia? A father to two girls (with hopes of being a grandfather someday), this is very disturbing indeed. I wonder what it will be like in 20-25 years.
  5. Lost Generation..we need to do something...
  6. This is also a fine topic worth discussion..Let it go for mroe discussion.
  7. ^^^This is also another superb article.Let us concentrate to build an information gathering of things that concern us most..

  9. Asalam aleykum, To follow your conscience is what one wishes to do in life, be it or not.Preference is also another part of life. Most Somali ladies marry Somali men coz of Family connections, Honesty, trust relationship, culture, religion, background, freindship and more so Somalinimo. What you don't find with other cultures is Lack of Honesty and privacy, dishonesty(although a small margin is there in somali communities), and mismatch in culture. An example is that many of the white communities had generations of Christianity which collates other forms of cultures attached to it.They call it freedom.Their men will go in length to 'court' another lady or groove with another lady right there as you are watching..when you ask about it, they will claim 'she is my freind', they have a supposed freedom and unless you are courting for a legal case, stay far.He may have several 'freinds' and still be with you. He may even treat you like a freind. Their families are mostly christian, so you will never associate with them freely. They may at times call you for a family party, where whisky and drinks are normal. They may spray whisky on you assuming you don't have any problems with it.when you object, they will go in great length to say you messed their parties and toe xplain that whisky has not been mentioned in Islam..so on and so forth. That is their culture. When they accompany you for a small journey..they can make your daily Islamic routines just Nasty. Ok, I don't refuse some caucs are Muslims Down heart and would try to isolate their families, but Family is family...No matter how you isolate his family..You will always feel uncomfortable.I have talked to some somali ladies about this and they agreed. Likewise many Somali men would love to marry white Blondes and brunnettes simply by watching lots of interesting 'porno' online'.Still thinking You get what you see..They may be sweet and attractive but not sweeter than the Normal Xaliimo..who are more Honest and more relaible. The 'Blondes' are generally not Honest..They can get one kid with you and you start Legal tussles.I got to chat with a simple blonde from Germany sometime ago and told me a great story. This people don't have religion even will not accept Christianity itself. They will go a great length to just 'enjoy life'..This lady whenever she goes for her assignment, she tells me she has a man there..She has been in Brazil ,Japan, Africa and Arabia and was telling me about her brazil Boyfreind.I wondered what kind of a man would marry such a lady..But that is their culture..They call it freedom..which Our Religion doesn't accept. Wasalam. have a nice day, won't you

You can tell Sijuu guys easily by the way they dress. Trouser + Trainers = styles. as far am concerned, Genes of all Somalis from Djibouti to Garissa down In Kenya are same.Ladies are also same. But one thing.. Talk about Quality and not quantity.Sijui ladies are a crop of their own. The way we treat them ladies is in contrast with the way you treat them down there in Burco and Xamar.Sijui ladies are gentler and understanding unlike the 'Swindlers' as is with the attires,..am sure you wouldn't argue if I add the pairs with Nike Shoes. anyways It is better Than Macawiis you adore in the City Centres and at the airports

LOL! Then I would like to take this opportunity to let it be known that Somali-Americans are better looking, smarter, have better geno-codes, and better tempered then their sijui Somali-Kenyan brethern who are in turn more beautiful, smarter, confident, and have better geno-codes then their nomadic Somali brethern in Somali Republic. [/QB]^^^Dude, you were almost to the point but missed just one point. It was supposed to be a sub-zero meeting point for all sijui folks..Nevertheless, let Sijuis Rock Your Boat..am sure they do.. Worse still(Facts) Sijuis were infact the people who managed to get Somalis from burden(am certain some did for money, others for God's sake)but many walahi tried to assist the refugees from Somalia.Infact some of the people were affiliated to our own clans in Kenya and Tanzania. We would assist lots of somalis with papers, travel & logistics, material(I know of one somali Refugee who upto now can't locate)who I assisted with a place to sleep and eat for a period of one year and imagine, free without any clan affiliation..Imagine, That is how sijuis were and are..Flash!!! We used to call many refugees.. wajuajis ..pretend they know much than us, can teach us,..when in real sense, one can't even read and write..How many do I know we were assisting for translation at the Embassies to get a Visa to travel to Australia, UK and Canada..This same fellows think smart coz now they are abroad and Speak English, Thanks to the World Church Council..But By finishing their crooked deals in kenya and doing corruption..like feeling Smart..??????? In a more civilized world, Corruption is Highly regarded as backward while this wajuajis think it is ok with them and something to be proud of. Many later realized that Refugees were stranded coz of Money and corruption which was started by their refugee brothers from Somalia.Approximately 10% managed to get out and live fine while the rest 90% were caught in bad scenarios..coz of their Ujuajis ..Smartness they call.Fair, is that being Smart anyways. No wonder we call them Wajuajis.. This same people Think they are smart now than the Sijui(Some Somali americans may also be Sijuis from Kenya).. one thing to note however is that Sijuis never change But amn't sure the brethrens from Somalia may have Gene-codes more or less Jam-americans.. or Do I say?
  18. ^^The aim of the thread wasn't to rant as you said...It was to give Non-sijuis the chance to ask any question they deem important to ask.You have an option to shut your mind and just see.. To look like them physically doesn't mean we are them.We have values, and lots of differences. You may never compare us with 'them'.There are many issues that I raised at the start of the thread and many have debated for or against them. We are not like them and I have no worries to make.So let it stay like that. But it was 'empty'to just say.. Include that fact as a footnote next time you compare such stats Y'cieri; You are correct.Data is collected from an educated mass that already knows how to keep records of such stuff,Being the illitrates that we are; we probably dont have any records. In all fairness, I dont think you need a CIA data fact to tell you the appalling state of the education system back home(Wow,Did i just say that?).As i said to Castro;15yrs of chaos has its toll. I'd agree, but I'd add that we're 50 years ahead of Kenya in freedom - that intangible aspect of life, but so essential for the mind, body and soul of a Republic. Why do you think they refer to Nairobi as "Little London"? Kenya is, in reality, the poster boy for neo-colonialism You are just being blindly patriotic...Lol. But i guess opinions vary. Actually you know i think it is fair to ask you to bring "Facts" about that statement. I am actually curious too Much has been said and swallowed.Still I stand by my accurate statistics..By the way do u think I can't make my own statistics..Is Mathematics anyway...But One point to note was that: Y'cieri; You are correct.Data is collected from an educated mass that already knows how to keep records of such stuff, Being the illitrates that we are; we probably dont have any records. reffering to who..Obviously The Walendos...

  24. PREFACE Sijuinimo waa Soomali.. So much has been said about The 'Sijuis' that some of us have come to be totally associated with 'Sijuinimo'and Somalia ..to an extent that our everyday's life is now being classified as .. Sijui or Sijui-not.Many people will welcome you on hearing that you are a sijui and others will refrain..Someone even scribbled about being a SUJUI/SUJUILIZED on his chest and am sure many tatoos will follow..it is going down the heart of some. This is great..Others are giving Sijuinimo a host of other unique words.Factors to consider someone a sijui normally includes Education, Respect,Sense,Nationalism and Modernity..I raised this topic for the sole objective of defining..re-defining the Word 'Sijui'so that our 'other' Somalis whom we share SOL together have atleast the correct picture of who we are. Now let me take the opportunity to discuss the issues that are associated or come up when you utter "..Waryaa 'Sijui". 1. EDUCATION: You will find Sijui people are more learned than their 'other' brothers and sisters from greater Somalia. They tend to Grasp/concentrate and study more. 2. ENGLISH: Most sijuis will probably speak fluent English and have good comprehension of any typical English word unlike the 'others'..U will find a sijui speaking to someone in English and Somali meshed up. 3. RESPECT/EMOTIONS: Sijuis are well respected people like the 'others' and will maintain RESPECT until u betray them.In that case they will just keep quite and pretend that 'Nothing' happened. 4.ROMANTIC/BEAUTIFUL: You will find most of them 'Handsome and Romantic. I don't need to describe the Sijui Sisters..Sijui ladies are TOP of Their class.. ..Find out why? 5.NATIONALISM: Sijui people are more nationalists than their 'peers' from Somalia.A sijui will debate a lot to make sure u understand he is not from Somalia..But that is a fact. 6.MODERNITY: Although many Sijuis behave more or less like the 'Others'..They are smart in any of their Dealing with the 'outer' world. They will prove more modern than their peers from across te Border. The president of Somalia will certainly argue with a Macalin Duksi while a 'simple sijui' will take him for a cup of Coffee. I am a sijui..Please ask me anything about The acronym..SIJUINIMO..
  25. No.2. They know it's not the length of the vector that counts, but how you apply the force Sure.. are u talking about System Engineers mise Roads and Bridge Engineers Actually, The word ..Engineer..has come from the word 'Engine'.. No wonder they like talking about Engines or Do I say?
