nwsomalia.org Show me live feeds, outside of the triangle! Look at nwsomalia.org and you will see that they have video's and pics from the three cities, but nothing on SOOL or SANAAG. Again I am not saying these places never had voting booths, but both you and I know Qudac that the "THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS" you saying showed up in Sool and Sanaag, never did!!!! The media coverage focuses on one area, so dont exaggerate.
-
Because i'm asking for a pic? Hargeysa had tons of pics with long lines, but nowhere else! Well enough with that, I said this enough times. I will say though that if Riyaale does not win again, I'll give your enclave full credit, if they can exchange power peacefully. I highly doubt he will lose, he will win another time. As the dominant tribe knows what will happen with Boorama.
-
Libaahe*, They show pics from the tribal triangle but then they want us to take their word on area's outside of it. You dont think the international community is aware that turnout was high only in a certain place and the rest is a fraud? Ok.
-
I just said, BBC, VOA are all going by what your authorties tell them, and are most likely only in the triangle, where I admit voting is high.' I also, believe that their were elections held throughout your territory, but that the numbers were very low and in some cases non-existent. That is why we see very clear video's and pics from the triangle, but the rest are very blurry and poor quality. Or they will just show a small group, compared to a pretty big city like Erigavo. I believe your side purposely made it this way, to show the pics of the triangle but to neglect the other area's. The same reason why Riyaale never campaigned in Lascaanod and other contested area's.
-
Yeah, the old "Universal tv showed it." Xaaji likes that one! But when I go on their site, or watched it, I Never saw it. I understand the pictures in Hareysa, but why not any of the THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS,that voted in Sool and Sanaag as you allege? So you dont go to polling stations throughout the region? Come on!
-
So where are pictures of these locations?? Why is there only extensive coverage of the triangle?? Where we can we see the massive lines of these 200 locations in Sool? You know a picture says a thousand words? Are we suppose to believe what the radio stations are saying? Because we know they are getting their info from pro-NW Somalia outlets. Come on, if you can show the dozens of pics of long line ups in Hargeysa, then show us them in Sool and Sanaag.

The video you just showed, did not even show one long line up. You think we will be fooled by it? A camera angle showing a guard standing at a door and a few people, or a crowd of people walking in the market area. Did you watch the video? So this vido show's people voting in the thousands right? This has always been my point, there are dozens and dozens of pics from Buroa, Bebera, and Hargeysa, with tons of video's. But anywhere else, there are a lack of evidence, and cheap video's like. THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS...please just give it a rest

Thanks, The AL, is different then what he said about "Arabs", which I thought he was referrfing to the people. Plus, I still dont think they are at the level of terrorists and anarchists. They might have their motivations though. I personally think they couldn't give two hoots about Somalia or any of it's regions, as they donate more aid to universities in the states, rather then starving people. But thanks for clarifying your position on the AL!
-
Thanks! That's all I wanted to know, I didnt expect JB to be able to explain anything. I agree that their are many in the Arab League and even the African Union who are strongly against any breaking up of nations, as they fear the precedent it may create. I just didn't think Arabs should be in the same list as Anarchists and Terrorists. Maybe he should have been more specific and said Arab League!
-
That's why I thought from JB, reckless writings and rants with no ability to to articulate when asked a question.
-
Ok, why did you include Arab's in your list? The rest of the list included "terrorists, haters, tribalists, anarchists,???" Are Arabs at the same level as the criminals you mentioned in the list?
-

What does Arab's have to do with this? Because they wont recognize you, just like every other country in the world, including Ethiopia?

Just asking Qudhac of any L.A pics of people voting. It's funny how there are many very clear pics from the triangle, but none of the rest of the places, and if there are, they are poor quality and very few.

Inside Story Somaliland Vs Somalia Aljazeera video
Thankful replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Prof Abdi I. Samatar, stole the show! He is a man that comes from the region, differs in the course that the government is pushing the people and for that he is banned from coming back. The fact that he comes from there, makes him so credible! -

Anyways, it looks like I won the friendly bet with JB, because Riyaale is no where to be seen! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YrLPq6WRfo&feature=player_embedded dawasho wacan What does this have to do with the title of this thread? Where is the video of the Vice-President visiting, the video that should be accompaning these pics? This video does not show him, maybe you sent the wrong link. Or maybe I am missing him in the room? It is in the realm of possibility that he visited LA, but these pics and this video you just showed haven't proven it. The thing is this...there was extensive coverage of campaigning throughout the Burao, Hargeysa, Bebera triangle and very little else where. The large crowds seem to only come out among the dominant family! Again, this video even makes me even more suspicious! -

Oodweyne, look at the pics of large crowds in the Burao, Berbera, Hargeysa triangle, with video's and audio of speeches. Then look at these supposed pics of Lascaanood. It's quite shady! Also, notice the other pics are from a higher vantage point, while these pics are from ground level. It's just interesting their was extensive coverage of the triangle and there are none in LA. -
Originally posted by Oodweyne: ^^You are still missing the argument by mile ; but, I guess, that should be expected from you, indeed. Since, if you know anything about Sanaag in general or even in Erigavo in particularly, then, you would of at least known that the situation of Erigavo has been this way ever since 1991 ; regardless of whoever was the president of Somaliland, indeed... It's a common tactic of yours to accuse the other person of having no clue of what they are talking about. I've notice you use it quite a few times. Regardless, I will say this one last time. I agree that Erigavo has been pro NW Somalia admin since 1991! However, if Puntland names Reer Sanaag as president, this may change that. Especially if NW Somalia continues to marginalize that side. Some of Sanaag is already divided in their allegiances and may turn even more in favor of the Puntland Government if it continues to represent them more! But of course you believe that since things have been a certain way, they are incapable of changing.
-
I agree, that is the situation now, however I believe when someone eventual becomes president things will change. We will see! I agree that right now Riyaale can come and the go and the people there support him. You are right no one from Sanaag has been president, nor do I believe ever ran. (You can correct me if I am wrong). However if this does not change, then people will eventually become fed up and demand change, and will not welcome the NW Somali President just like Lascaanod does not.
-
Oodweyne, it's baby steps. When someone from Sanaag eventually become President of Puntland, then Erigavo will slowly realize which government gives them more oppurtunity to lead. Your's is dominated by one group!

Reuters: Refugees in Somaliland angry at status change
Thankful replied to Chief_Aaqil's topic in Politics
The announcement by the government of Somalia's self-declared republic of Somaliland Self-declared .....so maybe i'll go back home and buy some land and self-declare it a republic! Back to the topic, there are far more people from Somalia living in Addis, then there are Ethiopians living in Somalia. So if NW Somalia's admin in Hargeysa wants to give the ethiopians living there a hard time, Ethiopia might just send back our people! Maybe they should all go to NW Somalia.
