The Jews still curse hitler to this day, and rightfully so. Begin to wonder why his being disrespected first. Yeah but the Jews went after anyone that was responsible even if they were fellow jews. Unlike your enclave that has numerous officials and ex-presidents who were part of the regime you claim committed war crimes. So you want to curse Abdullahi Yusuf, but you dont want to say anything about a single person from your enclave that worked for a regime you claimed committed crimes?? Show some respect for Abdullahi Yusuf, you obviously show it for any one from your enclave!

Come on, do really care about criminals when you have the biggest drug business in East Africa, 571 Allah Amin?
-
JB you should contract the pirates to protect your side of our coast from the ONLF!
-
JB might want to invest in some pirates, because they would have done a better job stopping 300 armed fighters from travelliing by sea to his enclave! His so-called navy needs to limit the khat breaks!

This guy is coming out with a book called the Pirates of Puntland. I heard about it years ago, so I am not sure why it hasn't come out. (Or maybe it already has). We will see what he says! Jay Bahadur is working on a book The Pirates of Puntland, with news agency Garowe Online (garoweonline.com). E-mail: piratesofpuntland@gmail.com

Wow, people who have leaders that were part of the SNM which has been singled out by many western organizations for committing war crimes, which included among many other things, hiding among civilians as shields - are now calling others war criminals? I've mentioned Riyaale countless times, working for a service in the same area that crimes took place. But let me guess we will forget about the SNM and Riyaale right? We are going to actually name these guys as our leaders! Give it a rest! The man is elderly and Allah (swt), will only judge his actions! Like all of us!

Comment all you want on the sick and elderly!
-
Well that's not what you said. In fact here it is! Dhiigii dadkii uu laayay ayaa haya. You used it to take a shot at him.....if that's the kind if person you are, to speak of the sick or elderly...then fine.
-
You can call anyone whatever you want. I am just pointing out to Libaahe that insulting an elderly man a is very disrespectful, he posted this for no other reason but to make fun of his condition and taking a shot at him by commenting about the make believe blood he spilled. It would be similar to me insulting Egal when he was sick! Completely unacceptable!
-
I agree this topic is disgusting and should never have been posted! Taking advantage of another elderly person to insult them. You don't call Riyaale former NSS station chief torturer, so no need to call AY Warlord.

Originally posted by Xaji_Xunjuf: Let me break it down for you Ethiopia didn't invade Somaliland , Ethiopia and somaliland the two countries have an agreement Nice way to try and explain why your governmetn allows Ethiopians into your enclave to fight different groups or arrest people. The only reason the Ethiopians don't stay is because the threat has gone away, unlike the south which lasted 2 years. I can bring you many sources, that are not even Somali that say Ethiopians entered you enclave and that local residents were furious. You need to stop denying things! allvoices It is reported that more than one thousand (1000) Ethiopia soldiers have entered awdal region of Somaliland for the last two days in response to the news of ONLF rebels in the region. The soldiers have come to search the mountains where more than 300 rebels are reported to be hiding. This is the first time that Ethiopian troops entered the western part of Somaliland and is a significant embarrassment for the government lead by Silanyo. The fact that between 300-700 OLF fighters came to Somaliland territory and have crossed to Ethiopia as reported by the local news websites is the first sign of the drastic decline in Somaliland security since Kulmiye took the leadership of the country. NWSomalia.si At least seven people were killed when Ethiopian soldiers clashed with residents of the northern Somali town of Buhoodle on the border of the northern regions of Puntland and Somaliland, residents said on Friday. Somalis in south central regions say Ethiopian troops routinely venture across the border and clash with Islamists controlling their towns. This is the first time soldiers from the neighbouring country are fighting militia in the semi-autonomous and breakaway regions in the north. “The Ethiopians have been on our side in Buhoodle for seven days. I don’t know how the fighting began but I have seen 11 wounded people being taken to hospital,” Mohamed Elmi, an elderly man in the town, told Reuters.

Xaji, I will say it one more time. Right now Ethiopians enter your enclave, your people in Boorama had to free prisoners that your government was about to turn over( I provided a link from a pro-government site). Has your government made an offical protest? If the Ethiopians raped and burned things down, then why are you not upset when they are used in your enclave? Whether it is for 2 years or 1 day, both governments remain silent when they enter Somalia, whether Awdal or the South! My one and only point is that it is like the pot calling the kettle black. Don't use the Ethiopians as an example when your government allows them to enter!

Originally posted by Xaji_Xunjuf: Yeah yeah Thankful Ethiopia invaded somaliland and occupied it for two years and they destroyed our capital plundered looted killed raped and burned down our holy mosques , this all happened according to you don't compare apples with oranges my friend ,Ethiopia invaded somalia and Abdilahi yusuf said it's oke just destroy Mogadisho raise your Ethiopian flag if you like slap me if you want gen gabre i could care less that was your Abdilahi yusuf what are you going to teach your grand kids Ethiopia was fighting on our behalf and was taking revenge on our traditional enemies . You are accusing Ethiopia of all these things? So why is your government working with them so much? Why do they consider them to be closer then people from the South.....give it a rest! Ethiopia has entered your enclave whenever they choose and your government says nothing about it. Buhoodle, Awdal are examples from this year alone! So if they have committed so many war crimes in the south why aren't you pissed your government is allowing them to come to your land! Give it a rest.....we didnot call Egal anything and you and Libaahe should not say anything about Abdullahi Yusuf because he elderly.
-
Xaji, Don't minimize it please! Your government accuses the SSC of being a terrorist organization so they got attacked in Buhoodle. The Ethiopians entered your land and the link I sent you is proof! They even plead with Ethiopians to respect it. Not to mention the riots that people started in Boorama when your government was going to hand over to men to the Ethiopians before they were even given a chance to speak to a judge in your court system. The local people had to free the men before it happened. If you are going to attack someone then do it, but don't use incidents that your government is being accused of as well.....Ethiopia has entered Somalia soil numerous times.
-
Xaaji, Everything you mentioned your enclave has been accused of, that is why what you are saying is to hypocritical. Look at this article from one of your websites that is pro-Silanyo it even talks about Ethiopian military entering Awdal and Salal, not to mention when they entered Buhoodle....now I ask you did your government ever protest this to the Ethiopians???: NWSomalia.org the reported entry of Ethiopian military personnel in Awdal and Salal regions, Your last president was part of the NSS working in the same area warcrimes took place. So don't try and judge anyone. Ethiopians are entering your land all the time to fight!
-
You call former President Abdullahi Yusuf a warlord but you don't call Riyaale a former NSS officer. Show some respect, no one said anything about Egal when he was elderly!

Will Somalia President Sharif’s PM choice antagonize Puntland?
Thankful replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
Originally posted by Captain_Mike20: looooooool, Somaliland: Yemen To Open Diplomatic Office in Somaliland Reports close to the Somaliland government You are not telling the whole truth, even though it was placed in the UN site, it using informatoin that "close to the NW Somalia government," Now what you need to do is show us something from Yemen that verfies this, since they are the ones allegedly opening up the office! But Sources from your government are not reliable. -
Absolutely, Yemen has had a policy for the last 20 years of automatic asylum for Somalis. Do you have any clue how many of our people have found a safe haven because of this and weren't deported back during our darkest days? (Yes I know conditions are not always good and there has been incidents of abuses), but it is better than where they came from and leads to other countries! Even NW Somalis went there when the SMN hid among civilians and Siad bomb Hargeysa (both constituting war crimes), so don't laugh at other refugees when people from your enclave were once finding Shelter in Yemen. Also, considering the fact they are classified as an under develop country who is facing significant internal crisis, I feel we need to commend them. This article talks about how they are looking to end the policy, which I can't really argue with since they can only accept so many. IRIN It is very wise of the Puntland government to keep this ally close and continue visits.
-
Yemen has been one of the most loyal friends to Somalia, with its policy with refugees and especially considering the internal struggles they face. I even had a personal experience with them, where our connecting flight with Djibouti airlines never arrived in Yemen and we were stranded at the airport. They showed us incredible hospitality, offering free drinks and food. When I compare it to the poor treatment we receive in Djibouti countless times it was astonishing.

Ok Xaaji, continue to seek recognition through them!

I have no clue why people are so focused on the U.S who have continuously shut out this discussion. Why haven't the secessionists focused on convincing the AU to grant them independence? Asking the U.S is a waste of time! Because the US government can influence the AU puppets. SL will continue knocking that door every chance. Do you now get the clue? I hope you keep knocking on their door for the next 100 years, you have been for close to 2 decades and what has it gotten you from them? The AU puppets will never be influenced on this issue because it would have far reaching implications for their respected nations - nations which co-exist among people of different religions, languages, ethnicities and cultures. The U.S tells you to take up the issue with the A.U because they know the AU will never allow such secession to occur.

Originally posted by Libaahe*: Indeed Faroole has always been a anti SSC since he came into power & his so determined in stopping their advances. Well you said this and I am saying that if he is trying to stop their advances I am sure they would do somethign about it. The policy Faroole seems to have is that the SSC issue is an internal one, that needs to be addressed by the local community. He is basically staying out of it, from what I observe. So I have no idea where you are coming from when you say he is trying to stop their advances or he is anti-SSC. It is your government that calls them terrorists and called on Ethiopians to aid you.
