Where is our secessionists friends? It's strange that they have avoided this thread. I've seen them posting on other threads today. Also, I am certain all have visited this thread and watched the iconic video's. It's beyond interesting how the same people who reside from the Hargeysa - Burco - Berbera triangle are the ones that post the most negative news coming from Puntland and the TFG. However, are now the ones that are avoiding this thread or are unable to contribute anything meaningful? Guys dont hide, I know you may be in shock right and can't muster up any words. I guess you have all come to the decision that it is best to stay quiet and hope the news dies down. Last week Erigavo, now Borama, what's next?

STOIC, Somaliland youths are doing balance and check on their governments reaction to national issue. The issue here is not the protests, because these kinds of acts occur all over the world. Even the most democratic countries are subjected to this from time to time. This issue here is the Awdal State flag being waved. Indeed, the Important part here is to remember the title of this thread "Awdal State flag waved". Because, unlike other democratic places the youths here are promoting open defiance against your enclave. They are waving the same flag that Somalia's unionists all over the world have been waving. Simply put, by bringing out this flag they are not protesting "their government" as you say, but in fact are openly rejecting it and it's flag and calling for seperation.

Let's be clear, for years all these annoucements - whether from Kenya, Malaysia, Egypt or anywhere else - are never being announced by any other country it's always the same source, some NW Somali site or the Hargeysa admin. Where are the articles from these nations that will corroborate this news? Stop speaking for them.

Like it was said before, the ridiculous excuses that are used whenever a occurrence like this happens in NW Somalia needs to stop. Because, unfortunately you are not immune to the rest of the problems facing Somalia. The truth will come out! Edna Aden use to walk around with one with stamps she claimed was from the EU and other countries. Nonetheless, what it comes down to is that when some secessionists on here are shown photo's of the health minister from their enclave representing Somalia at a UN Summit, they claim it is photohopped. However, this photo is expect to be 100% authentic!
