Xaaji Xunjuf;719800 wrote: They are Still your Kin they were your brothers before The pirate state was established remember, or do you love your Criminal project more then your Blood Brothers? Anyone that supports Atam is not my kin! Simple as that, he is an individual that claims to support Al Shabaab, he is a person that has had his assets frozen and the UN has accused. The people of Sanaag do not support Atam, they are not rallying for him or protesting when he is attacked. They are my kin! Criminals or there supports are not my kin. Criminal project It's interesting because when U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Jendayi Frazer visited Hargeysa's airport and General Morgan's old villa this is the security she needed, which is similar to Iraq and Afghanistan during war. Also this is just the airport and she left several hours later. However when a much higher U.S politician - Senator Mark Kirk visited Bosasso, he went to the port and livestock quarantine and other places. This is the security he needed. So tell me after all the piracy and kidnapping propaganda from secessionists, who is a criminal project in the West's eyes?

Sheikh atam Forces advance further in to bari region and Somaliland police chief arrives in dhahar Oh these secessionists and inferiority complex websites are so obvious! By this title it is basically telling us that NW Somalia is working with Atam. Of course they'll deny it as always, but it's interesting that they claim that both groups are moving in the same area at the same time.

Somaliland:18 May preperation celebrations in Seylac Selel+VIDEO.
Thankful replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
I don't think the video is fake, I am just saying that for the most part it does not take place in the city. You and the website (that is pro-secessionism) is implying that it does! Look, people will come out and celebrate on May 18th. Who doesn't want to have a good time? I remember when I was in Somalia in 2006, some were celebrating Italy's victory in the World Cup. But, in comparasion to the whole city, it was only a small amount of people who did. It's like St. Patricks day in the west, so many people come out and enjoy it! The second video is outside of Borama and the people celebrating are but a tiny number. -

Xaaji Xunjuf;719567 wrote: I don't know what you are talking about but the video is about Seylac and borama Fair enough, however this is Borama ok! Do not start staying that video's of people and cars in the middle of nowhere with no building is Borama. As if the women cheering represent the entire city, when we can't even see one building. -

As usual the screaming crowds with flags are found in the Burco-Hargeysa-Bebera triangle! -
Interesting thread, well throughout our history from pre-colonial or cold world era's Somalia has been viewed above all else as a very strategically important nation. I think for this simple fact it will always be important to the west and other countries. I think the West and the rest of the world have a view that Somalia can’t be broken up into nations that are no more then clan enclaves. This is why no country in the world accepts secessionism, and the U.S adopted the dual track policy with Puntland and NW Somalia under the Federal Government of Somalia. With that being said, I think the international community wanted to just forget about Somalia, but unfortunately the chaos that is in some places can not be ignored. Piracy has shown many that something needs to be done. But yes our strategic location and long coastline is our greatest asset.

Amazing pictures, this is truly inspirational. Bosasso is without a doubt one of the most important cities in Somalia. Pre-civil war the two Major cities were and still are Mogadishu and Hargeysa, however if you look how much Bosasso has grown from what it was in the past, it's definitely a success story. Excellent news!!!!

EXCLUSIVE THREAD: 18th of May, The 20th Anniversary of Somaliland

I feel the Somali unity when the secessionists promote an exclusive thread for their enclave on SOMALIAonline. -
Xaaji Xunjuf;719303 wrote: No No atam said he is a Muslim sheikh and he wants to get rid of the PIS and wants to rule his region in freedom. He never claimed to be one with Al shabaab other than the fake tapes released on that paltalk programme not a reliable source . Now it's not a secret atam is against the Pirate state but that does not make him a terrorist. It's difficult to even reason with someone when their best argument is close their eyes and deny, no matter how much logic you throw at them, they will just deny everything. So Atam wants to rule his region in freedom? That's a pretty honorable cause, tell me can you provide us with even a single picture of this man? If he is not - as you say - a terrorist, then why is he hiding? Only criminals hide their identity, people who commit unlawful acts!! But please show us this man who is fighting for freedom. So Paltalk is not reliable? It's the why many Al Shabaab leaders have used to get their messages across. The fact it was on Paltalk makes it clear his connection with Al Shabaab. Also, if it is not a reliable source, then why can't you make us a tape of Faroole, or someone else saying damaging stuff like Atam did? Terrorists all over the world use the internet and websites to get their messages across. Sometimes they use tape cassette or hand letters. Look, I am not going to try to convince a secessionist with logic, but one thing is for certain the U.S has frozen Atam's assets and the UN has suspected him of being a terrorist for many years (of course a court needs to decide if he is) and this is why Atam is hiding! Atam is not the brave SSC leadership, who can travel back and forth to the U.S and hold meetings with international media! Above all else, remember this important fact! Whether you want to admit Atam is a terrorist or not....Faroole is engaged in a fight with a man that both the U.N and U.S have accused of being a terrorist and have taken action against!
-
Lol, so the U.S has frozed his assests, the UN has accussed Atom as well. But someone how the secessionists so-called opposition leader doesn't think he is a terrorists? Atam has refered to the U.S as "Shahada la Dirir" or against the Shahada, he has said that he and Al Shabaab are one in the same....yet secessionists are defending him?? And the Secessionists Hargeysa admin wonder why they can't find even a single country in the world to recognize them.

Qaranki;718806 wrote: Are you saying what has taken place is good for Faroole because now the west will rush to help him, due to the fact that he is fighting muslims? That seems like a loaded question!! I never once said anything is good for him or bad. I am saying that his site Garoweonline immediately posted this conflict on their site; they rarely do it with other Puntland news. I am saying that there have been major issues throughout the state lately, and now Atam has taken up all the news. Plus, I suspect that now Faroole is more then likely going to blame the random killings in Gaalkaayo and Bosasso on Atam. I believe that Faroole feels that the West and others who came to rush and help the TFG when the ICU was attacking, will also come to his aid. So all I am saying is that I (believe), Faroole see’s Atam as something he can use to his benefit.

Since October last year when Puntland forces siezed Galgala, Atam’s milia were re-grouping in Beer village of Sanag region under the protection of Somaliland administration, Puntland security minister told RBC Radio. Salaax why did you change this article?? Because of this part?
-
“ The Islamic forces captured the town with many weapons and at the moment we are closely watching the town,” Atam told local media today by phone telling that he is in Galgala. I don't think Faroole could ask for anything more!

This is the first article Salaax postd, but then he changed it. SOMALIA: Mahamed Said Atam claims victory over Puntland forces By: Malyun Ali Atam's militia siezed Galgala, mountanious district in Bari region BOSASSO (RBC) The leader of Islamist rebel group in Somalia’s semi-autonomous state of Puntland Sheikh Mahamed Said Atam claimed his militia men still manage much of the mountainous district of Galgala where they seized in heavy gun battle on Wednesday night. “The Islamic forces captured the town with many weapons and at the moment we are closely watching the town,” Atam told local media today by phone telling that he is in Galgala. He blamed the forces of Puntland state rejected to vacate the town which he said they occupied from the native residents and that was why they ambushed on Wednesday causing heavy loss of life. “Only two of my men died as we killed more of PIS soldiers. Their bodies still lay on the ground here,” he continued. Atam, An arms-smuggler on both U.S. and U.N. security watch-lists vowed that he will not halt the fighting against what he described PIS (Puntland Intelligence Service) for their offensive against the Galgala people. Puntland security minister told on Wednesday that the security forces resisted the pro-Al shabab militias ambushed the Galgala district which is only 40 KM southwest of Bosasso port town. At least 16 people were killed in ensuing battle which erupted in midnight and continued till the dawn of Wednesday, sources told RBC Radio. But there are no any independent sources to confirm who controls the town. Since October last year when Puntland forces siezed Galgala, Atam’s milia were re-grouping in Beer village of Sanag region under the protection of Somaliland administration, Puntland security minister told RBC Radio. I don't think he ever left, he definitely does not sound as confident as his other interviews, his voice is quiet and has no enthusiasm. I believe he realizes that the people of these communities are not supporting him. I can guess that those South African mercenaries will be returning as Faroole now has a reason for their presence. Or maybe this has to do with U.S Senator Mark Kirk's visit. Just like last time when there was an upsurge in killings around the state and other problems, Mr. Atam came and took a lot of attention away from that. It seems he is back again helping out Faroole.

AYOUB;718689 wrote: That's one way to look at things, but lot's of people have died. AUN I agree the fighting is pointless. Even Atam was questioning why the people were coming to his defense. You are not hearing of protest or rally's in support of him. Anyhow, just go on Garoweonline and look at their news. You barely see stuff about Puntland, even when new states are allegedly named or killings take place. It is not very up to date site anymore. But when it comes news about Atam and Al-Shabaab?? It's on in a snap of a finger! Faroole's admin wants news to spread about this conflict, it is not something they are trying to cover up.

I can act like a secessionist right and ask how we know this is Lascaanood, but I won't. The questions is, did 1 of your s0-called party leaders campaign here? I know the former vice-pres did. But JB and I had a friendly wager that Riyaale would never step foot in there, I won. More importantly the last video you sent, the reporter needed to travel to Lascaanood by cover of night with a "military escort". You consider that being in control? The bottom line is simple, Riyaale thought the city was in his control and he tried to visit. No leader has ever step foot in there again.
-
Xaaji I asked you questions and you answered none. Instead you put video's up that are from a time before the SSC is what it is now. The video your showed could not take place right now because now there is armed opposition around this area! We saw what happened in June when election workers(AUN) tried to go to Sool during your so-called elections.

Xaaji Xunjuf;718698 wrote: People a Country that controls 95% of the Former british protectorate of Somaliland it does not rely on 12000 African forces. 95% is that so? So why hasn't Siilaanyo travelled outside of three towns that are in close proximity of each other? Why did people in Borama bring out Somalia's blue flag? Or 300 ONLF can just cross right through months ago? Finally, how can you control 95%, if we are yet to see any pictures of people filling ballots outside of the burco, bebera, hargeysa triangle or more importantly, foreign observers for the so-called elections could only monitor stations in 4 towns? You can claim to control 95% but when foreign visitors arrive in Hargeysa, they quickly realize how much you control when they are unable to leave the triangle.

It's interesting how the other secessionist cheerleaders avoid this thread!

Masha'Allah this is great news!!! It's ineresting that it is the British that are opening embassy, when secessionists are always bragging about being colonialized by them!
