Somaliland basically broke away as a tribal entity, it is made up of one major tribe(even though it's president is from a minority one, he must answer to elders of the majority). When Puntland in some sense did that it was more peaceful then it is now and we know where lascaanod stood. Now that it is supporting the TFG it has develop some problems. Somali land is peaceful for Somali standards but please there's not impressive of a tribe breaking away!

I'll ask about the airport, I heard the goal is by the end of summer. But the people have really welcomed the exploration and has employed many people.

I few years ago many Arab states banned the import of live stock from Somalia, claiming they carried disease. This hurt the already fragile Somali economy which was dependant on income it brought in. Soon after that Arab states gave Somalia a different option which involved bringing the animals through djbouti for examining. This proved not to be in Puntland's best interest because of the fact that Djbouti would take a percent of the money. After great debate the Puntland Administration thought of another alternative which would have a live stock quarantine built in Bosasoo that met the Arab state's health standards. This way it would not only employ Somalis, it would also help the animal herders who lost a lot. This is one of the many projects that this administration has involved itself in. It is finding ways to look past the fact that Puntland has a significant arid landscape and is finding ways to get the economy going. The airport is being built and the runway is the most difficult and costly part of it, but insha'Allah it will be finished. The Somalia has been suffering for 17 years and it won't be fixed quickly. The Puntland administration has been taking everything one step at a time. But like so many other countries Somalia needs help from it's diaspora, not by the typical complaining about this or that leader. Just simply involving yourself in projects that would help your people.

Fair enough. I don’t think it will be possible, I mean will they do drug test to make sure no one is eating it? But the problem with the drug is that takes up so much time chewing it. People wake at 6 or 7, then nap at 12, then eat from like 2 or 3 until it's dark. At least that what I noticed.
