Sightings of the moon sometimes vary from one country or the other for instance when it is sunrise in one part of the world it is sometimes sunset in another due to time differences. It is also possible that in some countries there is overcloud etc which makes sighting a bit difficult.Or in some cases it is difficult for some countries as they do not have procedures for sighting of the moon and do not practice the Lunar calender.Due to all this differences it is advisable to seek the best information you can.Now in the case of Ramadhan it is possible for some communities to sight the moon earlier or later than others and since their is no centralised system it is advisable to take the lead from the Home of Islam- saudi arabia where the practice the lunar month and islamic calender. As for hajj as i mentioned the eid will be determined by the Hajj as this Eid is the celebration of the end of Hajj and like it or not we have to take the lead from all those millions of fellow muslims who have taken the time and made the effort to perform hajj and it is therefore during the 9th day of the Hujjaj's time in the Hajj that we fast and the 10th day that they celebrate Eid that we celebrate Eid with them.I hope this answers your questions

we fast on the 9th day of Hajj which is today and we break fast tonight at sunset and we Eid with them tomorrow on 10th day of Dhul Hijja. The month is dictated by the Lunar sighting but the day is fixed as in the 10 th deay or the 9th day of dhul hijja when we fast.I hope that helps

I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom comes responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended. NELSON MANDELA Hasna i read the Long walk to freedom and it was one heck of a book.wonderful book

MR ORGILAQE replied to Seeking Paradise's topic in General
Maybe only "maybe"means as some people do in my culture to make engagement(Nikaah) then they can get to know each other! Go out together but with condition which is only to go to public places like Movies , restaurants..etc. So if she doesn't like him nothing I mean no demage could happen to her and leave him and give it back his dowry and every one is happy. OG Girl if Nikkah takes place you are married Period and can do what you wish.If you wish to be divorced after that you are divorced, let's not get this things confused shall we! -

Chris Rock's Quote of the Day: "You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war! , and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'. Need I say more?"
