Zak, If you would have followed the Khatumo2 team whom in the past weeks and still are visiting all SSC towns/cities from inside Ethiopia to all the way cities in Sanaag where ssc community dwells, you would have understood about the where hard slowed point of how could it be possible Las-Anod to be a host city for the upcoming conference when in fact fast majority of ssc are against s/l and its occupation of that city. Here is the complete history: The team/Guddi put together by Khatuumo organizers from the diasporas members will go(already are) to all cities/towns of SSC specially those are not occupied by other forces in this case somaliland. Their purposes are: 1 . To inform the community about khatuumo1 and its outcomes and the upcoming Khatumo2 which is the outcome of Khatumo1. 2. To analyze and vent a place that is a suitable to held the conference, Khatumo2. The second point is the one in question. The place for conference has set of criteria such as: 1. City/town can accommodate the conference. 2. Secure/safe 3. Conference attendees are free and no involvement from neither p/l nor somaliland. This Guddi are telling people that they are not here(there) on behalf of any particular group such as ssc wing, snmu, s/l, p/l or any other group, but they are here only to info people about the above outcomes from Khatumo1.. The objective of the meeting (khatumo1) is to unite entire community regardless of which side they are right now and consensually come up with a solution to end the current status quota of division. So to answer your question after the conference if fast majority of people agree upon anything, that is where the family will go. It could be s/l with certain conditions such as no disunity from somalia.. BUT 100% that is unlikely and more likely won't be p/l either. So it's certainly will be maamul u gaar ah bulshadaan.. AND both admins are tirelessly working to stop it.. So what brought up the idea about the conference to be held in Las-anod.. A week or so ago when the Guddi were in Tuka raq, Cuqaal, odayo and other members came from Las-anod and met with Khatumo2 Guddi, and they offered that if it's agreed upon to held the conference in Las-Anod, they will guarantee the safety and no intervention from anyone. So that is where all this discussion started. And to add, Mr. Galaydh was embarking about this offer and is saying nothing makes Xaaran to held the conference that city if the people who claim they rule the city (ssc with somaliland) take the responsibility as he opinion. Is this morally right/wrong? it's personal opinion. Me think though, impossible, and won't be the case.. It will more likely be Buhodle, the troy city or Taleex, the historic somali city..
