The prof. has free to voice his opinion and I am not sure if also supports s/l succession though last time I knew he was opposed to. So no make sense if he is anti-succession to oppose awadal and Khatumo to have their own governance under the TFG and not join to the successionist lot. I personally disagree with Siilaanyo's reaction to this and believe that the softly-softly approach would have yielded better results. I understand the point of all those 'banaan baxs' (Siilaanyo's biggest ever 'gudi') but feel that it was ill judged and hasty (unless of course he means to deploy 'ciidanka qaranka' in something more than a night raid or a passing skirmish).
