Haatu;886334 wrote: lol Am I that bad that even Alpha has to give me pointers? Wow now that is a revelation. Wolf you say. Hmmm... Alpha got it right, but I don't think this was his nickname but his father's. I could be wrong but I heard people calling to him as Ina yeey, which meant the son of Yeey.. BTW, in general nicknames just come out of no co-relation with language or calture, very much they are independent and based on reasons, incidents etc.

I urge the thread to be titled to SL predicament! lol..

States to eye closely, OH, FL, VA, WI, IA and CO.. May be few more, but if Obama tops OH, WI and IA and may be VA, he has a clear win.. Not to mention FL and OH win for Obama will be a sweep. These are mostly contested and closely raced states to to dertermine the winner...

Duqa xamar waa ku soo gaboobey.. Welcome back Oday. Meesha lagu kala bax ee Fiqiyow forget about p/l. Buhodle is so unique when it comes the freedom that its people have. No matter which lot you get paid from, one can express his/her support so long he/she isn't not threat to that same freedom he/she is exercising but both p/l and s/l are not popural admins in that city.

Gheelle.T;886340 wrote: Jacpher, I was listening to one the Republican pundits last night and he predicted MN to go Romney's way. Even the crazy Rush predicted over 300 electoral votes for Mitt and an easy win. ;) These are some sort of tatics to discourage people not to vote as they inteded but MN is blue as the somali flag.

Somali philosopher;886337 wrote: Voting the first time I was expecting for the moment to live upto it's hype, all I saw we're bunch of seniors a couple of Somali mothers and a place quieter than a library. I was waiting for a crowd to cheer me on as I blackened that Obama circle until the paper got wet from the ink but all I got was some white guy trying to look at my ballot like he was cheating a test. I was only excited about Amy because I like her. And of course i voted Yes on the qanis amendment. Usuall AM and early afternoons arequieter because most people are working and planning to vote after work. So those who have the chance to vote early hours are the luckier ones. It will get busies after 4pm.

Keep on updating about your experience for those of you who voted today? It's yet better to vote during the day than later after work when everyone wants to catch up the last few hours.. GT, are you not voing? or you're not from the states? Tonight will be a night to get closed to the screen sets. Xiin and I seems we live same block and voted for same ones.

^ Awoowe, be a bit fair though I know you always dance with your lot;)..Jk.. Anyway, the predicament of SL isn't not only about Fawziya's departure to the union but whole series of events in the past two years, from the loss of Kalshaale, inability to close the border, embarrassment from Buhodle attack, recognition setbacks, participation of Somalia’s constitution in Mogadishu, the conferences it attended as part and the parcel of Somalia and many more including Fawziya's. If all these can't make proper debate yet SSC/Khusuusi and Khaatumo can, ooh well maxaa yaala meeshaba..

Awoowe, unless I am reading wrong, they are up for re-election.. More than $2 billion has been spent on a barrage of negative ads in the fight for Congress, where the entire 435-seat House and 33 of the 100 Senate seats are at stake. Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Republican House Speaker John Boehner are likely to retain their posts. http://thegrio.com/2012/11/06/control-of-us-congress-likely-to-remain-same/ http://www.azcentral.com/news/politics/free/20121106control-us-congress-likely-remain-same.html

Fowzia's story is a nightmare to many successionists who thought they are better and will never go where it's greener. Now I demand NG to open a thread titled "SL predicement" before I do..

For those who are US citizens, today is Tuesday Nov 6th 2012. The day to vote for USA president, many Senators and entire 435 Congress seats not to mention many state governors, local representatives, juridical seats and many more local posts. Also several constitutional amendments are on some of the states’ ballot. To tell few, there are two constitutional amendments on MN's ballots where large Somali community dwell, voter ID requirement and marriage definition . So Did you vote yet? Are you going to vote? What was your experience for today’s voting?
