Masha'Allah the First Annual Australian Islamic Conference was a huge success. I was so sad to see it come to an end after 3 days of enjoyment and simulation. It’s amazing to also see the media frenzy around the function. Anything for a story. It’s very obvious to most people that the media are forever chopping and changing words to suite their objective. Yvonne Is the most courageously out spoken woman I have seen and we need more sisters like her. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind and stand up for what she believes in and most importantly does not bow down to tyrants. Even big ones like the media.

I hate bad smell! I hate people who smell and I hate university because broke *** students tend to smell the most. I love my perfume and I love pleasent smells. I would choice overload on perfume any day to a smelly farax or xamilo. But I have to admit I can not stand the Catir that older womem wear. It makes me physically sick (splits my head in two). I guess the rule is moderation. Oh and I would love to just shoot anyone who use Chanel5 and Angel Akhaas!

Subxan'Allah. May Allah give her and her sisters strength? There is actually a Somali woman and her daughter that I know who have been burnt with acid. I think it was her husband at the time that threw acid at her and her newborn many years ago. They have both since had reconstructive surgeries but the wounds still remain, with the mother blinded by the incident. Her daughter however has an ongoing treatment with skin grafting and reconstruction of her face and looks amazing considering. It’s sad that some people lack compassion. May Allah guide this Ummah Ameen.

The rubbish problem is pretty bad in Somalia. Sad to see people are to busy building houses instead of the essentials, ie roads and rubbish tips. Although i hear they are working on these problem and in some parts of our beloved land it has improved. Rokko i get so worked up when i see people come back, makes me want to pack up and go. BoB was that the boat crash in early 90's i think 1990? so many of Hoyoo's family passed away in that. She left us here to go back and bring her sister to Australia for treatment. She was in a coma and died while mum was there. I was in grade 1 i think when it happened. I remember we stayed with family friend who used to force me to drink strawberry flavoured milk which to this day can not look at. Hmmm... I'm 23 from the 83' crew. Take it or leave it. In 5 years time i'll be a happy 28 year old. Age doesn't bother me. The funny thing is I know folks in my area who after a couple of years claim to be younger then me by something silly like 5 years, when I know for a fact they have to be at least 5 years older.
