  2. Amiin to all the ducas and indeed may Allah (swt) bring her speedy recovery.
  3. Hello from Helsinki. @nicknames. This how they came to be: "Qal'dan" = way qal'dan yihiin dee to want separation althought it refers to the dialect Fa'qash = the sound that military boots made when they walk on the sand at beaches and desert. Wallanweyn = a town in south central somalia that return more votes than the north (Hargeysa to specific) in the 1960s constitution elections
  4. hello people!. can't be bothered to catch up what has being going on - any one willing to give me the 411?
  5. Axmed Diidaad (AUN) in agruement with christian priest said: if Ciisa (CW) was the son of God - then we are all the sons of God. istakh;furanllah!.
  6. it is on: Tuesday 6th of July 2010 - 2pm start sharp @ Lambeth Academy Couple suggestions I made to the company performing the play - in order to completely Somalinise (sic) the play are: •Romeo’s name is to be changed to Raage and his clan is from Qardho •Juliet’s name is to be changed to Jallaqo and her clan is from Burco •The play is to take place in Taleex, Xamar •Instead of sword fighting – Tooray baa lay is gelinayaa •Instead of Dancing – there should be Dhaanto iyo Heello. P.s – if you are a secondary school teacher in London – or anywhere else in England and you can make to the event – please do come and bring Somali students with you – as part of school outing. The performance is completely free – but in order to avoid disappointment – book in advance if you are going to bring more than ten people and more importantly arrive on time.
  7. Wax Fahan! The name is aNd-gone-gay! Ngonge Waan fahmay! Sow Faheema kama hadlayno? A&T Indeed , dear lad,,,,, ( of ninnies kind, mind you, my mind is mine to mire with mud, if one must ) but misunderstanding of the proportionality kind ( where pirates are to be seen in everywhere ) highlighted for us ( at least the ones who are able to discern; what no one else is able to discern ) confused with Confucius says,,, indeed is where all ‘wax fahan’ ku fahantay. Oodweyne Wax Fahan?? Come again dear lad, mugging Morgan’s villa is understatement not misunderstanding and is not amusing. Young turk is the future. General Duke Xamasad ima hayso, waxaan fahmila’ahay, xamar waxa ka socdo miyeydin mandhowyaal mirra idin’la lahayn? Maaddey ^^^Xaar baa ku haya marka, orod oo xamar la aad. Caanaboodhe causes diarrhoea, but if drunk with Fanta; fahmiyadey ku furaysaa like me. MR Somalia xushmad iyo xumaan ninbaa sida xaarwalwale isugu walaaqi jiray fahanla’aan baa idin haysa that one there was scripted by a script. Xiinfaniin Erm, erhm, mmmm, lool, weli ma fahmin, Faysal Cali Waraabe baan soo waydinayaa, I know him, you know, hadayaan hilib wada cunay. Jacaylbaro You see me, anigu ma waalani, I was talking to my dad on palktalk, he said to me – "understand me son, stop what you are doing", but he doesn’t know I am cowke and I don’t fall for that easily. Cowke To be continued...... in the mean time In human intercourse the tragedy begins, not when there is misunderstanding about words, but when silence is not understood. Henry David Thoreau It is by universal misunderstanding that all agree. For if, by ill luck, people understood each other, they would never agree. Charles Baudelaire Logic: The art of thinking and reasoning in strict accordance with the limitations and incapacities of the human misunderstanding. Ambrose Bierce Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Martin Luther King, Jr. Most quarrels amplify a misunderstanding. Andre Gide

QARDHO ??
  9. Originally posted by Norfsky: Sayid, 360 = full circle, complete change etc. Ever hear any say so and so did a 180? full circle does not mean complete change and 360 degrees turn is not an idiom - when you turn 360 degrees you just turn all the way around in a total circle and end up facing the same way. "A 180 degree turn" is a phrase you might hear to mean that someone turned around and went in the opposite direction - this is sometimes used to mean a mental "turn" or a character "turn" as well as a physical movement
  10. Originally posted by rudy-Diiriye: I was yapping the other day with what I thought was friend. All of sudden the xalimo did a 360 and started squeazing my nuts! It was gardharo out of no where. if "the xalimo did 360" turn on you - she would still end up in the same place she was already at - hence one is left to conclude that she was already "squazing your nuts". am i the only one who is seeing this - or did rudy attend the same amount of time in maths lessons as he did in english classes??
  11. Serenity my sister from Burco ( ) - i knew you had by back - now tell them to restore my friendship on FB forthwith. LOL@ the misplaced bags (both delibarate ones and the accidentals)
  12. Deleted - that is not oxymoron; it is just plain and simply Moronic of the highest order. Ibti - you wouldn't like the source...
  13. One fine day in the middle of the night, Two dead boys got up to fight, Back to back they faced each other, Drew their swords and shot each other, One was blind and the other couldn't see, So they chose a dummy for a referee. in the mean while.... A blind man went to see fair play, A dumb man went to shout "hooray!" A paralysed donkey passing by, Kicked the blind man in the eye, Knocked him through a nine inch wall, Into a dry ditch and drowned them all, back at two dead boys... A deaf policeman heard the noise, And came to arrest the two dead boys, If you don't believe this story’s true, Ask the blind man; he saw it too!
  14. "somali-african marriage" ??? WTF! who is the moron who came up with this oxymoronically indigent couch phrase???
  15. Ibtisaam - why have you deleted me on facebook? Norf - right on man! - these greedy ones could have being giving their charity to Qardho or even Burco... Dalaq soo dheh - dhexda ku soo dhac.

Malika & Zafir - bloody ma naxayaal. where is your naxariis. i remember once my uncle slapping me because - i had bet with his son that i could hit a qooley with dhagax before it flew away and i did. another dangerouse thing we use to do was to look for snakes under the rocks by turning the rocks with bare hands so that we can kill them - but in that case we beleived we were doing community service.
