^^username - isku xishood ama is celi!! waa ramadaan, so be extra careful and restraint yourself should you feel the urge to abuse. and that is my brotherly advice to you - take it or leave it. As for DQ - wasn't it California that Castro of Cuba sent all the criminals in his jails to? perhaps somalia should do the same, i mean exile the lot that are currently in prisons and after that anybody else who commits a crime must be dealt with via sharia and correct if i am wrong but doesn't the sharia allow the exiling of criminals if there is no punishment allready entailed in the law.

Unknown - do you mean Dhulqarnay the Republic of Florida or California (or where it was that he used to sign under his name) Cige - joining the insurgents would be respectable and would offer them redemtion. no good. i honestly belief that an Islamic state should have no prisoners, only police station holding rooms, where people might be held whilst waiting for trial, if there is a concern of them running away before the courts due date. suspects should not be held for no more than three months and if found innocent they should be compesated for the loss of time.

couple years ago, i decided to buy my flat from the council on Amaana loan from the bank (well, actually the bank bought it on my behalf) i considired all the implications before i bought this and the most serious warning i got from respectable sheikhs (that asked for their fatwas)were that there is doubt (the halaal mortgage) is similar to an interest and it best to leave things with doubt. the rest were saying it is okay and it is not the same as an interest; it is legal profit. however i was certain what i was doing was and still is not a haram thing to do. it is not an interest despite nearly working about the same amount. on the weekend i got into anguerment with this brother at the local masjid. the brother was adamant that all kinds of mortgage were haram and i am doomed to hell. Subxanallah. anyways - want to know do any of the nomads here, have this halaal mortgage or as they called Amaana loan and what is your undertsanding of this system and would you consider buying a house int he uk, if you don't have already?

^^what should we do with the criminals then?

Well should she? and when i say prisons i mean a place wher criminals are confined such as secure place where somebody is confined as punishment for a crime or while waiting to stand trial

Life is good in my Nairobi slum, says Barack Obama's younger brother George Obama, half-brother of Barack, hopes to become a car mechanic Rob Crilly in Nairobi The muddy lanes and rickety shacks of Huruma slum are known for their poverty, disease and outbreaks of gang violence — but for Barack Obama’s half-brother it is the place he calls home. Yesterday, as the Democratic nominee moved ever closer to the White House, George Hussein Onyango Obama, the youngest of his halfsiblings, responded to claims that his family had abandoned him by insisting that he was content with life in a simple wooden hut. “Life in Huruma is good. In other places you must lock yourself in to keep yourself safe,” he told The Times. “Here I am surrounded by friends and family and feel safe and secure.” His home stands beside a dirt road that had turned to mud after a night of rain. Nearby, women fried spicy potato bhajis in vats of bubbling oil as the smell of rubbish wafted through the streets. Not far away six people were hacked to death during the political violence that rocked Kenya earlier this year. George, 26, had been living a quiet life, studying to become a car mechanic until earlier this week when Vanity Fair tracked him down to Huruma, on the edge of Nairobi. Related Links Obama's ad campaign turns nasty Obama close to naming running mate Barack Obama’s Kenyan family prays for peace He said that he was furious at subsequent reports that he had been abandoned by the Obama family and that he was filled with shame about living in a slum. “It seems there are people who want to destroy me and my family,” he said. “They say I live on a dollar a month, but this is all lies by people who don’t want my brother to win.” He said that he was supported by his mother, Jael, who now lives in the US, and by a cousin in Huruma. The Obama family in Kenya watched with dismay as the campaign in the US turned increasingly negative. Reporters have tried to prove that Barack Obama is a secret Muslim and have tracked down friends of his father, portrayed as a drunk and abusive husband. Now they are worried that a careless comment in Kenya could have repercussions thousands of miles away. George is the youngest of Barack’s seven half-brothers and sisters. He was born to Barack Obama Sr’s fourth partner, six months before his father died in a car crash. Yesterday, over a simple lunch of barbecued goat and fistfuls of thick maize porridge, George admitted that he knew little about his famous half-brother. “People keep asking questions, but I have met him only twice and I can’t speak about what kind of man he is,” he said. “Many people don’t know about my connection,” he continued, dipping a greasy hunk of goat in salt before popping it into his mouth. “If people ask about my name I tell them we are not related. The problem here is that people have expectations and think I would look after them.” Kenyan politics is synonymous with corruption and MPs are expected to shower cash and development projects on their home villages. George said he expected no favours and wanted to work for a living, even though he was confident that his brother would be moving into the White House. “He has already done so many firsts, as black president of the Harvard Law Review and getting the nomination, so we believe he will win,” he said. That means the half-brothers and sisters, and the countless cousins, uncles and aunts that make up the Obama family will have to get used to being in the media spotlight.

i watched this programme entitled 'four women: one man ....plus another woman (for good measure) and it was nothing more than wakh wakh iyo waali! As for the show it was totally sanctimoniously sacrilegious and the man was heretic (istakhfuran'llah)

i watched - i thought - 'Islam came as stranger and would return as stranger' the rest was wakh wakh iyo waali necaayb qabta

Good Afternoon Trollers - how is your fastings going - any body forget they were fasting and drunk yet?

What is with you people? either come with solutions or stop debunking ideas (to borrow che's phrase). all i see is moaning and whining and the occassionaly boasting about inoccent children and women, elderly and bystanders being killed without mercy. plus the usuall call for clan arms etc. how about we end all this and actually, behead (probably they wont amount to no more than hundren) these so called leaders who all this happens under their watch and then let them come up with excuse for what they have whilst claiming leadership and responsibility for others. Now- before you label any of these as either stupiid or useless, think about it and say what is wrong with it. and please no more 'you and whose army?' Remember: if there is a will, there is a way! Edit: However, when you see people wasting their time with dreams it's unfair to just leave them to it. If you're a true nationalist, if you want to make a difference and if you're sincere in your aims (dreams at this moment in time), there really is nothing stopping you from seeking out likeminded people and starting to work towards making that change. The facilities are all here (where you reside), there is no shortage of people and you may even get assistance from friendly benefactors i conclude two things from this^ 1. you are obviously not like minded with me 2. thank God you are not like minded with me since you are waiting assistance from 'friendly benefactor' i wonder what this 'benefactor' will benefit from providing assistance?

NG - it is not that it has not been done before and with great success i might add. and yes i am very serious with this at least as one way of ending this never ending cycle of violence. and what is so ironic about beheading so called leaders. i am not beheading them for just because they killed, but rather that they claimed to be leaders, when they can even lead goat to a grass. BG- what do you think about these beheadings and geel ka lallal? is it outside the box thinking?
-
^^^how would you know? critic please!
-
well so far only me it seems, probably unknown1 will join just to do the actually killing. but i am recruiting at the moment - so are you willing to join? we don't need that much army just couple million $$ or ££ and calling meeting for all the 'Leaders' and then just get on with chopping (even though i prefer the qurac ka lallal, but i know the unknown1 will enjoy the chopping, so if you can't join just send him a sharpe sword otherwise you'll know he be using a blunt tooray)
-
No! and No! regardless of which clan they are, who ever claims to be a leader of somesort or somewhwere currently as in now today (or the day the beheading is going on) And you can't blame if one clan has more people claiming to be leaders than others - not my fault, just that clan or clans have bigger ego than anyone else and i shall enjoy crashing it.
-
behead everyone that has a whiff of guiltiness about them and then behead some more just to be sure Ngonge - i am really serious with this as a solution to the lack of proper leadership in our neck of the woods, whether it be beheading or geed ka soo lallaal we need to find a way of getting rid of the rubbish. Was there a hadith about the man who seeks power and status as being more harmful to his deen than a wolf eating sheep as in the pain the sheep is feeling being lesser than a power hungery man on his deen. (would someone correct me here if i am wrong, i read this while back and i can't remember the exact wording) anyway i actually belief that one example is enough for everyone to change their ways, otherwise this beheading will on until the beheader is beheaded, we got to stop somewhere and i think it would be good enough to stop at whoever currently claims to be a leader, icluding that one in mogadishu dalmar or dameer or what ever his name is who goes around the world claiming to be the predident of somalia (i am not refering to yey here rather a business madman, come 'elected'president of somalia)
-
In response to the topic title: the answer is simple NO! the situation in somalia and much of the world in terms of leadership only reminds me of the near end of the world; as i understand it, one of the signs of the nearness of the end is 'when the stu8ip will lead instead of the wise'. correct me if i am wrong but i hardly know of anything resembling good leadership in somalia. from the strongest country in the world 'Ameerika' (judging by influence on the world stage) and the weakest (somalia) are lead by the most stupidiest donkeys the world has ever seen or likely to see. The quickest (not the best way) but nevertheless the most ruthless way to ensure good leadership in Somalia is to behead all current so called leaders and anyone who aspires to lead the country (the last one would probably mean the near destruction of Somalia, but I am sure after only couple are beheaded for simple wanting to lead the country; no one will step forward again). After this is done people might nominate through committee people who suit the certain criteria as set out in sunnah and sharia and who demonstrated good leadership.

Somali single mother beats inner-city odds to secure five As at GCSE
SayidSomal replied to Fabregas's topic in General
GB_ - waa geeljire u ducaysanaya 'Good GCSEs' Ibti- the ability of somalis to achieve the highest possible grades/recognition etc is not in question here nor i am ever surpised by my peoples abilities to achieve the impossible. i only had issue with those that had negative comments despite the positive nature of the article. there was the somali boy who won the europian youn scientist award, beating some 2O thousand entries and even my own niece who just last week got 12 GCSE and the lowest mark she got was one B in Art and many many others who are innumerous to mention here, but when it comes to collective, we somalis are being looked down on, perhaps as payback for our own sins of looking down at each other back home and even in here and many other places -
