ice-skating, i LOVE ICE SKATING, BUT YOUR feet go sore and i won't be able to walk in my little heels i know what you mean about the uni gym, but i hate uni i feel like i live in that place already with out using their gym, and they charge £30 a month, which is too much if you are going to use it once or twice. or you can pay £95 one academic year, but i only have 4months left in uni. wooooh can't wait, going to my legs and bums class now, i'll let you know if i can still move 2morrow cheers

Horse riding, fishing and fox hunting? Axudubillah, I have not lost my identity, give me gaal iyo adhirax and I’ll say yeah otherwise nay to the above. cajjib, oh well looks like i have lost my identity when i was 10 the (first time i went horse riding) who needs somali identity anyway. lool i don't have that much of a big family that i see often, and i'm the youngest, so i can't run after my self now can i. cheers for the suggestion love foxy; back to the subject ibtisam why dont You just go for a long fast paced walk 4 times a week and that should keep the kilos piling on the hips.... foxy sis its so cold, i make it my business never to stay on the outside for more than 20mins, without going somewhere to get warm, maybe in the summer. anyway after searching for ages. i found this lesson in this place in oxford st, £5 for hr, i have signed up for this session called, "legs, bums, tummy" lool. my first lesson is today at 12.30, so i'll see how it goes cheers people

Salaam Global Nomads, The problem with the Somali Youth in diaspora is The Role Models of the ex-drug dealers and criminals turn into Rappers and promoted by Giant corporations like music channels e.g MTV, Universal Music and Paramount playing as a role models for our naive and innocent youth, and turned them into gangsta yob, and little criminals selling drugs on the broad daylight in the major british cities, and they are the children who came from a good homes and decent families but they think this the way forward hip, sleek and chick there prefect role models are the likes as Curtis Jackson aka 50 cent, Tyler, Snoop dog, Jay-Z. there will be a time when Faraax in the mafarish will be like a saint, just wait and see how this kids behave and God knows what kinda of drugs they take. All what they like to say is WAG 1 (the west slang of hello), and Welcome to the future.   idil really what part of UK do you hail from. I’ve lived her all my life and up this day no one has ever asked me my clan. i would probably beat them silly or die of shock. Strange. As for the topic i think we have bigger problems to worry about then our youth in the west. That’s a choice that they make, and it’s their fault for not making use of the opportunities open to them, whether it be education or life style. They have choice to act and life their live in a different way, and they do not deserve sympathy, nor concern. People can only help those that want to be helped. i think instead we should be helping or be concerned about people who have no choice about their life style, yesterday i saw the figures that over 2 million Somalis face death due to drought, starvation and an enduring conflict, it is these people that need your help and concern. Not people who have had all the opportunity to make something of themselves and instead turned to robbery, drugs and whatever else you accuse them of. cheers

its so funny i was just about to post about hamas and then i saw this. anyway what i wanted to say was democracy or hypocrisy. America and Israel both said that the reason it was difficult to deal with Palestine was because it was not based on democracy ut rather on one party system, close to dictatorship, and if they want to move forward with peace plans there must be a democratic environment. the whole week Israel and America pleaded with the Palestine people not to vote for hamas, which was clearly ignored as the won 39.9% of the vote, which fatah (Arafat party won 46%). in response to this America responded last night "our policy has not changed, we have said before and again we say that we will not deal with terrorist, this includes hamas, we will have no dealing with them. what happened hamas won their votes by clear majority and democratic votes. so what’s the problem. They are what the people choice. its crazy, there is no winning, they just want to exchange one form or dictatorship for another.

Another victim of the English language and the new wave of immigrants who sacrificed everything for gaining an excellence in English! i don't class my self as a victim, and i have not sacrificed anything. Apart from the time I sold my soul to the devil. i guess what we have here is another "i know it all" kind of character, bored out of his mind. PLZ farah with all due respect keep your opinions to your self unless they have something to do with the topic in hand, which they clearly don't. Must i remind you that i have a family of my own, and i suggest you worry about what happens in your house hold, it is them you are responsible for not this “new wave of immigrantsâ€. i won't tell you again, run along now

^^^what do i care about physical contact even better i get to beat some people while pretending to be learning which reminds me i use to do kick boxing and in training you were allowed minimum contact, which meant when you were paired up with some you sort of dislike, you use full force and say "sorry was that too hard, ouch are you ok". and where do you live that you can do that for £4, i might move near you then. fishing in the River Thames, there are no fish and the whale died so that’s out of question and it sounds relaxing not challenging, killing fish for the sake of it since i don't even it fish (unless its processed and in a tune tin) Bishaaro good old days haah SB

Kooleey i do that, but not everyday just when i am trying to think and pretty soon, someone will start knocking on my door, or put a quran tape outside my room so that i trun my music off or down the guilt trips they put me on, so cruel. I need something I pay for, with fix times that requires someone else teaching me or at least making me feel like I have to go. But for now I will check out your suggestion Ahura; sis that’s terrible. All i seem to do these days sit in front of a computer, at work and at uni and even when i get home. no wonder i feel like a nerd, which i am not use to. i use to go running in the morning until some farah across the road decided he will join me  so until i find another route, can't even do that and i feel so abnormal and lazy. lool i will let you know if i find anything cheers girls for all ur suggestions. appricate it

i guess here at SOL every thing is up for discussion, big or small

^^^yes natural to defend your self when you have an image to uphold. special if there is truth to the expression used. it only concerned you beacuse it was too close for comfort. now mucmnap mshug naaoiu nmka benji oui si so. and stop being so argumentative. don't you know women are always right
-
maturity and old age come hand in hand ^^^loool paranoia is part of old age. i have made no assumptions of anyones age. just an "expression" which you read too much into. i can't read Somali so i have no idea the last part. possibly just saying bye i guess. cheers

^^are u laughing at my distress, laughing at my expense. cheers for the suggestion. might check it out if worse comes to worse, although hackney/Islington is bit far. As for Arabic music and friends. only time i see Somali/ Arab people is at weddings and even then you have to attack respectable and not dance too much  unless it is women only, which means no music and i just eat and sit and watch islamoo jump up and down

u guys make me laugh. old farts that u all are

Hello ppl Has anyone every checked out the prices for dance lessons. anyway i never make use of my gym membership so this year I didn’t rejoin, instead i thought I’ll do something fun that i enjoy. I miss dancing as I use to have 3lessons a week in college and i though I’d join dance school/studio and have 1/2 lessons a week to keep fit, relieve stress and just chill. only to find out that one lesson cost £59   like a broke student can afford that and even if i could why would you pay £59 for couple of mirrors and a hall fully of sweating people  so i though I’d come on here and rant/ let some steam off. Any Londoner know any places that holds cheap dance sessions, and please no pubs or night clubs. And does anyone know any other things that i can do as a hobby, that is fun, helps keep fit and relieves stress. I’m thinking horse riding or swimming now Cheers

i am sure the A HARGEISAWI will understand in the near future. for now they will just have to imagine it just as they imagine that money drops through our letter box’s while we sit on our backsides all day, but we are still too mean to share the Free money. in any case it is not just a smell. if we go to other countries there is a total cultural barrier, for example how do you explain to a white man in london that he should eat pasto with his hands and then lick his figures as there is blessing from doing this. he would laugh at you. or a Jamaican/ Angolan man, that you must first marry before having sex, he would tell you "no man, me da check everythin works"

A salafiyah; i was talking to the person above you, as for what you wrote i can't read somali so i have no idea. sorry cheers
-
^^^ and how would you measure that. Does that mean that everywoman will have a farah that thinks she is the best thing since sliced bread. AND what about quality control, what happens if the qualities fades a little, out of date, rusty, then what he don't love her anymore
-
it is personal, i tell ya, it does not get anymore personal than this. i'm kick ur a*s*s ,
-

What are the chances ANYONE would respond to 4 yr old dead thread? What exactly were you doing unearthing the dead? i guess you don't count as anything^^ and i was trying to hide from doing work, so clicked on page 63, and this thread made me laugh, and i was wondering what happened. Let the dead rest in peace, they deserve at least that much. Jeeze! she should be thanking me, before me everyone ignored her. even from the dead this will be appricated Ok, you're pardoned but not totally off the hook. That is until you cease or tone down considerably your sardonic remarks. have i offended you? if not i will make every effort to do so in the future if i have. good, you should not have been paying so much attention to what i say in the first place!!!
