Something Very very Dodgy, I was so shocked to read it, that I promptly send him a PM and demanded he removed it. He was so very shamed afterwards, I was astonished, how could a Somali oddy even think, let alone write IT and post IT on a public forum. He named it n (for NEVER again) loool
  2. You made a book. Erm Okay, if it is in english i write, send it to me.
  3. ^^^You know I was wondering the same thing as well. Somali people in general are very nationalistic people, also if they feel under attacked for religious reasons they seem to stick together. I Know (seen/ heard) that many "somaliland" individuals joined the war, (same going from as far the UK to do so) so for a short time at least Somalis as a whole have found a common enemy to focus on. When and if this common enemy disappears I wonder if it will return to the old ways, or will it deteriorate even worse for the whole region, or maybe just maybe it might get better. I guess we'll just have to wonder for a while as for the post: very impressive indeed
  4. But i don't agree, because "private ibtisam" might have "guts", or maybe she is just cheeky, or maybe the major is her friend, not a serious question....the list is endless, it does not say anything about her good self esteem at all dear. There re limitations that have nothing to do with esteem, but to do with reality, ones beyond your control, ability. There are determining factors and outside influences that put some sort of limitations on all of us. As i said you are still a child so wait and see! On a side note, I really dislike people who cannot acknowledge their own limitations and short comings, and expect you to also not to notice or simple put up with it! I mean helllllo seriously!
  5. ^^^they got paid! and they sold their daughters to some reach dude. They would've added the mother too, if they were offered enough money  lol@never listen to an imam again

    Why?

loool.  this is getting depressing. Sorry miss sooo light skin, you are probably just imaging things hun, or maybe you misunderstood coz your somali is so bad. There are so many Half somalis, and light skin somalis i doubt anyone notices you   Consider moving to London if they still live in the cave where you are at.
  7. ^^^    Somali's they probably got lost or turned up 4hrs late. That’s what happens when things are rushed/ ill planned. Why was the organiser at home (trying really hard to give him benefit of doubt!)
  8. ^^i thought you were going to tell me you were in the army  HE can't be looking out for your interest if he told you make it four especially as you live in the UK, he wanted you in prison or in a mental institute
  9. Don't forget to add YET! give it time and they will emerge, what are you talking about everyone has some sort of limitations, I’m sure if you look hard enough you will spot it!
  10. You can go shopping for a Fatwa, As long as it is based on evidence i will take it off ya! How do you know the army way?
  11. ^or those who know their limits/ shortcomings But then again the saying "aim high" comes to mind. Or reach for the sky and you'll reach the clouds"

^^^what if does not want to "let it be" What if he wants fight about it! What if he must know what happened? Then what?
  13. loool. spelling his name wrong might have given you away dear! The fact I don't have evidence is why I was asking for Puja, as I have never come across anything that concerns this issue. You should be glade know that i don't believe you. Don't be those people that Allah spoke of in the Quran Who make the haram hala and visa verse and don't make innovations, as all innovations are evil and lead to hell fire. I'm not being difficult... stop trying to make new laws and ...!?
  14. loool^ why did i almost pis*s you off. I was quiet nice there! By the way it must be Sound/xasan evidence authorised by recognised scholars No weak/ daciif hadeeth please.
  15. ^^Islam is not always based on common sense, and we should not attribute something we personally don't like to Islam. I personally think this is crazy and dislike it but that does not mean religion agrees with me. In any case, if you do come across evidence, (don’t come back and tell me my hooyo/wadaad said so! loool) let me know.
  16. ^where? and who is organising it? did the last one take place, did anyone go? there is no point of demostrating if no one knows you did a demostration, it defeats the whole purpose of showing not ALL Somalis agree with the actions of their own government or the Ethiopian aggression. It informs the rest of the world of our strong feelings against such an aggression and disagreement with ‘our’ government’s decisions. if you simple go for a walk and then return home. If anyone knows who is organising these things, can you get them to contact me and I'll arrange for media representives to turn up. thanks.
  17. LOOOL; yeah do a poll. I don't think anyone will give you an honest answer. I guess that would mean that stunning girls can go about her business without being approached all the time, while the average looking xalimo suffers. If it is based on looks alone then I’m not to sure really, but I think more than looks; it depends on how approachable/ inviting she looks (whether she is average or stunning) Some girls are really good at looking stuck up/ unapproachable, so they don't get bothered by random Farahs trying their luck, while have talk to me all over their face. So my analysis is leagues exist and matter, but not based on looks. For example if you have PHD, a farah who knows this and who dropped out of school would not approach her, Or if he knows she has a top notch job and he is a taxi driver with bad English he might think she is out of his league. thats my 2cents
  18. I Think Somali women in Somalia has lost it completely and totally. Puja do you have evidence, or is it just based on your immense dislike of the action? Just wondering.

^^^^loool^ I have no idea why you bother. Dont let the Afro man get to you dear
  20. ^^^that is a problem, maybe she has split personality! she has certainly knows how to make people laugh. Her previous posts are comical!
  21. loool. i had to bring this post back! it is all "lost-one" fault! lool well at least she ended up married to some dude who ages very quickly and who is somali by the sound of it, and now she is on next stage, "the right time to have kids"! lool. Damn people do grow with this SOL! She might come back her in 40years time talking about here childrens other half's (back to work)
  22. ^^^I’ll remember that dear, I say give you a couple more days/months and you would get so religious that you would no longer post on SOL (wasting time ) nor would you go out with any of your current "friends" unless you were heading to the mosque or a talk! You wait and see, that Hijab has a mind of its own sometimes! You will end up making a whole bunch of friends like you and become isolated from the rest of society. You might not, but thats what happened to few people i knew. Yes you can get one from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, any event they are holding, you can get one from the save Al Aqsa group, Or Jews for Justice, or Stop the Wall ( I think it is called) not to mention Stop the war coalition. If all else fails, i have many, so I’ll post you one inshallah.
  23. otherwise misplaced lol! excuses, excuses... that piece of cloth prevents you from doing so much, it's a constant reminder "BEHAVE YOURSELF" and before you know it your neighbours will be telling their daughters to be more like you, not much for motivation but yeah...hijab rocks.. Too bad some people who wear it don't have any control or respect. As for the Neighbours, well they are the same people that probably speard all kind of talk about you a few months back, so it really would not matter what they say and think. In saying that people do change after covering, one of my friends last year covered, she changed so much it was scary in a good way. She does not talk to me anymore, but she loves her new life i hear. lool @end of sermon As for my graduation! It was great, it was funny, sad and strange, and the speeches were boring, and i did not fall over on stage . Everyone looked FAB  I end up in a red and black min dress with peep toe red platforms and sheer black leggings. It was cool!. I am so going hold my family to account for not attending, in fact I am going to remind them every time they ask me to do something I don't want to. Its true the gown covers mostly everything, wear beautiful shoes and take the price tags off at the bottom, the amount of women who walked on stage with bright white price label on the back of their shoes, flashing as they walked  All in all, it was good, ( we did not get to throw the hat! in the air!)
  24. JAy: I think shaqalan baan kuudacaat (You have no job<< in english makes no sense!) Why are you in our ocean? sort out your little skinny, bone as*s self On a serious note, fat is very bad, it is unhealth. On reading this thread, i suddenly became aware of how many male *H**'s we have on SOL  for some odd reason i though everyone here were normal people
  25. ^^^Wrong if there was no men, women would not have to wear a hijab! and yes you are all beast, you even hit on those who wear the "jalibies" AKA tents! Some are more creative, the are pink! AAliyah416 thats dat whole point dear
