You can go shopping for a Fatwa, As long as it is based on evidence i will take it off ya! How do you know the army way?
-
^or those who know their limits/ shortcomings But then again the saying "aim high" comes to mind. Or reach for the sky and you'll reach the clouds"
-
^^^what if does not want to "let it be" What if he wants fight about it! What if he must know what happened? Then what?
-
loool. spelling his name wrong might have given you away dear! The fact I don't have evidence is why I was asking for Puja, as I have never come across anything that concerns this issue. You should be glade know that i don't believe you. Don't be those people that Allah spoke of in the Quran Who make the haram hala and visa verse and don't make innovations, as all innovations are evil and lead to hell fire. I'm not being difficult... stop trying to make new laws and ...!?
-
loool^ why did i almost pis*s you off. I was quiet nice there! By the way it must be Sound/xasan evidence authorised by recognised scholars No weak/ daciif hadeeth please.

^^Islam is not always based on common sense, and we should not attribute something we personally don't like to Islam. I personally think this is crazy and dislike it but that does not mean religion agrees with me. In any case, if you do come across evidence, (don’t come back and tell me my hooyo/wadaad said so! loool) let me know.

Possible Demo in London Against the Ethiopian aggression against our Land!
Ibtisam replied to Dhagax-Tuur's topic in General
^where? and who is organising it? did the last one take place, did anyone go? there is no point of demostrating if no one knows you did a demostration, it defeats the whole purpose of showing not ALL Somalis agree with the actions of their own government or the Ethiopian aggression. It informs the rest of the world of our strong feelings against such an aggression and disagreement with ‘our’ government’s decisions. if you simple go for a walk and then return home. If anyone knows who is organising these things, can you get them to contact me and I'll arrange for media representives to turn up. thanks. -
LOOOL; yeah do a poll. I don't think anyone will give you an honest answer. I guess that would mean that stunning girls can go about her business without being approached all the time, while the average looking xalimo suffers. If it is based on looks alone then I’m not to sure really, but I think more than looks; it depends on how approachable/ inviting she looks (whether she is average or stunning) Some girls are really good at looking stuck up/ unapproachable, so they don't get bothered by random Farahs trying their luck, while have talk to me all over their face. So my analysis is leagues exist and matter, but not based on looks. For example if you have PHD, a farah who knows this and who dropped out of school would not approach her, Or if he knows she has a top notch job and he is a taxi driver with bad English he might think she is out of his league. thats my 2cents

I Think Somali women in Somalia has lost it completely and totally. Puja do you have evidence, or is it just based on your immense dislike of the action? Just wondering.
-
^^^^loool^ I have no idea why you bother. Dont let the Afro man get to you dear
-
^^^that is a problem, maybe she has split personality! she has certainly knows how to make people laugh. Her previous posts are comical!
-
loool. i had to bring this post back! it is all "lost-one" fault! lool well at least she ended up married to some dude who ages very quickly and who is somali by the sound of it, and now she is on next stage, "the right time to have kids"! lool. Damn people do grow with this SOL! She might come back her in 40years time talking about here childrens other half's (back to work)
-
^^^I’ll remember that dear, I say give you a couple more days/months and you would get so religious that you would no longer post on SOL (wasting time ) nor would you go out with any of your current "friends" unless you were heading to the mosque or a talk! You wait and see, that Hijab has a mind of its own sometimes! You will end up making a whole bunch of friends like you and become isolated from the rest of society. You might not, but thats what happened to few people i knew. Yes you can get one from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, any event they are holding, you can get one from the save Al Aqsa group, Or Jews for Justice, or Stop the Wall ( I think it is called) not to mention Stop the war coalition. If all else fails, i have many, so I’ll post you one inshallah.

otherwise misplaced lol! excuses, excuses... that piece of cloth prevents you from doing so much, it's a constant reminder "BEHAVE YOURSELF" and before you know it your neighbours will be telling their daughters to be more like you, not much for motivation but yeah...hijab rocks.. Too bad some people who wear it don't have any control or respect. As for the Neighbours, well they are the same people that probably speard all kind of talk about you a few months back, so it really would not matter what they say and think. In saying that people do change after covering, one of my friends last year covered, she changed so much it was scary in a good way. She does not talk to me anymore, but she loves her new life i hear. lool @end of sermon As for my graduation! It was great, it was funny, sad and strange, and the speeches were boring, and i did not fall over on stage . Everyone looked FAB  I end up in a red and black min dress with peep toe red platforms and sheer black leggings. It was cool!. I am so going hold my family to account for not attending, in fact I am going to remind them every time they ask me to do something I don't want to. Its true the gown covers mostly everything, wear beautiful shoes and take the price tags off at the bottom, the amount of women who walked on stage with bright white price label on the back of their shoes, flashing as they walked  All in all, it was good, ( we did not get to throw the hat! in the air!)

JAy: I think shaqalan baan kuudacaat (You have no job<< in english makes no sense!) Why are you in our ocean? sort out your little skinny, bone as*s self On a serious note, fat is very bad, it is unhealth. On reading this thread, i suddenly became aware of how many male *H**'s we have on SOL  for some odd reason i though everyone here were normal people
-
^^^Wrong if there was no men, women would not have to wear a hijab! and yes you are all beast, you even hit on those who wear the "jalibies" AKA tents! Some are more creative, the are pink! AAliyah416 thats dat whole point dear
-
^^^hmmm. I am worried about you dude! First I read something along the lines of you being married to a man who is going to leave you? Then you are going all the way from ___to somaliland to kick some dudes ***! Come on you expect me to believe that tell the truth!. Then you insult all black/short fat women!  May allah guide you ( !ha! its about time i say that to some one!) lool Say Ameen.

BTW, pay Ibstisaam no heed... she doesn't know shid from shinola. is that so

Why? its a business transaction, she wants wealth, which I will provide in exchange for a service. didn't you get the capitalist memo? "A$$, gas or cash, no one rides for free" You mean you pay for it?? a business transaction, a service, thats a very odd way of looking at things :rolleyes, is that what they call it these days, HOw do you know what she is anyway?

This is so funny. lool. JANN Ibtisam, you filthy westernised hypocrite, stop promoting prostitution (hence: your profile picture) and wear your Islamic clothing. Why are some Somali girls ashamed of their traditional clothing? What happened to the good old dirac? First of all i'm not going to go down to your level. As I said Religion is not a material, rather it a completion of actions and deeds, which one of them is wear modesty clothing. IT seems you are also a bit confused, a Dirac is not ISlamic, nor are tradition and ISlam the same thing, In fact they are contradiction. I Know that had you understood your religion, your attitude and interaction with people, politeness, manners would be much better. By the way how does a picture promote prostitution? I will show you one that does, If you wish. How do you judge you are better than me, because you wear a hijab, or even a hilabah, do you think Allah will judge you on your clothing alone dear? In any in any case, it is good to say something valuable of stay quite. Mantra: Hijab is overrated, but tell me, what does a hijab (a material do for someone who is otherwise so misplaced?) I Am aware of that hadith, thanks for the reminder. Water yeah it is a bit. I'm sticking to suit/ casual smart. Kafalah: The cream and brow skirt are looking good. Cheers

JB and MAn_In etc, you guys are pushing it too far here, seriously, there are limits in everything. This topic has gone AWOL. But there is a better one on this issue for anyone interested: here JAnna; I would not waste myself over you short term memory. I just found your little outburst hypocritical, considering some of the post's you have made, and to name but few, including this. *I ruined a marriage.* web page As well As supporting your friend here, not to mention your Love letter to GM web page Or does xishood selectively apply to other people! sorry hun I just don't see what makes you any better than these so called "shameless westernised Somali girls" cheers

Carter defends criticism of Israel Carter criticised Israel's building of the separation barrier in the West Bank Jimmy Carter, the ex-US president, has defended his criticisms of Israeli policy in his latest book, saying he hopes to erode the "impenetrable wall" that stops Americans from seeing the true plight of the Palestinian people. His book has been criticised by pro-Israeli groups and led to the resignation of Kenneth Stein, a Carter Centre fellow. Carter said he hoped Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid would provoke a debate on Israeli policy. Jewish groups have launched petitions criticising Carter's use of the word "apartheid" - the system of racial separation once used in South Africa - to describe Israel's treatment of the Palestinians. Carter said that debate had been stifled by the media and others. "It's almost a universal silence concerning anything that might be critical of current policies of the Israeli government," he said. "Worse than apartheid" Carter said he stands by his use of the "apartheid" and cited the fences, electric sensors and concrete slabs that Israel has built in the West Bank as an example of the divide. "It's almost a universal silence concerning anything that might be critical of current policies of the Israeli government." Jimmy Carter, former US president "I think it's worse, in many ways, than apartheid in South Africa," Carter said. The book follows the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, starting with Carter's 1977-1980 presidency and the Camp David peace accord he negotiated between Israel and Egypt. It blames Israel, the Palestinians, the US and many others, but it is most critical of Israel. Stein, an Emory University professor, sent a letter to Carter claiming the book was "one-sided" and "is not based on unvarnished analysis; it is replete with factual errors, copied materials not cited, superficialities, glaring omissions, and simply invented segments." "Tremendous intimidation" Carter, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, lamented the lack of discussion of Israeli policy in the US. "There's a tremendous intimidation in this country that has silenced our people. And it's not just individuals, it's not just folks who are running for office. It's the news media as well," he said. Carter, who has led efforts to monitor several elections in the Palestinian Territories since leaving office, said bringing peace to the Middle East is the most important commitment in his public life. ---------------------------------- Thank goodness for Jimmy Carter and Ted Kennedy! At least they are in a position to speak impartially and honestly. You can see the video, where the old man gets bullied here, it is very sad, seriously. http://www.mpacuk.org/content/view/3110/34/

^^^lool is that what lack of sleep does dear Peplow waan kaa yaab. If, you want to wear the Hijab stay at home. You are not in a muslim country. so much for you saying somalis are lost, i think you've been lost a while. what has her dress sense got to do with anything. If i walk on the street naked (which i'm entitled to do if i see fit) or i cover head to toe, no one can tell me to stay at home.
