Time is gold and there is nothing like the present, but at the same time, sometimes we can get unexpected things on top of where we were heading for in the first place, it might make things a bit complicated or it might take you another year or two to get there, but as long as you see yourself getting there. Some people are blessed and get everything, I can't say i'm a fan of those people, just plain hating on them right now

I can't believe people think rudy is funny, at least the crazy we all agree on, but one strange person though Allahuubaah is funny  Serenity: Busted! Devil lool @ crying a river, don't worry modesty shall vote for you, and Val will not note for you in a million years, she was just being polite

"Something worth having is worth working hard for"? I totally agree and thats what keeps me going when i feel like giving up. Can i just add that you will never please everyone, family or friends, no matter how hard you try, you will always just miss the mark so my best advise to you is do what you think is right at all times. If you are confused about what is right or there are a number of right things to do then go for the one that causes you the least problems and stress. Obviously life is not that simple and emotions are hard to control and their will always be an element of i want to please my mum/ dad/ husband/ friends etc, so set your self a goal, a target, something beyond all this that you can walk towards. cheers

With wearing the hijab comes certain conduct and responsibility, it is a symbol of Islam, and you are part of a collective, and your actions will be viewed as the actions of a Muslim women rather than the actions of an individual. Someone who does not wear a hijab can walk into a bar/ football game/ club etc, and they would be just another girl going about her business. If she wears a hijab and goes to the bar/ club/ making out with a guy on street etc, people will notice you because you have done something which is contradictor. It makes sense that if you choose to dress in a certain way, that your behaviour reflects it. It is true that the hijab is now just a piece of cloth that signifies nothing, I have seen hijab’s drinking/ smoking, at bars with friends/ smooching in public places etc. This is because the lack the understanding, are forced or simple just don't care. with regards to younger people I blame the parents who forced them to wear hijab’s without giving them any real understanding of why they are required to wear it, hence some of them don’t even realize it’s original value or the fact that it is a symbol. I noticed recently in London, there is a new trend of wearing caabaya with jeans, then tucking half of your caabya in, so that in reality you are just wearing jeans with a longer top and wearing your scarf backwards. NOW that I find plain odd! I think a lot of things have lost their meaning in the last few years ( another thing which really pisses me off is the Palestine scarf’s which people now wear as fashion and it is sold in places like topshop. I have to resist the urge to rip it off people who have no idea what it originally symbolized.) Should these people be judged based on this? No, if you care so much approach the person and try and speak with them otherwise you have no right or reason to complain.

Scarface:  I Don't know what kind of people you come across who speak in such terms about such things, clearly you are confused child who is controlled by over active hormones. Taking this into consideration I am going to ignore your poor excuse of a reply and the filth you spit in public forum read by old, young, religious, respectable people. It seems you think you are talking to a little hoodrat! Let me inform you that this is not the case. CAPISH. Hunguri, Maybe you are confused, or perhaps you can't read, or just few years behind. I did a little check ibtisaama has not posted since 2004, and her last post was about dropping out of school, which means she probably does not even remember how to use a computer anymore, with 5kids and a farah who sits at the marafish. I can therefore conclude that you are lying and was not invited to Ibtisaama's luuq. I'm sure her farah will be coming for you skinny hunguri ***.

Halkaa ayaan kaga baxay What a twisted way to think, People like you who view kids as some kind of products/ raw material used on mass by the industry should not be allowed to have any

^^Waaxaan iislaah, kaan yaar eey koorikar waaye the empty space iska faariso deeh untill i saw the name. ( if you can't read/ make sense of that, it is not my fault ) You know what i don't like, empty discussions and debates. Somali and Arab people debate till they are blue in the face with no end product, no action, no improvement, maaxad iska xiijin in that case, just shoosh and amus

IT is kind of strange having such big family, In Germany they are paying women to have children, can you believe it, because their populaion has decreased by almost 20% in the last few years, or so they say

looool Jac, double loool @dabshid ( you had a make over Cambarro, when you say men, do you mean all men? I studied Third World Politics and IR at uni, and most white guys were fine with me, but the African men was a different story, there no Somali’s in my course, so i have not tested it out Somali men yet. Some of the events i hold (which tent to be political and current affairs) when I invite somali girls, they always say they don't do politics, which always makes me feel like screaming in their face. So some women have no interest in it and the guys try make a mountain out of. Somali politics is a different story though, I think Women are too emotional, which in this is better/ an advantage because they are not bent up on this fifth oodwao owwee clan's, While guys consider loyalty, pride etc. Agreement can never be used to decided if she is good or not, in politics there is no right answer and we'll have different of opinion It is the ability to convince you that their option is also logical and a rational choice which is either better than yours or on the same level, all without offending you, the art of diplomacy.

Violet Said Why would anyone smoke Shisha? Does it even get you high? Just twirl around for a while, you'll feel high for a bit and guess what..it aint haram and it won't cost you a penny Twirl around on he spot, i.e. spin around, i.e. waareegaso You said Where's the fatwa that says it's halal? Violet said: LoL. You're pretty amusing..You want me to provide you with a fatwa on twirling around?? Please tell me you're kidding. Hence my comment about spinning around to feel dizzy and high for few seconds instead of smoking shisha. Again you are skim reading what I said and assume I was talking about a subject I was not.

Originally posted by ibtisam: My ealier comment was to your demand of proof that spinning around is hala. Indeed. I have asked for proof to what the poster claimed about smoking shisha not being haram; such a claim warrants a proof. It's not like smoking is a matter or an issue that slipped a ruling from fiqh. Again you are confusing me with the author of this thread. My comments had nothing to do with smoking shisha. Perhaps you should read what I wrote rather than making your own assumptions of what you think I said. Anyway I don't see the point of arguing backwards and forwards if it does not benefit either one of us, so I’ll just let it drop.

^^that was not what i was objecting to, i have no issue with what is written above. My ealier comment was to your demand of proof that spinning around is hala. Why must we play these games?? This is why i never visit the islam section, too many people talking different languages about different issues  All the same yeah i accept and i'm happy with that.

Add to my last post: "What Allah has made lawful in his Book is halal, and what He has forbidden is haram, and that concerning which He is silent is allowed as His favour." (19:64) The principle is that what is not explicitly prohibited as haram in the Quran and restricted, they should be allowed without restriction. You can also read Yusuf al-Qaradawi's book 'The Lawful and The Prohibited in Islam (Al-Hala wal Haram fil Islam). Happy?

^here we go again^ I was giving you the chance to reconsider your position. But seen as you did not but instead turn on the hint I gave you. YES I know the Basic Principles of determining what is haram. The ones I was interested in is that: •All that God has created and the benefits derived from them are for humanity’s use are permissible. Nothing is haram except what is forbidden by a sound and explicit nass (i.e., either a Qur’anic verse or a clear, authentic, and explicit sunna [practice or saying] of the Prophet, PBUH. You might also want to note that the sphere of forbidden things is very small, while that of permissible things is vast. Can I also point out that one of Islam’s beauties is that it forbids only that which is unnecessary, harmful, and discardable (useless and unwanted), while providing alternatives that are better and give greater ease and comfort, so don’t make things difficult for people and try and complicate things. p.s. there are other principles include that whatever leads to something that is forbidden is also forbidden. In this way, Islam intends to block all avenues leading to what is haram etc. p.s. Did you want the source. Dig it up yourself, or wait and I’ll dig it up for ya. cheers

CL asked to deliver the following rejection letter: Dear Capitan Xalane, I regret to inform you that you have been eliminated from further contention as Mr. Right or even Mr. Fall back plan. As you are probably aware, the competition was exceedingly tough and dozens of well-qualified candidates such as yourself also failed to make the final cut. I will, however, keep your name on file should an opening become available. So that you may find better success in your future romantic endeavors, please allow me to offer the following reasons you were disqualified from the competition. ___Your last name is objectionable. I can't imagine taking it, hyphenating it, or subjecting my children to it. ___Your first name is objectionable. It's just not something I can picture myself yelling out in a fit of passion. ___The fact that our dining experiences to date has left MY wallet a little lighter, and YOUR pants a little tighter! --You failed the 20 Question Rule, i.e., I asked you 20 questions about yourself before you asked me more than one about myself. ___Your constant posts shows me you have TOO much time on your hands! ___Your legs are skinnier than mine. ___You're too short. Any son that we produced would inevitably be beaten up repeatedly at recess. ___I find your inability to fix my car extraordinarily unappealing. ___The fact that your apartment has been condemned reveals an inherent slovenliness that I fear is unbreakable. ___The phrase "My Mother" has popped up far too often in conversation. ___You still live with your parents. ___Although I do enjoy the X-Files, I find your wardrobe of Star Trek uniforms a little disconcerting. ___Your frequent references to your ex-girlfriend lead me to suspect that you are some sort of psychotic stalker. ___Your ability to belch the alphabet is not a trait that I am seeking in a long-term partner. ___Your height is out of proportion to your weight. If you should however, happen to gain the necessary 17 vertical inches, please resubmit your application. ___Somehow I doubt those condoms I found in your overnight bag were really necessary for a successful business trip. And finally: ___I am out of your league, set your sights lower next time. Sincerely, CL
