  1. Skipper. hhhm Gabon you say, never looked into it, inshallah I will do. Faaraxo: That would be great, could you? Paragon but if we all avoide it, the information will not magical appear. But I know what you are saying. South Africa. hmmm. So I might join Yaabka Yaabkiis Red sea: show me the sources and I will.

  3. I think I better run for the hills now. The warrer guy with strange somali is back. Hey Welcome back. Can you please make an effort this time to try and write in english.
  4. Loool @ Xiin, Well he looked Somali’ish, but he could have been something else, and I did not ask. Pluz he was sitting next to me, I could not exactly eye him up probably without him noticing and getting the wrong idea, but from a glance he appeared East African and possible Somali.
  5. 15 days have already gone, in the last 15days you should put in extra effort in your ceebaadh. And don't forget to pay your fitrah on time.
  6. She wanted to give him the money, rather a Somali than anyone else. It reminds me, I was on the bus the other day reading a Islamic book. There was a Muslim brother sitting next to me reading the Quran ( I think he was Somali) anyway Auffur time came and we were still on the bus, so he gets out some dates ( a few in a little plastic bag) and breaks his fast, then he says to me; here break your fast, so I said no thank you, and he kept insisting. Then he offered me sweets, and I was so embarrassed because iskaa uu naastexanye his little dates, thinking miskeenga sooman and he just would not let it go, he kept saying "xaaram sister, you have to break your fast"! Afterwards I was thinking I should've just taken it and avoided the drama. I'm sure I change colours several times! lol
  7. adoonka saanka wayne How rude and offensive  yaab baadan that young somalis carry this forward
  8. He called the lady names too (i.e. bad Muslim and few more) again how come he can say as he wishes and I cannot! In fact, he goes "why don't you ask a real muslim women" I was like ouch oh no.... Farraxo: So push her off the deep end! that is not even logical, make her more of a sex symbol eh? Don’t forget her high heels either

^^I don't bother either, too much effort and I always forget and cry when I laugh (What! I laugh a lot dee!) (as for water proof, you cannot do wudu with it, so no point) The rest makes it seem like i'm wearign a mask (makes your face feel heavy! lol) I guess I'm just not use to it. Faarx loool. So you like superficial, insecure hijabi xalimos. ..... makes sense
  10. ^^^thats is odd, a good muslim women should not wear make up outside the house and temp men something else dear, something Islamic like your good bother Butt!

^^^loool you can say that again, Why do women do that, shave off the whole think and draw it on?? It always makes me wonder. Apparently in the UK we are spending far too much on make up and we are not getting any better looking! lol (that what they said on the show) we are not getting out monies worth.
  15. ^^HE is Pakistani Farah, you cannot agree with him and yet not see where I am coming from! we are saying the same thing.

^^^Why are you digging up the dead?? There was a show on TV last nyt, did not get to see the ending because of tarawiix but it was called "body hell" or something like that. Some women was given the challenge to leave the house without make up, and she was having kittens, it took her so long to leave the house because she was scared of showing her face. Lol I could not believe that there are people who are that worried about how they look. Make up is for special occasions and for people who can apply it without damaging their face, or stabbing themselves in the eye! lol
  17. ^^^Thanks Thierry I believe you are my new found best friend Will do inshallah. Thanks. congrats by the way, you must be over the moon. North: You better deliver my dear, Dahabshill is not a problem JAc: You better hurry, I read the WSP international and the Academy of peace and Development based in Hargisa have done research into this? Do they have anything published other than the short article (2pages) in Voices from Africa?
  18. Fine but show me the goodies first, I'd include SOL in my acknowledgement page, if you provide me with solid help.
  19. ^^^I asked for sources yaa north, not answers. What will I quote from the above posts in my project? So unhelpful somepeople here
  20. I'm here already, trying to make head or tails out of their search system lol. Nothing specific and recent in economic development. Probably because there has not been much. I'll keep look.
  21. ^^^^NO they get a discount, or even treated for free. How nice of him eh! lol. Lool @Zenobia, maandee iska seexo, there is nothing better than good old sleep!
  22. Hello hello. So now I’m student AGAIN, I have to pick a country for the next year. I can pick any country I want, but I have to do all my research and main project on that country. But I have a big big problem, you see there is no current updated literature or data for Somalia/ Somaliland/ Puntland. I’ve search all the e-journals, books etc. nothing, all I found hidden in the history section was history of Somali, the latest thing published that I can find on the area is from 2000. So maybe I’m searching in all the wrong places or not using the right key phrases or something. So can someone please give me a hand. I need at least four main recent books and about 10 Journal articles on any region in Somalia. Oh and the lastly, it should be on economic development. I told you it was hard P.s. No Googling articles please. In the meantime I’m thinking I might do Kenya if I cannot find enough starting ground work on back home. Let me tell you guys about my first lecture. Oh okay I’ll go and do in the student section. P.s.s. It is learning from scratch again, I have forgotten everything I think in one year.
  23. ^^^^Loool why do you have blessed water with you anyway?? ***waves at Zenobia, have you finished sleeping?
