W salam Juxa; Empire building requires me to find my way around, make contacts and get to know people, iska bilow maaha wa baasar uu bilow nooh>? adigu have you booked ur ticket?
-
Faheema its a side effect of something else, some of the people in Haregisa are like that- even iyga oo suuqa maraya bey isla haadlayan and faar fiqfiq
-
Ngonge he is still alive, lives not too far from you, he is called my Gosh :D Alpha jeecla wax kula haadla; IF that is the case; then As always I have more MONEY, contacts and relations then you; surely you will still come up short, did you not learn nothing from your previous experiences. Now run along;
-
JB maxaad la gosa caadin!!! its true. Alpha, I have enough help already. Nuune: If you meet JB, you will meet the whole of Haregisa in one short walk, everyone asaga aya kala waada. too much buuq and people for me really, so many names and faces to remember. Days later ba random people call your name on the street and you end up denying ever meeting them

Alpha, Hargeisa is even smaller than London, ha isku key dirin, this is my turf inadheer. boolshiid is a word left to us by our seamen may allah rest their soul. Faheema I'll do some research-
-
Faheem ninka iska reeb with the psycho boolshiid. IF you are serious, wixii that you dream of in every corner of the UK, I cant find a single one here!!! Shiid consider me 50% your customer 50% investor, I don't think I can live here without it.

Alpha, unlike some, JB has been most kind, whenever I get lost or chased by a tuug I call him and tell him off (like he is the tuugs friend) or ask for directions. All these years of making him laugh in SOL has paid off as good investment. Adigu iska useless baad tahey, I saw your little Ethiopian place too, looks dingy.
-
Are you going to fake an illness den and go home early
-
JB why are you inviting alcoholics? laguma faano that there is always a way!!! and you blame me for asking you about the tuugs the other day!!!

The Somali shilling has lost ALL looks and feel of money, it is so old and just crazy it is used anywhere still. In burco last week, carrying the Somali shilling is like carrying a bag of boo around. I'm so glad to hear they are changing, however I am worried about the implications for villages/ tuulos who wont get the new Somaliland currency and their old currency will be of no use. Burco traders from the other side will also run into some difficulties. This is not Silaanyos doing, this is the markets doing, the Somali shilling has reached the stage where it cannot be used at all, wye gogesa and the smell alone can kill you.

JB what do you mean ask Ibti? I got a job 12hrs after arriving Juxa, research baan waada, I am also trying to get to know the people but I am finding that I am as anti social in SL as I was in London. But it is looking good. Ila so hadley one day when you are at work late and start saving, SL is more expensive than I thought. Blessed, I stayed in a Hotel for 3nyts (moved out last nyt) (I didn't want to burden anyone to "looking after me" so ciidna uman sheeking I was there). I didst expect to find a job the next morning so it kinda threw me off and messed up my ME time, I walked passed the presidents house though and some of the wasaardo but no other tourist thing. Yiiks. Alhumdulilah though I'm sure I would've been bored by now. Bus rides are so funny, but evening ones are full of men and it makes me a little nerves. lol Juxa they need your kind of lawyers here  Blessed what we discussed should be done in Burco NOT Hargeisa, burco has untapped, untamed, not helped, do it yourself attitude which I so love as it can foster sustained progress and the need is more urgent in Burco for all services.

LOOOOOL I'm not sure about that, but I have noticed that because others sleep through the day, they are awake and fresh at 11pm, while I'm dead shut down by 7pm. In fact I went to sleep at 8.30pm last night, earliest ever for me I think!
-
^W salam; Hello Juxa, even a harder worker like here is still sleeping 4am UK time When I was in the UK, I thought starting work at 6am was nuts! but when the sun starts shining on your face at 5am, it seems perfectly natural. Still dont get the whole go home, sleep and come back in the afternoon thing though, if I go home I aint coming back

Alpha ha igu daab luumin! wa bila room service
-
Faheem, no inshallah not, but when I went to check out this morning, the only guy who can do the bill was a sleep so I had to leave my bags. Might pick them up after work or moving tomorrow. Did you hear what I need from you- paper work? I'll e-mail you cawa inshallah.

Blondy, touched a nerve have I? lol @ not meet u and public outrage, I've never cared much for either. Maybe local customs and ways of living is new to you, laakin anigu I've seen it all, and pointing out the obvious is not judging and I don't approve, it is a waste of talent and time.
-
:D Well done. I was wondering about this kid randomly the other day.

I must say Safari hotel is errrm clean, full of mosquito, beds as hard as a table, kitchen does not open till 7am (so I've been going work with no tea) :ekk: but it is a really nice and clean place. It is full of mostly men waadaads and I felt a little out of place but also safe. Charming people at the desk. Overall very good experience and I would stay there again. Summer time is eeerm a 30min wait for a waiter, 30mins wait for him to forget the order and come and ask you again and another 30mins for it to arrive and the bill arrives 10mins after that. However they have a good reer burco dude in management who can if I show my red teeth speedy it along a little. Mansoor hotel food is standard, I aint been to Ambassador yet. I have seen few westerners, but the locals are just as messed up, most of the guys are high on jaad (I see people chewing or buying qaad at 8am) and the women are very dressed up for walking on rocks/dusty roads. I have seen some nice, funny and hilarious locals and returnees and very welcoming elderly people. IT is calmer and less energy than Burco but people do still ask lots of questions.
