  1. ^^She may have know the questions and their order before hand, that is what I thought. So she does not have to digest, she say the answers she already learnt. Still impressive.
  2. Oh oh I remember. His nick name was shike Booqol soon (as in 100 fasts) allah yarxuum. Now I just have to remember his real name. Mashallah may allah reward him, I use to listen to his tapes as child, I can hear his voice in my head now...
  3. If I remember correctly, I heard it from Shike [ can’t remember his name will insert it later ] A Somali shike, he died years ago, use to live in Xamar and then Kenya. Use to focus on duca’s and tasfeer. He has a famous nickname, which apparently he was unaware of…damn I can’t remember his name! uuf It is the music and the shydan I tell ya! The Somali saying is Qaalbiga aayah kuu maadobanayah! But then once my teacher told me, sins leaves a black dot on your heart, until your heart is gone black and you turn away from the remembrance of Allah. There is a difference between listening to music iyo inaad soo boodbodi for a whole night!! << that is like going to a rave in the west. I listen to music, but I try to not make it dominate my day, otherwise, when you go to pray instead of Alhumdu, you will start singing the cord lines.
  4. They are only resurfacing because of the marginalization and harassment they are subject to or they observe. It does not matter whether you are guilty of an offense or not. The mere fact you are Muslims is enough to make you guilty. IF you are going to be treated like a criminal, you might as well act like one. If I get shifted today, my biggest and only regret is that I am innocent. They break so many people/ families and terrorize them for sometimes years without any prove of guilty. Anyone who sees this, unless they have a good Islamic backing will run straight back into the arms of groups who before attracted small numbers, but currently growing in numbers and popularity. Young people need Islamic education to show why these groups are not the alternative, but all they are getting is increasing survilance.
  5. I'm not going to sleep, why baad ii seexiin!!! Doing some revision, or trying to anyway. YEs but shaydaanku is attracted by music iyo kibrika, so wuu idinlaa boodbodi. Do you know that the aahulu Jaahaneem will have popular music played to them, which they will follow and it will lead to hell.
  6. Good or bad idea?? Will it do anything or will it be like the Muslim friends of labour/ Con. Just a name with no action. ----------------------- Scotland's first Muslim Police Association is being created in an attempt to encourage more Muslims to join and stay in the force. Strathclyde Police hopes the group will also help tackle Islamophobia and improve understanding of Islam. Pc Amar Shakoor, who was Scotland's first Muslim officer, said negativity had recently been directed towards the Muslim community. He said the association hoped to put Islam in a more positive light. "We want to highlight some of the positive things Islam can provide to the communities and not just the police services," he said. According to Pc Shakoor, since the 9/11 World Trade Centre Attack, London tube bombings and Glasgow Airport attempted bombings, Muslims have faced suspicion and increasing scrutiny. He said links were now more important than ever and one of the best ways to do this was to recruit more Muslim officers. Strathclyde Police, which has more than 7,000 officers, has only about 31 Muslim officers among its ranks. Earlier this year, Chief Constable Steve House met Muslim officers in England who had started a similar group. It has been quite successful, not only within the Muslim community, but also in tackling institutional issues within their own police forces. But a big part of what the Muslim Police Association here in Scotland hopes to achieve is to encourage young Scottish Muslims, who might not otherwise consider a career with the police, to see it is a viable option - somewhere they can move up the ladder and become part of the establishment. Chief Constable House said: "The formation of the Muslim Police Association is a positive step. "These are officers who are positive about seeing the police force as a career and want to use their association to reach out to Muslims. "They are not saying 'don't join the police it's a bad career move', they are saying look, come and join, we're happy with our career choice, come and join." However, some young Scottish Muslims were not sold on the idea of becoming officers. I met two young men at a chip shop in Pollokshields, a largely Muslim area of Glasgow. They said they would never join the police because their experiences with them had been largely negative. But they supported the idea of a Muslim Police Association, especially if it meant more Muslim officers patrolling the areas in which they live. One said: "For Muslims especially, police are not our best friends. If you get a few Muslim people patrolling the area it'd be a good thing, especially on Eid and stuff like that. "They think it's fights but really people are just celebrating. So a lot of stuff can be misinterpreted depending on who's patrolling the area." But getting more Muslim police officers in Muslim areas is easier said than done. There are only about 30,000 Muslims living in the Strathclyde region, making up just 1.5% of the population so the number of recruits per capita will always be small. But there is another issue at play. Chief Constable House says Muslim police officers are just that - police officers. And they do not want to be treated any differently or be forced to police only one community. BBC
  7. Sleeping with the enemy will not buy you protection. This man (and the other side kick) is the reason why CCTV was installed into East London Mosque & Regents park (including the women's section) Maac soonkor, I hope they send him to G-bay. I was getting sick of hearing his little creative stories about terrorist, wahabism, and HT. --------- Anti-terror police are questioning a man who claimed to have recruited British Muslims for al-Qaeda. Hassan Butt was arrested at Manchester Airport yesterday, where he was reportedly waiting for a flight to Lahore, Pakistan. Manchester-born Butt has spoken widely in the media about his past involvement with terrorist activity, which he says he has now renounced. He has previously claimed he recruited hundreds of fellow Muslims to fight for Osama bin Laden's terror network. In an interview last month, he said: "I started realising it's not as black and white - how could I justify killing these people because these people are living amongst us." A police spokesman said: "Greater Manchester Police's Counter Terrorism Unit arrested one person under the Terrorism Act on the afternoon of Friday May 9." He added: "Officers are currently searching three addresses with warrants under the Terrorism Act. "No armed officers were involved in the arrest." ITV
