JB: Taarawiix finishes at 11 (or there after) by the time I get home, and do what every I have to do, it is 1am, by the time I go to sleep it is 1.30-2am. Then my alarm goes off at 4.00am. She Not sleep after Fajar, it is too tempting not to tell myself 15mins or just 1hr. No self control with sleep when I'm tired.

Hello. The start of Ramadhan was the first day back at work for me, since I have not managed to get into work at normal time. I had these plans to work 7-2, but so far I've managed to get into work the earliest 10.30am. Today I arrived at 11am. I cannot take this waking up 2hrs after going to sleep, then I can't fall back to sleep for a while and as soon as I do my alarm goes off. I'm so tired, disturbed sleep is no good and now I can't do any work coz I'm still sleepy.

Originally posted by Mr. Gello - The proud Somali Man: I couldn’t agree more. I was playing once and the fire alarm rang. Due to the obsessive nature of Health and Safety and political correctness now a day, the mosque leaders disturbed people in their prayers, insisting that they should get out of their prayers. Well Gello, you was playing anyway, was you annoyed on the behalf for the ones who were praying?? MAlika Who is Sarah Shah?? I'm not surprised C4 showed it, but what surprises me is the Asian community who are Muslim who have since monday been cursing the Saudi and Wahabist. Yesterday I felt like shouting "would you chill, if it was not for those damn Arabs you would be worshipping 99 Gods and still Hindus" Damn the Arab influence but what would ISlam be without the Arabs in the UK? We’d just have the Al Muhajurun (it was an Asian thing hijacked by the Arab) and Mr. Choudary and the Hizbu Tarir. Asian people have done their fair share of damaging the Islamic image with their force marriages, killing girls and god knows what else. I’m seeing them trying to claim the high moral ground and blaming others. So tired of hearing: “We must distances ourselves against those views expressed and expose it as a Saudi ideology”. Like the Average joe cares if you moderate or extreme! I agree with Khary and Lily, Islam (and religion in general) will always be strange and appear extreme to this society. There is no point trying to prove YOU are different.

^^^In all honest (read reality mostly) and Islamicly the answer is a resounding "No" But sometimes it takes longer for the colours to flow and true intentions to emerge or develop. In saying that It depends how much time is invested and what that “friendship entails,” barriers and boundaries which will in the end determine how long people can be truly “friends.” And it is nearly always the fault of the guy. Lack of self control Laboxinniyood..hmm will look hm up.

CL: I've answered his questions as best as I could, but I know there are people more informed and better than me. Also I don't want to be his sole connection the Muslim community, I want him to experience being part of a community and have some brothers to bond with. I don't want to send him to a mosque by himself, and then any random Muslim to grab him and teach him questionable things. I would not do that to a Muslim, let alone a none-Muslim who has limited understanding. What is so hard to understand about a male-free month. As you know male and female relations are not allowed, so I want to limit my chatter and hanging with male friends. Therefore I am not going to meet him for Iftar or a chat. This is where the brothers come in and do their bit. Fahiye: Anyone else?

^^^WHO? and how do I identify them. He does not want to be preached, he wants to find his own way and pointed in the right general direction and convinced on his own. I don't want to send him to someone who will scream "you have no time, if you don't convert you are going to hell" AAliyah please anigan ii ducey. CL what is so funny?

My none-Muslim friend has been fasting yesterday and today, and reading the Quran for the last three weeks. His calls and txts are full of questions and more questions. I've done my best, but I’m trying to keep this month male free. Any of the boys (good practicing Muslims) willing to meet him and take him to the mosque, sit and answer his questions, have iftar with him??
-
^^^AAliyah, how many hrs u been fasting?? Aah... lying in Ramadhan is so so bad. I hear it can break ur fast. I'm thinking of telling a big fat lie. does the end ever justify the means?
-
Lily I don't eat them on normal days anyway. So it works for me. Ok, next time inshallah. CL, no, this one was only £5.
-
Lily, Hello I looked for u at the fundraising although I found Ms DD, u was no where. There is food in that list; Dates and Sambuse and fruits and cake and custad, what more do I need.
-
My perfect formula for the last few yrs is: Light Afuur (1 glass of water, 5 dates, 1 glass of juice, and if u need 1 coffee/tea, 2 sambus and one portion of fresh fruits or custad and cake.) Unlike BG Don't eat before going to sleep, have a glass of water(or more) after Tarawiix. Then For Suhoor, have a glass of Milk, 5 dates (or more) 1 glass of water and if u need cuppa. You will feel hungry, but can still function and your health will be fine. HEllo and Ramadan Mubarak people. Life back at work is okay. I've been listening to "Is Jesus God? Ahmed Deedat vs Anis Sorrosh"

ME: If you pay for my flight, I can go there, take pictures and then come back and tell you. So how about it??? DhulQarnayn, who is the donkey now toolow.

A year-and-a-half after the critically-acclaimed film Undercover Mosque was first screened, Dispatches goes undercover again to see whether extremist beliefs continue to be promoted in certain key British Muslim institutions. The film also investigates the role of the Saudi Arabian religious establishment in spreading a hard-line, fundamentalist Islamic ideology in the UK - the very ideology the Government claims to be tackling. A female reporter attends prayer meetings at an important British mosque which claims to be dedicated to moderation and dialogue with other faiths. She secretly films shocking sermons given to the women-only congregation in which female preachers recite extremist and intolerant beliefs. As hundreds of women and some children come to pray, a preacher calls for adulterers, homosexuals, women who act like men and Muslim converts to other faiths to be killed, saying: "Kill him, kill him. You have to kill him, you understand. This is Islam." Worshippers are repeatedly told they must lead separate lives from non-believers and not tolerate other religions. Christian teachings are described as "vile and disgusting, an abomination." And at private, invite-only prayer meetings linked to the mosque, the reporter films the leading preacher from the women's prayer circle issuing strict dictats on women's personal freedoms - decreeing they must not travel far without a male member of the family to escort them, and instructing them not to integrate with British society or work in a non-Islamic environment. In the same mosque, the reporter visits the bookshop and discovers books and DVDs still on sale, promoting extremist, anti-Semitic, misogynistic and intolerant messages. Unbelievers ('kuffaars') are described in one DVD as: "Evil, wicked, mischievous people - you can see the evil in their face". Whilst Jews, "have abominated, filthy, disgusting gross belief - their time will come like every other evil person's time will come." Moderate Muslims and Islamic academics tell Dispatches they reject and condemn these teachings. Dispatches traces the links between the teachings and materials at the mosque and the Saudi Arabian religious establishment, and examines the extent to which Saudi Arabia exports such teachings around the world through the funding of literature, schools, mosques and other organisations. Dispatches also interviews a former teacher at a Saudi-run faith school who describes how the official Saudi educational curriculum was taught in the school. He shows Dispatches official Saudi textbooks from the school which featured anti-Semitic and anti-Christian teachings. As part of the investigation, the undercover reporter also films inside a key Saudi-funded Muslim organisation which claims to promote tolerance and integration yet distributes literature which promotes intolerance for non-Muslims, an extreme version of Sharia law and teachings which support discrimination against women. The Government claims Saudi Arabia is its partner in tackling extremism, but a former Foreign Office Minister tells Dispatches he believes the Government should take a stronger line. The film also features interviews with Islamic academics who condemn these messages of intolerance and segregation and warn of the impact this version of Islam is having on British society. One imam at a leading university accuses the Saudi religious establishment of the: "distortion of Islam itself, the abuse and misuse of this great faith of mine and not only mine but of my children as well." C4 Website: My asian friends are going mad about Saudi influence on Islam. What is going on

Did anyone see the follow up of C4 previous documentary from last year where a journalist went undercover into certain Mosques in the country in order to expose extremist practices and preachers.
