^^^I'd rather that that a big old man, or a big old women. As punishment, I am going to leave you here by yourself and go and troll with She and co in the male free zone!

^^I was there for 9days [four days sitting at Hargisa hospital with my dad and occasionally annoying the staff by shadowing them] and 2days in car travelling to the miyi with just the driver pointing things out. The remaining days, I was looking around town and taking pictures and trying to see things before catching my flight out. SO NO stories I was always told, waaxas Somalinimo iyo Muslimnimo toon maah. Now I have this stupi*d thing where I don't expect certain things from somali people. I feel like crying out, but but you ARE somali!
-
^^^Yes, but I am still getting use to the idea, that SOMALI women and men and skin so low.
-
^^^Oi, I was a summer student!
-
^^^Xaasha, there would be a new crew. I'm already feeling too old for this place! Alhumdulilalh, how you doing and where you been?? I was wondering where you dropped off to the other day.
-
^^^And strange grape looking eye. Did anyone check his eye. Thierry, the Dijaal is at the stage where one of his days is like a year to us. It is said that he is currently in this world, in Israel and Palestine. When he reachs the same stage of time of us, [i.e. one of our day is a day in his life] he will emerge. I'll find you this really good link on this later today. This shike can freak the living day out of you.

Morning people. I think it is still a bit early for these stories. :eeew:  Nephy, I thought only white girls did that.

Maax laa sheegiy people

^^^LOOL, hey Nephy, If I was going to steal I would steal something worth stealing, that I could keep, control, mould, use, abuse and benefit from rather than a walking, talking, cheating dude I would be more likely to steal a baby so I don't have to have one myself, rather than a grown person Lol. SS, I thought maybe you had the wrong image of a sex therapist. I really don't get her passion or your interest. But I've learnt a lot from her books and little leaflets she leaves behind. I can diagnosis any problem now and know the cure too. I should be a trained nurse LOOOL, I would've done that but she does not sound reasonable, I don't want her to go off the deep end, I was at one point tempted to say, yes he is right here and he does not want you anymore, but I held myself back.
-
^^Erm did you tell him you googled him lol I guess not. Poor pokeman, I will leave it at that. Haye he is already going semi ga-ga miyi. You can tell us when it is all over and you get bored and we'll have a laugh Lol Can you get T-mobile to block calls from certain number? That would be great. I do feel sorry for her though, it is really sad that she has reduced herself to this.
-
I should've known you guys would laugh! Shiid. Sheh, I don't know who this dude is, as she won't say his name. I doubt I even know him. Chubacka it makes my skin crawl when I see women crying/ running after Farah, I get the urge to cure them, but if I don't see improvement then I get the urge to beat the stupidness out of them She tell us dee, what happened
-
^^^Never mind. Lool. It is amazing how people [women] can be so small minded sometimes. I am being terrorised by this girl, who has got into her little head that I somehow know her dude. She won’t say his name, so I don’t even know this a*sshole or I do I don't know which one. She keeps calling at all hrs saying “he is with you, isn’t he” and then proceeding to swear and shout and threaten to beat me with her girls. I'm like women it is 2am! I use to just put the phone down on her, but now I try to reason with her and trying to get her to leave this i*diot and find someone better and become secure and have some self worth rather than ringing strangers and chasing this dude. I think something is wrong with her, because after all the advise I give her, she turns around and says “you are just trying to get rid of me so you can have him” and then starts swearing again. Eeerg what a silly women. she just called, "have you seen him" I'm like "no, not unless he is hiding under some of my paper work!" I'm suprised she did not say "can you check under them to make sure" Naag waalan.
-
Ngonge Shhuuh! What is wrong with you old man. Old man where is CL I miss that mad women. Sayid good to see you out and about dear.
-
I think I thought the same thing as you chubacka, then I saw Lily responses and I was like "OH ahem that" lol
-
^^^Confidentiality, there is no paper trail, as long as she does not say so and so, this and that, she can talk/ discussed about all their issues. Everytime she gets a Muslim patient, she comes to me and says Ibti, I did not know Muslim men/ women this and that
-
^^Erm the NGO is very very scared of flying people via Mogadishu  Any other way?
-
^^^LOOOL @ Freaks behind closed doors. They are just not as open about it as SS Sheh I agree do tell us what happened?? SS: I will have to take your word for it Malika: SS you say a possibly a sex therapist, hmmm me kind of girl. Now what would have been the perks of that job?... ps.By the way your a breath of fresh air, I like your openness. Firstly there are no perks, it is erm how do I say this...most of the patients are men who have had prostate surgery of some sort, have urological problems, have some sort of addiction and old men who want to be humping like 19yr olds. The only women are ones with psychological problems and inability to let go or ones with structural problems. I know this because I share the floor with a sex therapist, and she comes to discuss her issues and have a laugh I also see her patients in the waiting room. No, no ,nope no perks as such. Well she says she likes the feeling that she is helping people enjoy themselves. SS You still want to be a sex therapist??

At least 21 people have been killed in a wave of coordinated car-bombings across northern Somalia. Most of the casualties were in Hargeisa, capital of the self-declared republic of Somaliland. The presidential palace, Ethiopian embassy and UN offices were all targeted, leaving at least 19 dead. Two suicide attackers also blew themselves up in the offices of the security services in the neighbouring region of Puntland, officials say. The attacks took place in Puntland's economic capital, Bosasso. "These were suicide attacks. Two car bombs destroyed two centres of the anti-terrorism unit. There are casualties but we have to investigate and we cannot give more information at the moment," Bile Mohamoud Qabowsade, an advisor to Puntland's president told the AFP news agency. Anxiety The presidents of Somaliland and Puntland have both condemned the attacks. Somaliland President Dahir Riyale Kahin says the government is ready to defend the country. The BBC's Jamal Abdi in Hargeisa says 28 people with serious injuries are being treated at the main hospital. Eight people were killed in the Ethiopian embassy, which is 50 metres from the BBC offices, our correpondent says. One car managed to get into the basement of the heavily fortified UNDP office before the explosives were detonated. Guards outside Somaliland's presidential palace opened fire on the attackers blocking it from entering the compound. There is a lot of anxiety around the city and cars have been blocked from approaching the three locations. There is no information about who was responsible for the three attacks, which took place within seven minutes of each other. But some suspect Islamist insurgents, given the coordinated nature of the bombings and the targeting of Ethiopia. The al-Shabaab group, which the US describes as a terrorist organisation, refuses to join peace talks until Ethiopian troops agree to leave Somalia. Ethiopia helped forces of the interim government oust Islamists from the capital, Mogadishu in 2006 - since when Islamists have staged regular attacks in the city. US ally The bombings come as regional leaders meet in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, to discuss the ongoing crisis in Somalia and the performance of the transitional federal government. These are the first suicide attacks in Somaliland and Puntland, which have escaped most of the instability seen in southern Somalia since the last effective national government was overthrown in 1991. Somaliland is a US ally in the fight against Islamist militants. On Tuesday, Ethiopian Foreign Minister Seyoum Mesfin made a rare criticism of the Somali government. "Somalia's problems are not security but political," Mr Seyoum said, blaming disputes between the country's leaders for the prolonged crisis. The transitional federal charter, which was adopted in 2004, expires next year when a constitution is supposed to be drafted and elections held. ^^ "Dating is a numbers game," she said. "I need to reach a large pool of guys." Seriously this is silly $3M for a man, shiid, she should just take the money and live in a cave with some aid tools and a heater. Malika: How you doing sis? Avoiding me these days are you?? Anyway our gullible and naive minds might take." I think she's pointed the problem naive and gullible, with or without a good husband she needs to find a cure. SS One I have thought about recently was whether we ladies living in diaspora have chosen our careers more out of financial security reasons than passion?...Do you feel like we get the opportunity to discover really what we are good at or passionate about or are we constantly keeping the welfare of our families and responsibility in the forefront when choosing our career path? Mine provides no security, financial or otherwise, but it is something I am passionate about. My family hate it though, I always get why can't you a doctor, nurse, midwife yad yad ya.

Mr Mphahlele became the University of Witwatersrand's first black professor Prominent South African academic and writer Es'kia Mphahlele has died at the age of 88. He was best known for his autobiography Down Second Avenue, telling of his life as a herdsman, teacher and journalist for the celebrated magazine Drum. It ended with his exile from apartheid South Africa in 1957. He returned 20 years later and became the University of Witwatersrand's first black professor and founded the school's African Literature Department. During his exile he spent time in Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia and France and gained a doctoral degree in the United States. In 2002, he set up the Es'kia Institute, a non-governmental organisation to nurture the arts and preserve African heritage. After the end of apartheid in 1994, former President Nelson Mandela awarded him the Order of the Southern Cross, one of the highest recognitions granted by the government. "African literature is an awakening," Mr Mphahlele wrote in 1983. "It represents moments of consciousness when we have been jolted into awareness of what Europe did to us and what we have been doing about this disinherited personality we now possess.”
