  1. Ibti, morgan has no place in somali politics. Siilaanyo, as a leader of a vast land, should. This should not cause burning. I strongly disagree with the scare tactic sister. Politicians use it all the time. A. Yusuf used it in a different way. It never works. Why people burn each other if a reasoble settlement engineered by one of thier own is achieved. Of course Siilaanyo should prudent to estimate the pulse of his people and what would be a swallowble deal for them. Either you are pulling my chains or you are very idealistic atheer.
  2. ^^^Waaxas waa too much trouble. I know when I need help and I know when I should ask for help. I'm not an idi*ot. True friendship is knowing your place and keeping your silence till lugu weyediyo. That is being supportive. Given automatically is like you mum and dad or whoever in your family who insist on stick their nose in when you get in trouble
  3. ^^Risk in human life is not the same as financial risk Xiin, you know that very well.I believe in calculated risks Ciyaar taa jooji, you are effectively arguing, lets burn the last pieces for something very far. I think it will just burn the pieces and send us back to the 1990s. P.s. Also Silaanyo being a SNM veteran, I would like to see how that goes down when he mixes with his former enemies. Can you imagin Morgan and Silaanyo trying to make something work
  4. ^^YEs I am , if Morgan is giving a high position or president in the coming Somali elections, it will be the best news for the SL supporters and their quest for distance.
  5. North, I met his wife by accident, does that count??
  6. AfricaOWn why are you so angry?? I wish you would stop underestimating your own people, why do you assume that they can be so easily manipulated with few rumours?? What you are arguing for, is so fragile that it will fall apart because of few posts and rumours online?? Of course Xiin like many others is against your movement, but people in your movement surely have more conviction than you are giving them credit for, have faith in them. They will make their choice regardless of what the diaspora community think or speculate on. Xiin; Why should he? Taken into consideration the Somali Political make up and the current situation, he will inevitable be loser in the end, possible at a enormous cost to him and people in the north.
  7. Xiin; imagin IF Siilaanyo switched now, he would be a laughing sock all over and he would lose all credibility and face both from northerners and southern, he would just be seen as an opportunist and he would lose at both ends. The truth is he is not going anywhere now, because there is no better alternative for him to switch to, why should he make such big scarifies only to insulted and demeaned or worse used as a stick to beat his own people. Maybe if Somalia politicians was offering better terms then simply trying to topple the peaceful regions or preoccupied with clan equations.
  8. Xiin, it is akin to being dragged in the mud haad, maybe another time, another try, but not haada. Pluz I was talking about Dahabshiil, he could not be a politician even if he wanted to.
  9. ^^You cannot have a private business if you from the Norther clans, you must be dragged through the mud.
  10. "All American presidents are the same and that we are a playground for their interests" Mashallah a Blessed cafe owner, not buying the hype that even the "educated" have swallowed.
  11. SS I think because I cannot relate to it, never been friends with a bunch of women who are all friends. I make friends with individuals, so such group behaviour seemed strange to me. I hate friends all up in my business, who invited them baal. They had a conference about their friend and then drove up to her house, interfering old farts soo maah, friends should be there when you ask and need, not camping outside your house and having meetings about you.
  12. ^^^No, if he does it would be for the wrong reason. I heard same thing
  13. ^^^No I got several jobs too, ruunta iska sheek and just “gabaad baad tahaye who has bad Somali”, so I'll speak for you
  14. SS I've seen it too, I tired to be girly one night and watched it, it was boring, but an interesting clash of modern and traditional values. I.e. if your husband cheats stay will him yad yad ya, and the girls screaming leave the bastrad and do your own thing rather living in his shadow. Nothing interesting other than that. Malika, hahah find another hobby, I banned certain someone from talking about men when we meet. SS, don't know why it died, for me I was flooding the general section with the Gaza appeal.
  15. LOOOOL @ I represent you. Maa tiidi. P.s. I am no longer a "smelly student" Did you miss my party, I sent you an invite.
  16. KK: I already said just lucky because there seems to be lack of evidence to enable victims to come forward. He was an undercover agent, so know one but him can know whose death he is responsible for. It is a shame really
  17. Don't be fooled by what Obama did today. If they close guantanamo, the US government is only going to move the people imprisoned to new sites that are "secret." They have talked about places in Europe, and multiple places in the US. This is not an end to torture or detaining people without evidence, it is merely a cover. Closing Guantanamo will satisfy many people, but those who protest guantanamo should keep a watchful eye on where the prisoners are being sent. They are not going to free all of those in the prison. I do not believe Obama is the man the western media portrays him to be. Watch his actions not his words, because his actions will be closely aligned with Bush's.
  18. ^^^Maybe if his crimes were smaller, I'm sure you've heared stories of what happened to those individuals from the northern clans who collaborated with the government. Even if the current “government” pardon them, yaa kaa ceelin all those people who lost individuals? I guess so are just lucky because there seems to be lack of evidence to enable victims to come forward.
  19. ^^^Xiino maa sasa ayaad kaa digii. okay then
  20. KK I don't speak in codes, when you say certain qabils do you mean within the northern qabilis?? Morgan is not wanted because of his Qabil, I doubt anyone cares what qabil he is (apart from his own) Sheekada hiisa if you think he is wanted because of qabil.
  21. Che realistically speaking Morgan could never walk around Hargisa let alone be president, that is because he is responsible for a lot more than others such as Riyaal. I know they say mass murder or genocide becomes statistics, and that is true in terms of trail but it is not true in terms of the number of enemies he has in that city or the number of people counting grievances. KK Okay waan kuu daafey
  22. KK: I said the FAMILIES of 1000s people would be louder than the families of 100people. I.e. More people, more families affected. Are you being stubborn for the sake of it now P.s. I already agree that a murder is a murder, regardless of whether they killed 1, 100 or 1000, in an ideal world, all the somali men who participated in the wars would be trailed. Every individual is important to their family and everyone deserves justice, but clearly this is not an ideal world, nor is Somalia/SL somewhere were ideals mean anything, hence the worse perpetrates are sought.
  23. I am just saying one murdered shouldn't be a president of a so-called country, while the same people of that so-called country are ranting for another murdered to be brought to justice...Ma wax xunbaa intaas? I just told you why, morgan killed many more hence more people want his head, the other not so many and not so openly. 1000s are louder than 100, not rocket science
  24. ^^^She must be because I can't see what else it could be. KK, it seems that you agree that one is worse than the other and should be judged accordingly.
