  1. I started writing a book... well being in Somaliland does strange things which force you start creating another world for the sake of sanity. I recent realized I have a lot to say, but now I have an issue- I want to be publish without being pulled into the rat races of book launches, book signing and all the other promotional madness. Is it still possible to be an autonomous and sell a few copies. :hmmmm it will probably stay in my computer till I upgrade and forget about. Good luck to the serious writers.
  2. This must be juxa doing!!!!! Oh well they are here now no point in sending them back.
  3. Buuxo I forbid you to put awesome and bacweyne in the same sentence- how a blood bac/ colourful bin bag can be classed as a dress is beyond me. But I have learn to cut, tuck, stitch, nice fitting dresses with multi-layers from such bag and have myself a few beautiful colourful tailored dresses. Does that count old friend :D

Nor I;m from a mother and father home either Che- so really I think both are a luxury- obviously one is more desirable than the other but this is not a perfect world and we all got to work with what ever we got given, Together at all cost harms everyone more.
  10. Trying to write a report- my head is spinning and it is already 12.30am. yiiiks

Blessed!!! I miss your sanity!! xxxx How about you and juxa pilot this initiative If it backfires dont blame me laakin- haada ayaan idiin sii dardar weriniya. Plus not far behind this question will be something along the line of would you marry your friends ex-husband/wife I mean where are the limits? Somalis would make an interesting subjects for studying under a microscope with all our fire and energy.

Why do people always say what about the kids??? WHAT about them? I dont get it- they still have a mum and a dad- who are both happy and successful, lets ask them- bet they prefer that to seeing their parents at each others throat every day! I dont think you should invest together in any join ventures- everyone should do his/her own thing, maryah uun ba la kala guranaya markaas.

You know juxa- you a say that as a joke, but I seriously think that it should be a lawful requirement- get it certified- bit like a re-newly of vows. Just to confirm that you still want to be there. Do you think we can get odyaal beled to approve that and implement it.

Narniah, it seemed like you were answering the points i mentioned; backstabbing, deceitful disloyal etc. Sorry if you weren't. I dont mind you stance- everyone is different, what one wont do, there is always another one who will gladly do it- the beauty and diversity of this world. Bottom line is if you can do it and not feel ashamed, embarrassed or slightly guilty, then what does it matter what anyone else thinks/ does. Unless they are still alive and they will come looking for you. Which reminds me- Juxa, do you women here wear niqabs so they either can ku bood thir husbands other wife or hide from her. Strangers thing ever! lol

Leave my Bengali husband alone, at least he wont leave for another women/ xalimo, if he does ever leave, it will be for money and power- who can compete with that eh. I tell him terrifying stories of what Somali women do to their straying husband- he dies many times hearing them- they range from being cooked alive, dosed with hot oil and their testicles chopped off. Everything is replaceable dear, mid kale oo bidar leh aya la hela, and then you can tell him what an ***** the last one was.

Narniah, you asked what we though of a hypothetical situation, now it looks like you dont like my hypothetical answer It is morally wack to marry your friend's husband/ wife [acquaintance] is a different boat. Your friend is another matter, hence the issues of loyalty and morality. Of course they deserve to be happy- and I will help them as much as I can- for the sake of my friend but you can help them without inheriting your friends shid. As for ISlam- well you didnt ask for a Islamic opinion (it is fine and hala)- Islam also allows for wives- but I dont and won't. But I find people only use the Islam excuses when they want to do something they may be judged for. Juxa , yes juxa, they rock for a while, then their dog starts to stray and they lose their marbles and act like a lunatic.

Lol wax walan, Loyalty is very important, you would need to be a hardheaded cold heart backstabbing twat That aside- if you did, you would be living with your friend as the 3rd person in your relationship- it will be like a never ending ghost presence. Even a simple question of "so how did you meet your husband/ wife" will bring about dark memories and thoughts. In saying that if and when I am dead- I dont care what or who he marries. Stay away from relatives and close friends- it is just not worth it. It is as bad as becoming a second wife to your friends husband!
  18. I thought it was real gold! shame on them if they give her fake gold- a real gold belt I insist. Yes lots of cash, but not too much- we dont want her to trade with the warlords on her return. And please dont offer her a husband!
  19. I saw a comment regarding some of the other similar: Inan Falastiin u ordaysaa iyo inan Sucuudiga u ordaysa oo sidii Zamzam saraawiil dhaadheer ku jufan loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollll, dadkii oo seexday bay line ka soo gaadheen. in KSA case it is certainly not due to lack of money for training. Juxa and Blessed- are u taking her some real gold?
  20. 4yrs/> I have only been hear for 1year and six months!!! yiiiks Thanks Juxa, hmmm sorry to hear that. I refuse to come back, until at least one of my friends visits me here!
  21. I know weeliba miid suuneysan ayaa igu dhaca not the usual bif baf fly by you guys get.
  22. Juxa- what ever happend to ur visits? your rubbish I have a flu
  23. I think the new areas are full of mosques, the old down town areas, have the same historic big mosques. New expansion areas have a small mosque in every corner with big speakers on the outside. Thanks, waking up at 2am, I'm try these last few days- ramdan is moving so fast already
  24. Abu Salman, thank you walalo, I thought as much. Now my only option is either to pray around their time- I keep thinking I will wake up later- after they finish, but have not managed it yet. OR I can risk going and telling them to turn the speakers internal only. I really like hearing the qiraah, until I moved to my new house, now I hear the athaan at least 5 times, and at any one point I can hear at least two alhumdu's been read, makes it impossible to do your own prayers. All those mosques and not a single women space. The sufi mosques picking up their chanting at 2am again.
  25. I call them all Atheero :D Honestly, they find me frightening , never had any problems, they dont bother me. Other than to tell me "oo gabadh ybaad tahey ee" eeer yeah I kind of figured that- thanks genius!
