Abwaan, What Dhib? As for your argument- a lady sang a love song Saying I iga rooriin- dont run away. This guy replied with this song- I ii raadsan. So if you are going to do a song- it must be one where she takes back all her old words and says- awalba wax la jeclaado maad aheyn I will leave you to your cajiish shuukansi. Blue, dont let me see you on a street corner singing some love song for a man who told you waad igu riyotee ha i raadsan! I will beat you with your own heels- taught love eh
-
Why is this news?! I thought it was a man before I read the words! lol

Roobloow sidaan layskuma ogeyn, Roorka jooji (oh my dear Rooble, that was not our plan, stop running away) Riyadaydu waa weyn tahee, roorka jooji (My dreams are big, stop running away) Raas baan lahaa wada dhistee, roorka jooji (I wanted us to be a family, stop running away) Rayn-Rayn ku wada joogaan lahaa, roorka jooji (prosperity and ever lasting bliss together, stop running away) No blue- he wants you to beg for a farah! shiid my skin hurts at the thought!! yiiiks.

Abwaan, come what classy self respecting women or girl is going to go after some dude who said all that he is saying. Even if she was dying, she will not say waxaad so qortey. She will say isla hanweyna, awalba waan kugu ciyarey War try again

This song is fab!!!! . Only the second Somali song that does not sing about some crazy love breaking their ribs and bones, slicing their liver and the heart stop beating!!! The first song is Kaltuun Bacaado and naftu kuma rabtee iska raali nooqo. For this reason, I forgive his pointless swaying and strange face expressions, must be short man syndrome or something. I do hope Somali music changes, I can't wait for the day someone makes some random song about normal life things, and not go cilimi boodari on us. Cant see him getting any girls after this song! hahah

Mooge Last I checked my uncles and awowe were not taking part in this comdey show- therefore we can discuss them when their own show starts next year. For now, Focus. FYI Mooge, SSC is hardly South dear  Duke; Focus adiguna, Somali politics is no longer only about those who walked on dead corpse, the term warlord now covers every power hungry politician including the welfare Diaspora contenders, yes even those with legitimate qulaification papers (the fakes ones iskaba ilow)

A man from Somaliland is running for the TOP POST - pRESIDEnCY
Ibtisam replied to Waranle_Warrior's topic in Politics
Oh the big bad Sheeko. Alright then. you need to take some gaint tallaabo into reality my friend. Somaliland version of not settling for sheek ciyaal is going at it alone- its the only way they can have a piece of the pie without all the chest beating of the clan system. Of course Somaliland and Somalilanders know that and only deluded ones waste money and time trying to compete for presidency and speaker in the Xamar. -

^^^^Are you serious?, I am sure you are joking, so I am going to let it slide. You are so cute- you think it is calculated based on inhabitants. hehehe -
I dont believe any sane and normal Somali would be eating a warabee. But if they did, it would not be any different to other cultures that people eat dogs, snakes and masagacley. Though Kismayo is on the coast, what happened to eating fish? and where are all their livestock. Clearly it is a matter of choice though.

Well it would be a little too easy if he becomes president and then decides to give his clansmen independency they seek. No ethnically Somalilander will be given any of the significant posts- and that will remain the case even if Somalia exists forever as on entity- just too many other bigger and louder clans to appease compared to the smaller clan hanging off the horn. ;d -
btw you didnt get back to me about my renewl. At this rate I am going to be stuck here for good! lol Why do you need paper work prepered and on your day off?- day off means day off dude. Hahaha at your list. I was doing even better in the UK walalo. Somaliland Im sleeping and kicking back (well most of the time anyway). You will have to tell me who that friend is- unless it is the big man I am guessing? He is not mocking you- he wants to get you a gold chain. Say thank you and then sale it.

-
last I know she moved to Kenya, she was done with HArgeysa
-
You are forgetting- I am at least 3 generations younger than you, therefore I am not of the generation that thought violence was misplaced affection- now say hello nicely!!!
-
All I keep reading is the SSC clan, the puntiland clan, the mars clan. For heaven sake- you are all one big clan, come sunday, you shall inshallah all play happy family. The warlord you insult today, you might have to support on sunday because he is the choosen one. So let it go and just wait and see.
-
NGonge why baad timiah ii jiid old man? Is that the Somali manly way of saying I miss you?? Salam Juxa and jumca mubarak.

Abu the Voip thing already woks fine. Somtel can give you a USA or UK number, you pay subscription fee and recieve free calls. Only problem is now they need to extend it so that you can also call them for free. It is much easier to move around alone rather dragging a family around and messing up their life if things go a little wrong. Also pretty soon you will worry about schools and stability for them. Not the same as being a lone backpacker. Growegal wlc bk

I heard it was faroole, who was mad she did not invite him to her gig. I heard he did the same to Saado Cali. Yep- Btw if anyone deserve to be beaten, it is 90% of Somali men, starting with most of the ones on this forum. But since you are all walking around chatting breeez, she should be able to do the same with her pretty self and sing for whoever she wants- like any other singer. Somali leaders have long sang politically and been paid for treason- while it was their responsibility to protect their people. Her only responsibility is to her views and her money. Speedy recovery.

Oh yeah you are in the city noW!!!! lol well dont forget to breath lady. Edit: Never mind- shid happens. Salman, no not in health or export, more locally focused. I know you wont steal.

Celebrating Somali culture at Hargeisa’s International Book Fair
Ibtisam replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in General
http://mary-harper.blogspot.com/2012/07/the-hargeisa-international-book-fair.html The Hargeisa International Book Fair is far more than a book fair. It is now in its fifth year running and hosts authors, poets, musicians, film-makers, artists, playwrights, actors and circus performers, both Somali and non-Somali. The book fair is being held in the Working Men's Club in central Hargeisa, capital of Somaliland which declared itself independent from the rest of Somalia in 1991. The territory has built itself up from the rubble of war, has a growing economy and a functioning democracy. The earth was sprayed with water from this donkey cart to stop things getting too dusty The book fair is the brainchild of Jama Musse Jama, a Somali who fled to Italy during the civil war which broke out in the late 1980s, has lurched through various incarnations and is still not over today. Jama lives in the Italian town of Pisa where he has a publishing house, a vibrant website and a family. He is the author of several books. He was until recently a lecturer in Mathematics at Pisa University. Now he works as a computer scientist. Oh, and he invented a computer game based on a traditional Somali board game called Shax. Jama Musse Jama welcomes us to the book fair Ayan Mahamoud is the other force behind the book fair. She organises numerous Somali events in the UK and elsewhere, including London's Somali Week. Quman Akli has been working day and night to make sure the book fair runs smoothly. Here she is carrying a lute for Hudaydi, also known as the King of the Somali lute: There are stalls selling books, paintings, photographs, handicrafts, clothes, cake and drinks. Mini-libraries have been set up so people can borrow books and read them in a specially designated seating area. This man bought my book Locally published books for sale -
