I heard CL fell in love, so I am sending her this poem. All my life, I’ve been careful not to get caught in a rainstorm, or fall in love. Both equally as messy. Often equipping myself with a sturdy black umbrella I like to call cynicism. Firm and unchanging it has never let me down over the years. But today, In a critical moment, it became fragmentation. Letting my feelings for you fall like downpour without warning. Heavy Intense And leaving me wet and clingy. Honest advice, never trust a dollar store umbrella. Or believe that you can control who, how and when you fall in love. But now that I have gotten drenched. Dripping of raw emotions. I admit it’s not so bad. And surely when it rains, it pours But when it’s done pouring the sun must come up eventually. And when it does, It doesn’t take a whole day to recognize sunshine. Twisted Elegance

Originally posted by Thierry.: Lol stop player hating and pass the digits, I could be the muse for her third book. Ceeb ey tacaal, the local shike claiming to be a player. Passing numbers wa xaram caleek. but you can review her book on Google and Amazon and help her sale as an apology.

^^^I heard about that, I thought it was Somali story exaggerated and sprinkled with sauce. Did they really have Pistols. And what did the white people know about what clan is from Xaradheere and where they hang out. This is ridiculous, somali ba uu sheeg sheegtey.

Thierry I cannot help you chat her up you know, you have to work on her yourself, aniguba waan shukansadey.

^^^Ngonge everything has an end results but you have to be willing to work at it- and sometimes results take a bit longer as you have to change the mindset of people. I remember a few years ago you use to tell me to stop wasting my time with this or that, and I've seen results for some of those same campaigns you use to mock. In any case, results is not given in this situation, those boys will hold them people till they get paid, by who or what they get paid is beside the point. No payment, they are not coming... P.s. You despair at the waste or time and energy, I despair at the likes of you, neither who use their time nor their energy for anything, not trying is automatic failure. P.s.s Adiga and lazy are having your own discussion, it does not include me, so ask her what you want, don't use me to start convo with her.

The Police in Dubai probably got paid and were in on it. 11 sent to kill one! Hamas need to close the leak in their organisation, at least the top guys. They have lost many of their key members.

^^^ It is what he said about her book more like. I think you do @ theirry! I am suprised at the Somali words in this book, and all spelt strange- you think my somali writing is bad This book will go over the head of a none-somali. Far too many Somali in there and I'm not even far into the book. As for where she is from, her clan appears within the first chapter.

Loool @ kiilo musmaar ah laq. Ngonge as you have no part in either campaign waxaku wa kakac. CL, I'm not being negative, I just said it is sad we cannot unite behind so nicely for our own personal problems and issues, if you want to take that negatively that is really nothing I can do to help dear. Our community is like those beautiful man/women who dress up to go outside, when you see them you think they come from clean, nice palaces, but if you ever seen their homes, they have dog boo right in the middle of the living room and the roof has fallen in. Or the one who dresses up design clothing but their kids starving and sleep on the floor. We need to address our own problems and things that impact on us daily rather than diversifying what little resource we had for this. Why you fail to understand that all I am saying is the priority should be us because it is us that is important. It is like the family of the couple campaigning for the young Somali guy in Holland mental institution and forgetting their people. Also this whole saga is the colonial mentality of nika caad iska diisa, I assure you if they were British black the attitude would be different. In any case I'm not supporting the campaign nor I'm harming it, but I just shared my own views on it. Ngonge all I can say is since we as the Somali community took ownership and responsibilities for this problem, I hope as you say it, the end results can be controlled- last thing we need is for them to die.

Johnny what possible higher discussion could there be about this?? This guy is not a hero, he is just an individual with an opinion and I would hear him out, much like I’ve been hear Lazy out, but at the end of the day he is one of the following: 1) A reformist Muslim- as someone who is trying be a die hard salafi wahabi I have issues with them. but there are a few that I find interesting and like- I don’t know enough about him, but I would’ve liked to read what he had to say about the two things I mentioned above OR 2) Attention seeking, booty licking, money seeking media w*o**e. 3) He is a front for CIA, M15, Interpol or one agency or another and they use him to draw out extremist, we have a few in the UK. As I said this is the first I heard of him, so can’t say one way or the other, and to be honest I don’t care really, the man is safe- he even has body guards, has food, money and some sort of influence, as far as I am concerned he has it good. As for the Burqa, I already challenged Lazy and found out there is no higher level in that subject, just her feelings and emotions. I assume from her sliences in that thread that she took my advise and is out meeting some burqa wearing women. I know that lazy will one day grow out of her hate for the Burqa and find a new thing to hate on, simple because her hate and dislike is not based on anything solid. If she ever makes it to the UK I plan on dragging her around and making her party with the niqabis.

As Muslims, (in the UK anyway) large majority of us are under surveillance and some face imprisonment for 90days without charge and those who have been charged and wait years for trial only for the prosecutors to drop the case. In the last few years laws have been modified and change to make it more targeted and focused on the community. People get arrested not for saying things like my loyalties are with Islam first and foremost or if I had the choice I'd live under sh’irah. So you are wrong and clearly have not been following world events if you think Muslims get away with stuff- G-Bay is and was not full of white politicians, but Muslims, none of them have committed an actual crime or terrorised anyone- aside from the three that were trialed and convicted already. The rest of the detainees are just guilty of something they said, wrote, preached and being in one country or another. So yes this guy is guilty of hate crime and promoting hatred against the Muslims. He should be held accountable, whether we as Muslims decide to rehabilitate him because he is high profile (using him as tool) by showing mercy is a different case altogether.

This article belongs in the qashin.

^^^Backlash for the community, there is more likely to be a backlash about the benefit fraud dude rather than this CL. That is the bigger picture. The bigger picture is that we have turned this into a massive issue and it does not earn us any brownie points, and we have rolled all our problems aside and apologiesed for something we have no control over. IF and I know it is unlikely but IF they kill the couple, do you think it would matter if we were against it or not. The media have a very short memory and we are free game- it will be open season. Lol, you are funny Ngonge, Aside from our inability to unit for anything else, Somalis in the UK have never bothered to do anything about the bashing they get in the media, even small media campaigns that need less than 100 people to make a difference we have not managed. Does it not bother you that the one time we are able to do or say anything about something that is not even for our well being. Does it not bother you that these two individuals take precedents over a whole country which is standing on its head and has been for 20yrs. Some organizations were talking about raising money from the community for the couple’s family. Really? as if we don't have enough starving people of our own. As for the demo, you would never have heard of it, even if it was on your door step. The couple will be free regardless of what drums we beat or not, if Binyum Mohammed made it out of the US and Gbay because of demos and pressure I assure you that these will too.

I read four pages so far.

Here we go again. The train is never late. Anaga aya walaan out of the lot, leave Johnny and Lazy to do their bashing. Wax uu sheego wuu uga tara you know. What I do interesting though is this part …; he opposes religious radicalism and promotes a “republican Islam” focused on France; he is ecumenical; and he favors dialogue with France’s Jews. And then later in the article French Islam is dominated by the original nationalities of adherents, who remain close to their embassies, and to political trends imported from the Middle East. “When you have an Islam divided into trends, manipulated by foreign states, you have an Islam of nationalists,” he said. “But here most Muslims don’t want that; they wish to have an Islam of France, adapted to their lives, and an imam whose sermons are in accordance with their own problems.” an Islam of France would basically just replace the original cultural/ nationalities with French culture. I think he fails to grasp that in France they will always be strangers. Look at the France black population who have tried to blend in so hard yet much like the Muslims remain marginalized. It would be interesting to see how and what ideas if any he has for his community aside from the Burqa bashing.

CL it was clan lines, I was there when they split right down the middle between Wed-Friday the coalition fell apart and the major clan split off to do their own one the following weekend, which they had to cancel in the end because of the snow. I agree stup1dity did win. I'm not missing the point, I get it, we are showing we are humans, but how often must I read "we as the Somali community in the UK are sorry and deeply shocked yad yad ya"
-
^^It is not good PR because they are dragging the issue out in the media for weeks now as each community center wants their bit, and Somali problem becoming a priates issues is not what we need. Ngonge: Nevertheless I don't see why it takes the whole community who are otherwise useless come out in full force for an issue that is easy enough to slove. Pay the damn money instead of paying the oldies here and the couple are free to go. Much do about nothing, It just annoys me to no end. And I'm pissed off coz everyone I've ever worked with kept calling me for a demo or meeting or type this or the other. Get lost!.
-
^^Really, PR is fine but to use all your resources?, a small press release would do to state your position. They've been falling over each others feet to get on the news and papers to speak of this issue, not one of them has used the opportunity to highlight the multiple problems that people face back home. Each one with his bad English (Where on earth are the ones who speak English?)just says this is very bad and we are against it, we are working to end this (doing what I'm not sure) and we are sorry (unless they are getting kick backs from the priates I hate the apologist) for this.

It pisses me off that Somalis are spending more time united for these couple than they have ever been for anything Somali. Even the demo for the Somali students in the bomb spilt into clan lines and who should have the organizing “honor/ responsibility” depending on what clan lost the most. In the end they had one cancelled demo and one for a specific clan. Stupi*dness and a half. They should spend more or their time and energy on their falling apart community and the hopeless situation of their people. That does not mean I don’t have sympathy for the couple and their family, but they are only two individuals and therefore insignificant in the face of the problems back home. I guess because they are white their life’s are more important and worth more than the other innocent Somalis. Very very angry iyo baad weliba.
