A natural outcome, of failure of Marxism. US succeeds in its effort of containing the Soviet Union. 1993 Agreement signed between Israel and the PLO in Washington. 1994 Hebron Mosque Massacre. Jewish settler kills Muslims, while they were praying. Israel and Jordan sign agreement, giving up Muslims’ rights over their lands. 1996 Israel attacks Lebanon to delay the implementation of its agreement with the PLO. Israel opens Al-Aqsa tunnel, in another attempt to delay the agreement. Talibans take over in Afghanistan. Another distorted version of Islam is presented to the World. We need the Khilafah Now! Prophet Muhammad (saaw) said, "There will be Nabuwa with Rehma (prophethood with Mercy). The there will be Khilafah with Ba’yah (pledge). Then Allah will change it when He wishes. Then there will be Mulkan ‘Adoodan (Rule by force). Then Allah will change it when He wishes. Then there will be Mulkan Jabriya (against people’s will). Then Allah will change it when He wishes. Then there will be Khilafah Ala Minhajin Nabuwa (on the path of prophethood). The earth and the sky will bestow their treasures." (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal)

  3. maintaing your system by:Ahmed M. Dirie webdefied http://www.webdefied.com June 01, 2002 Maintaining a computer system to perform at it's best may seem like a hard task to do. But when done properly, the results are astonishing. Though most of you use your computer only for assignments, or games, or just to browse the net, those simple tasks such as browsing the net can be real time consuming with an un-maintained computer. Running regular virus checks can be one thing. But that doesn't help in enhancing its performance and increasing its speed. This however is a good thing. To keep your system at it's level best, you want to delete your temporary internet files and windows temp files. But this is not all. Running a scandisk regularly and a disk defragment is what helps its performance. When running a scandisk as well as a defrag, you want to do this from Safe Mode Windows. Safe Mode windows is basically just windows with no extra programs running in the background. This mode is good when running diagnostics on your system. To get into Safe Mode Windows, perform the following steps. 1- Shut off your computer. 2- Turn it on, and continually press on the F8 key in 1 second intervals. 3- The windows options menu should come up shortly after. 4- Choose the Safe Mode Windows Option, this normally is option 3. 5- Once selecting it, press the enter key. Note: If this is your first time performing both the scandisk and the defrag, then do not be surprised if this takes a little over 3 hours. The scandisk should take roughly 1.5 hours as well as the defrag. 6- Start by clicking on the Start menu. 7- Choose programs, then accessories, and system tools. 8- From system tools, the first application you want to run is Scan Disk. 9- Once it is open, make sure you highlight C: Drive, and choose the thorough option. 10- Put a checkmark beside "Automatically Fix Errors", and press start when you are ready. This will take a while, and you only need to run this at least once a month. Anytime between, just choose the standard mode of scandisk which takes not more than three minutes. Upon completion of scandisk, close it down. To run Disk Defragmenter, follow the steps below. 1- Perform steps 6-7. 2- Choose Disk Defragmenter. 3- Press OK on the next screen, and it should start to defrag your system. This should complete in 1.5 hours, if not more. This all depends on how fragmented your computer is. In other words, how messed up your system is. The first time can be long and gruesome, but if you run this once or twice a week, it should not take more than 10 - 20 minutes. Once you've completed the above. You can shut down the computer. Restart it the normal way (do not press F8). Once in windows, you can clean out your temp files as follows. 1- Click on Start, and select Programs. 2- Select Accessories, System Tools, the click on Disk Cleanup. (On systems with Win98+) 3- It should prompt you if you want to scan C: (C Drive). Press OK. 4- When it is complete, it will show you a report of what folders need to be cleaned. 5- Put a check mark beside each folder, and continue from there. 6- Once complete, you may close it down unless it does so automatically. Now you have successfully run a General Maintenance on your system. Notice any difference?

  5. anti-virus...what's the next step? by: Ahmed M. Dirie Webdefied http://www.webdefied.com June 03, 2002 The common misunderstanding of anti-virus software is that once you install it…you're worry free. No more viruses. I beg to differ. Once you purchase anti-virus software, it works to protect you from existing viruses. According to our friends at Symantec, to date, they have detected 61626 viruses. That's a lot of viruses to be protected from. Have you thought of the viruses that are being developed everyday? There are at least 16 new viruses each new day. So a month after your last update, there are already 500 viruses out to get to your system. What you have to understand is how viruses work. Viruses reproduce at an astonishing rate through various means. This all depends on the virus. There are several types of viruses. There are the email viruses, traditional viruses, trojan horses, and the worst so far in the news, the malicious worm virus. These viruses all have a specific function. The email virus is passed around through email. Once a system is infected with an email virus, it replicates itself in other emails, and emails the virus to all the contacts in the email application. A traditional virus, such as macro viruses attaches to applications such as Excel and other spreadsheet programs. Once running, the virus is activated and runs to attach to other applications to perform certain function. Trojans work in several ways. Hackers use trojan horses to monitor activities on host computers. Also, Trojans have the ability to destroy all the information on your computer. The worst type of virus so far, which has made news headline on a regular basis is the worm virus. It attacks security holes on NT systems, and Servers. Upon penetrating a system with a security hole, it scans the network for other systems with a similar security hole and copies itself to that system. It works to direct people to other sites, and changes complete web servers to indicate various messages on a website. So, you ask yourself, how do you stay protected from viruses? Well, to start with, there are various anti-virus applications which you can choose to protect your system. The only important factor that will keep your system protected is to constantly update your virus definitions. This keeps the anti-virus application up to date to protect you from newer viruses as well as those currently protected. A few of the more trusted names have a feature that allows your system to automatically update its definition files when you're online. The techs at McAfee have written up detection and prevention tips that will help you stay clear of viruses which you will find below. anti-virus tips (from mcafee) Virus Detection and Prevention Tips 1. Do not open any files attached to an email from an unknown, suspicious or untrustworthy source. 2. Do not open any files attached to an email unless you know what it is, even if it appears to come from a dear friend or someone you know. Some viruses can replicate themselves and spread through email. Better be safe than sorry and confirm that they really sent it. 3. Do not open any files attached to an email if the subject line is questionable or unexpected. If the need to do so is there always save the file to your hard drive before doing so. 4. Delete chain emails and junk email. Do not forward or reply to any to them. These types of email are considered spam, which is unsolicited, intrusive mail that clogs up the network. 5. Do not download any files from strangers. 6. Exercise caution when downloading files from the Internet. Ensure that the source is a legitimate and reputable one. Verify that an anti-virus program checks the files on the download site. If you're uncertain, don't download the file at all or download the file to a floppy and test it with your own anti-virus software. 7. Update your anti-virus software regularly. Over 500 viruses are discovered each month, so you'll want to be protected. These updates should be at the least the products virus signature files. You may also need to update the product's scanning engine as well. 8. Back up your files on a regular basis. If a virus destroys your files, at least you can replace them with your back-up copy. You should store your backup copy in a separate location from your work files, one that is preferably not on your computer. 9. When in doubt, always err on the side of caution and do not open, download, or execute any files or email attachments. Not executing is the more important of these caveats. Check with your product vendors for updates which include those for your operating system web browser, and email . One example is the security site section of Microsoft located at http://www.microsoft.com/security. 10. If you are not sure about a potential virus related situation, please visit the Contact Avert site for more information.
