I've read the book and wasn't impressed. I was expecting to read on Siyaad's life, his youth, his career development and his life as President but was dismayed to find the book was practically a brief history of Somalia during his reign, not his biography. And oh yeah, it's heavily biased.

Whether they're a nomad, a farmer or fisherman, they're all Somali. Besides, the nomadic culture = somali culture. As for the dialects, meh.
