  5. lol Xaaji. WHat's wrong with NFD folks sxb? Have we mixed with the Oromo too much? You know a Pirate relative from Garowe went with us the last time to Garissa and he was really apprehensive about the trip. He's a dark fellow and he was expecting to stick out in a see of BigFoots (he was used to the ones in Kilinka 5aad even though I think this stereotype is exaggerated). Boy was he in for a shock when he got there. Waxaa ka horyimi wax wada gaagaaban oo sidiisa u wada madow. He still laughs about it till this day.

For some reason, in Europe there are different ethnicities but in AFrica there are "tribes" kuwaas la bahdilayne weli waxey ku leeyihiin my tribe this.. like the Kenyans. They don't realise the Europeans meant it to be derogatory.
  7. I've been writing non-stop for the past few days, now I have an indent on my forefinger where I've been gripping the pen.

This is inappropriate. People can make mistakes (stealing national archives, destroying national statues for scrap metal, destroying hospitals, destroying street lights etc.) but as long as they have seen the light it's ok In all seriousness though, most of the infrastructure was destroyed through war although mass scale looting did take place. They should not let the government anywhere near this mosque. These are the people that paint over marble and place cheap tiles over everything for goodness sake!

It is truly something to be disgusted by, Seeing grown men calling openly for wars and destruction while their own children are living in comfort in the West. Universal TV has an ethical responsibility to wisely choose it's it's debaters. It is fast becoming a horrible version of Rawanda-1994 radiostation that spreads hate. Whats worse or depressing to see how quickly the hatred from the past comes to the surface. Soomaaliya has long bumpy way to go. Ma aragtey. It was shocking what some of the guests were saying even if they weren't serious. Stuff like that adds fuel to the fire.
  12. Carafaat, I found a really good movie for your next movie night: In the house A sixteen-year-old boy insinuates himself into the house of a fellow student from his literature class and writes about it in essays for his French teacher. Faced with this gifted and unusual pupil, the teacher rediscovers his enthusiasm for his work, but the boy's intrusion will unleash a series of uncontrollable events.
  13. Cmbuulo, c'mon let's not be disingenuous. You can disagree but We live from Gaalkacyo to the Kenyan border isn't going to wash.

Yes I too doubted, but I didn't throw a tantrum and curse everything Somali (from Somalia) when he explained himself like you did. And you're still at it now. Take a breath waryaa, don't do anything irrational in your rage.

It's there for all to see how Chimera put you in your place only for you to come up with lame excuses like: Poor me for not following that derelict and God forsaken land that I've nothing but cultural affiliation with. Sore loser indeed

A 30 year old in a teenage body, seen ku dheh!. Sheekada aad isku dhiibte anaga hanugu marin, wiilyahow. You've become too emotional sxb calm down. OdaySomali;961491 wrote: I was reading the other day an (unconvincing) argument that said that in Islamic countries social, economic and legal policy should always be designed so as to better the position of men and boys, whose standing and position in society, it was argued, should be improved and advanced before that of women. The reasoning was that this should be done because men are or would be the 'leaders' of society and the 'heads of households' and they need to be enabled and empowered - not undermined - in fulfilling those roles. The implementation of that sort of thinking would mean: - Boys and men should be prioritised for receiving education, health care, job creation and government assistance. - NGO's who help women were particularly critisised... they should help men first, it was argued. etc. What do folks here make of that? Then they have lied about the religion of Allah and anyone who's had even basic Islamic education will know how wrong this is.
