Xaaji xunjuf mararka qaar wuu iska hadlaa. What can these poor people do? They are at the mercy of primitives with no fibre of decency in their person. The oppression was so widespread I could say nearly every family in the area was affected one way or another. My mum remembers that day Mohamed Adow describes from his childhood when everyone was running for their lives. Adoomada came to an old neighbour of my mother's family and told him to go into his hut (he lived in a nomadic aqal). They then sprinkled diesel all over the hut and set a match to it. Amarkii Ilaahey the aqal would not just catch fire. They sprinkled more diesel and still nothing. They then yanked him out, beating him with the bottom of their rifles saying he was a magician (falfalle). After they beat him they made him lie in the middle of the road and rode one of their armoured cars over him. Alla ha u naxariistee he died instantly.

Thanks for the link Cadale. You guys finally see what we've been going through for the last 50 years. PS: At 3:05 you get to see the suuq, Haatu's birthplace

  4. Good on you DoctorKenny. An early hambalyo btw.
  5. Nin Boon ah (qolo aan Soomaali ahayn oo dega dhulka ku teedsan soohdinta Soomaaliya iyo Keenya) iyo islaantiisa ayaa beri isdilay (is feeray) ee ma idiin sheegaa waxay isku dileen? Nin: Gubadka aan gubi doona, baciidka (some animal I don't know) daaqi doona, suunka aan ka goyni doona, sumalka (a strong ram/male sheep) aan ka gadi doona, subagiisa dhan! Naag: War dhami maayee, adaa caanaha inoo maalaa oo dhib qabaayee adiga dhan! Nin: Naa adaa wax dhalaayoo, dhib qabtaayoo, adiga dhan! Hababac weyba isku boodeen :D Moral of the story, how foolish they were fighting over something that hasn't even happened
  6. There's also a mobile version now. Much easier to use.
  7. sagsaag = doing your work irregularly (i.e. taking constant breaks), a person who doesn't attend constantly (sometimes missing). sabeenxir = formal apology waab = a building/structure used to isolate sick people waaceen = a small amount of fresh growth that grows after a small amount of rain qaldhow = the running of a sexually aroused camel when it's fighting.

  9. Admin, I think there's a virus(?) on the site. When ever I log on using my phone there's a popup that comes up.

  12. The ayah that was posted was very clear. These groups whatever they may call themselves have problems with the religion itself and will do everything they can to destroy it. "Women rights" and other nonsence are simply ploys used.
  13. Today I re-learnt alpha-ketoglutarate.
  14. The only silver lining in this is that the desert will turn green for a while so the surviving animals will have a lot of grazing land = more milk.

  16. Storms like this don't happen often. Telling a nomad to leave with his camels because a storm with a lot of rain is coming in a very dry region isn't probably going to work.

Instead what Khaatumo has is neighbors bent on destroying any outcome by any means necessary, need we recap the constant interference from Sland and Punt. And the rest of that Somalis are like that simpleton laughing all the from the bushes of Garissa Someones feeling emotional Weligiinba shir ku jira.
  18. Very nice debate. Abu Salmaan, do you by any chance know the price per Kwh in Kenya?

If the SFG is this corrupt and shameless, I fear there is nothing but more trouble for the South. May Allah help the poor and the weak in that human jungle. Sadly this is the same in all Somali areas, whether Kenya, Djibouti or S/land. It's an evil Somali trait.

This is something I've not heard being considered. The current plan appears to be a generic resettlement with no consideration of the above. This will be a major flashpoint. People should be resettled in their villages to overcome this.
  23. Everyone knows from the bridge onwards is Somali territory, hence why they have their pseudo-border there.

You're always uttering out bizarre antisemitic garbage, other then that you're okay Xaaji, please just chill out. People like you would sell their history, religion, culture, cat and dog for the forever elusive aqoonsi. Xaaji xunjuf at least won't compromise his religion and identity. Israel IS a racist state.
