For Once Oodka speaks some sense although he is still blinded by clan hate.

Somalia is in good hands indeed. There's plenty more oil all over the north, the south and offshore as well as precious metals and stones. If only we can end the transition and quickly unite (administratively that is)

http://www.somaliareport.com/index.php/post/3465/Puntlands_Anti-Piracy_Program_Shut_Down One major concern voiced in the UN reports was that the PMPF essentially provided President Farole with a professional military and police force that could be used to consolidate his power as the region moves towards joining Somalia. A professionally trained, brigade-size force with land, air and sea assets would be Somalia's only indigenous military force. There may have been pressure on the UAE to shut down Puntland's force in advance of the UN backed transition

Somali opens Mogadishu's first dry cleaners in decades

What a clever businessman. It reminds me of a story. Two rival shoe companies sent a representative each to Africa to sell shoes. The first one landed and saw that no one was wearing shoes. He immediately called HQ saying that it's impossible to sell shoes here as no one bothers to wear them. The other representative called his HQ excitedly saying "Holy cr*p, send a container load of shoes, there's massive potential here". You tell me who the better businessman was. (~Disclaimer: the story although probably not 100% accurate due to me forgetting was something like that~) -

War do you think the leaders of Somaliland are driving the seat its the people do you know the SNM majority of them were unionist only a small partion maybe 30% were for independence. But that small portion when they spoke at the conference in burco in 1991 the people were overwhelmed and wanting nothing less than a full fledged independent Somaliland republic by any mean necessary. Come on. Why do they have to get so offended from just a nickname. I could've understood it if Shariif Sakiin got angry and left the room, but why the elders as well? Ma asaga bey metalayaan mise dadka Baay iyo Bakool? Wait a minute, there was money involved?

Moonie, majority of those living in NFD today probably don't want to join Somalia in it's current state, but that is understandable. But it's another thing to pretend to be something you're not and deny your history and heritage like that corrupt politician is doing (these so called leaders claim to represent their people yet not one road has been repaired in the region for decades, forget building new ones. Garissa even lacks a proper sewage system). Also, remember that the people of NFD choose to join with Somalia at the time of Kenya's independence. This is a sad state of affairs. So please, separate the two. As for this Azania issue, clan divisions will lead us no where. People have to move on from that mentality.

Faarax, what do you know about Kenya that qualifies you to make such judgements. By the way, 'Islii baan gaarey waa dhow' doesn't count.

Abtigiis ku weereri maayo because you are damn right. Dadkan aan ka dhashey laf dhabar maba laha. Proof is on this very forumn. Aawey kii ku argue gareynaaye that he is 'Kenyan' when asked yaa tahey? Waa dad maskaxda laga gumeystey forget anything else. At times I wonder am I the only one oo karti leh

Somalia, I was talking about something else.

Bari isn't that green sxb
-
Well duh Abtigiis. Tell us something new sxb It's evident that Addis doesn't want tolka getting a foothold in the Jubbooyinka. If things go their way, Barre Hiraale will rule Kismayo and this whole Azania project will wash down the drain. PS: this thread reminds me of a question I asked you a while back. I'm still not convinced. I smell another S/land in the making.
-
Wadani hit the nail on the head. Maansha uu wadani la baxey
-
These Kenyans need to hurry. The Kismayo issue is still waiting to be resolved and that can only happen when these terrorists are gone.

Faroole needs to understand that national reconciliation is needed. If certain sections of society don't want federalism, their opinions need to be taken into account. There's no benefit in saying we're only gonna accept federalism. You have to be more flexible than that. If reer P/land want to be autonomous, let them say so. There's no need to drag the rest of the country into something they're not ready/willing for. We could then have decentralized regions in the South and autonomous regions in the North for the time being.

When will these fools learn? But how long did they last? One week? Surely that's got to be a record
