  1. Somalia (I hate to address you as such when you clearly think through a much narrower lens), do you think the poor mothers and orphans of the south chose to live in a state of constant violence and hunger. Do you think the poor masses chose to send their youth to early graves or does the blame lie upon the shoulders of the politicians? Don't blame the poor people of the south for the actions of their politicians and the actions of young men who were driven to the gun by poverty. Just because Allah blessed you with peace and others with war doesn't make you any better. No one is calling for any delay (I for one am not). What we are calling for is that after August, the wishes of the masses should be taken into consideration. The style of governance adopted should not be imposed on the people but rather they should chose. If that means federalism or a decentralized unitary state, then so be at. At least we can have a consensus then. As for your progress rhetoric, having different political beliefs does not make one a 'nabadiid'. Rather the 'nabadiid' is the one who sabotages the peace process preventing its conclusion. One piece of advise, you cannot be a society without the rest of your brothers. It is about time you dropped your us-against-them mentality, we're not living in the warlord era anymore. Soomaali waa mid, waa ul iyo meyrax, mataano weeyoo, meel bey ka wada dhasheen
  2. The cheek Somalia shows is amazing and endemic from the parts he comes from. Viewing all others as barbaric peace haters and oneself as the righteous who know and have maslaxadda umadda at heart! Federalism is the choice of the few who like the status quo and the division of the people into clannist/tribalist entities that serve the interest of the clan only and no one else. Somalia needs something that unites and fosters the notion of togetherness and brotherhood, not blind division and hatred. This federalism rubbish is only a temporary thing to appease a certain block of society. Come post-August when the constitution goes to the people, the wishes of the masses shall be heard loud and clear!
  3. Whilst we bicker and argue like little girls, our lands and oceans are looted. Dowladda KMG ah ee Soomaaliya ayaa ku eedeeysay Kenya inay si sharci-daro ah baaritaano shidaal uga sameynayso xeebaha ku yaalla dhinaca Konfureed fog ee Soomaaliya. Wasiir ku-xigeenka wasaaradda tamarta iyo batroolka Dowladda KMG Soomaaliya, Cabdullaahi Dool oo la hadlayay wakaalada Wararka Reuters ayaa sheegay in Kenya ay shirkado kula heshiisay in baaritaano shidaal laga sameeyo xeebaha Koofureed ee Soomaaliya taasoo uu ku tilmaamya sharci-darro. http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2012/July/wararka_maanta7-18536.htm
  4. Why do you think the Kenyans want to capture Jubbooyinka and most of all Kismaayo? To prevent Islamists from dominating the area? To restore peace to Somalia? Why now? Kenya has lived with anarchic Somalia for close to 20 years, why care now? Their soldiers are there to ensure that this exploration can take place as smoothly as possible and to prevent Somalia from defending its waters militarily. Remember that Kismayo used to be the HQ for our navy. They want to add our oceans to their portfolio of stolen and occupied lands.
  5. Maaddeey sxb, dagaal waa laga daaley ee hala isugu tanaasulo.

  11. It wasn't just that guy. According to Somaliareport, the UN monitoring group for Somalia and Eritrea were 'critical' of this programme. They said it provided Faroole with Somalia's only well-trained and equipped army with air-assets. They said this might change the 'balance of power'. In a way it is true, there's no other group in Somalia who could compete with this squad. From the pictures I've seen things look amazing. It's a shame it's not a national thing, if that was the case they wouldn't have had an excuse to shut it down.
  12. I thought this programme was shut down because the UN opposed it?
  13. ^ How you would love for the capital to be relocated to Garowe.
  14. Worshiping at graves is XARAM and SHIRK which leads to the hell fire. This group ought to have taught the people before destroying the monuments. But hey, what good do you expect from Khawarij. For those of you who don't know, these are NOT salafis. Rather they are called Khawarij.
  15. Somalia, I didn't say that it doesn't define the borders, but it paves the way for foreign countries to make claims. As for the Capital, does that even need to be put before any parliament? The capital is Muqdisho. Ama ku farax ama ka nax, this is a reality. Freeman, who says our armies have to fight? But what we can do is force the Ethiopians to call a referendum. That way, the people can decide. But I just want you to know how important economically that land is.
  16. The Freeman, this government doesn't have the spine to ask for our lost lands back but I'm afraid the matter is worse than you perceive. This government is in effect through this phony 'Dastuur' putting into question the current borders of the Somali Republic, whether that be land or sea. It is important to remember that Kenya lusts after a huge chunk of our oceans that is said to be rich in hydrocarbons. The fact that this 'Dastuur' was accepted by lixdii saxiixayaal in Nairobi does not sit well with some. Your attitude towards you occupied brothers leaves for much to be desired. The lost lands include fertile lands that are well suited for farming and grazing as well as two rivers that are the economic lifeline of our Republic. I would take back this land if anything else only for the economic benefits and its strategic importance. Being a downstream nation is an unfortunate thing.
  17. In this so-called 'Dastuur', Xamar is no longer the capital!
  18. Ina adeerow, there is everything wrong with placing doubt where doubt never existed before hand. Waa "baloodkeyga waan ka shakiyey ee bal kaaley ila fiiri" adoo uu kuu yaallo title deeds-kii! Waan dhowyahey ina adeer.
  19. Not only is this new 'Dastuur' different from the draft one which was made public in 2010 (which is also the one I supported), it is akin to High Treason and puts into question the territorial integrity of the Somali Republic. We should bear with it until the transition ends, but after that, it should be rejected and replaced by a Somali owned one, not one written to appease foreign aggressors and donors. http://somalitalk.com/2012/06/26/dastuurka-cusub/ “Dhulka Jamhuuriyadda Federaalka Soomaaliya ee khilaafka soohdimaha caalamig ka dhasha in xallintooda loo maro tub nabadeed iyo iskaashi…” waa qodob lagu siyaadiyey Dastuurkii lagu soo saxiixay Nairobi Jimacadii June 22, 2012 Guddiga madaxa bannaan ee dastuurka qabyo-qoraalka ayaa shaaca ka qaaday in nuqulkii ugu dambeeyey ee dastuurka e lagu soo saxiixay Nairobi uu ka duwan yahay kii ay hore u soo saareen, sidaas daraadeedna ay ummadda Soomaaliyeed arrintaas ku war gelinayaan.
  20. Xaaji, You forget, back then, you were Somalia. Punto, confederacy between the 5 regions isn't bad.
  21. Illeen raula waxey ka mid tahey kuwa Down Kenya iyo meelahaas kusoo barbaarey. Are you serious dhul soomaaliyeed weligaa maadan arag? I would love to visit Seylac. PS: There is nothing beautiful about NFD from what I've seen. Just a hot desert akin to those in the North
  22. ^ Well to be fair to them they had no way of knowing what was to come for them. As for independence, who doesn't like to rule his own? Power is very addictive.
  23. ^ Why should they have chosen to merge with a dictatorship? Maybe in the future they might change their minds though.
