Well I'm not going to over-generalize seen as I've lived most of my life in the West but the ones I know are certainly not timid. Quite a few of them are working mums and a whole lot of them virtually run their houses. For instance, my mum basically runs our house!

Ibti, I'm pretty sure Somalia signed that treaty and under international law, S/land is held accountable as it is still recognised as part of Somalia. I think that's where they might be coming from but I'm just guessing.

I like the building in the first picture. Unlike the monster that's the Dahabshiil building it looks like it has a nice shape. -

Carafaat my friend you're still as confused as ever. Even Xaajiga can see the blatant contradictions in your post. Enough with this though. I have achieved what I've wanted Correction: yes my cousins are high up in Nairobi and Addis, heck some are even jaajuus. Yes I love ugali and the beautiful language that is Kiswahili, but that still doesn't mean I support Nairobi's attitude when it comes to NEP. I have a clear mowqif that I stick to, you on the other hand are lost. It's like wyre said, you're a lost qurbo-joog (not that I'm any better )

Wenger, Wenger oh Wenger. Please when you leave, make sure you leave with dignity. I'd hate for the fans to turn against him.

Somalia: A smiling new President for a country in desperation [Editorial]

Che, don't be so short sighted sxb. When the President is commending them, he's merely sweetening them up ready for the negotiations. It's called trust building. There's no way Qoslaaye will sign off the dismemberment of the country. -
Carafaat I see you lack the backbone to even defend yourself in front of such severe scrutiny. I'm going to bed now but the question still stands. I shall be back tomorrow. Hopefully our resident Yanks will have contributed whilst us Brits are still asleep. I hope the thread is still active till tomorrow. I would hate to start another one

Reer Barigu waa dad cajiib ah. With them it's 'my way or the highway' Isu tanaasul horta gobaladaas ma laga yaqaanaa mise waxay moodaan af qalaad? -
Carafaat;895289 wrote: Oday, what is wrong with chearleading for foreign interest. Isnt that suppose to be what Somali politics is about? Confused, simply confused. Not only do you not know yourself you don't have an iota of knowledge of Somali politics. Somalis cheerlead for their own interests. It just happens that 9/10 times there's a foreign power out there who's interests align with yours.
