I'm sure you know what I meant. Why talk about General Duke in a topic that has nothing to do with him? If you have issues with him, settle it via PM, it has nothing to do with me. Capish? Now back to the topic...
-
Jimcaale, I don't know what General Duke has to do with the topic..didn't your mother teach you not to talk behind peoples backs? If you have a problem with General Duke, address him. Anyhow, I'm sure you got the gist of my post so I won't bother repeating myself, but incase you haven't, re-read the last sentence until it sinks in.

Oh! You were being serious?! And here I was thinking this Tahliil character should consider trying out for Last Comic Standing. Oh how the mighty have fallen..You cyber-warriors have been reduced to regurgitating gossip from the likes of waagacusub. Desperate times call for desperate measures, eh? Sad..sad indeed.

This is turning out to be one heck of an action movie. First Villa Somalia was captured, then Abdullahi Yusuf was forced into hiding and was smuggled into Ethiopia/Kenya( I don't know which one, the stories keep changing every minute) and now he's being replaced as head of state by Mr.nobody Ahmed Diriye. What's next? I'm waiting for Steven Seagal to appear out of nowhere with his karate moves.

All you need to know is that the Islam was used as a cloak by certain people who were "wadaads" by day and criminals by night. When they saw that using Islam wasn't getting them far, they reverted back to their clannish ways as evidenced by their asking of the big-bad-enemy Ethiopia to stay because they didn't have a problem with them, the problem is/was with Puntland . This isn't about religion or nationalism, it's about keeping stolen properties and it's very sad that some people would rather die than give up what wasn't theirs to begin with. These same people are trying to rally their larger clan by telling them that this war is a war between the clan of Mogadishu and the clan of Puntland, but fortunately most people see right through this charade. Their parliamentarians aren't speaking up because there's nothing to speak up about. You can't use your clan like a credit-card; swiping it when you're in trouble and saying to hell with it when you're in power. They are opportunities and the faster we get rid of them, the better.

I'm sorry my Somali isn't up to par, but am I correct in assuming you don't like discussing Somali politics with women? If that's the case, to paraphrase from the movie Gone with the wind, "Frankly, I don't give a damn". You can disregard my posts, but I will continue posting my views and I couldn't give a hoot as to whether you respond to them or not. Capish?

It's been proven time and time again that dialogue is not the solution, not with these people at least. They ask for war and when the heat is turned up a bit they scream "Time out..Time out". You asked for war, go out there and fight like men. Jimcaale, The Amharo line is getting tired. First off, Meles Zenawi is Tigre not Amhara, at least get the clan right. Secondly, the Ethiopian troops are there fighting on behalf of the Somali government, so any decision that is made is a Somali one.
-
^ That's not the point. These clan supporters cry and complain about the civilian death toll and blame the TFG for them, but they had nothing to say about the number of civilians who were killed during the ICUs ascendance to power. He's just pointing out the double-standard.

Originally posted by OLOL: the ****** community is the opposition, 90% are the opposition, they are united and gathered in one place. they have joined their militias togather and are ready for war. They said let the man (force) that can overpower (defeat) us, capture our city (Mogadishu. Didn't you heard the fightings and clashes of few days ago? the meaning (the whole purpose) is everyone is getting ready (so we do) we will see who will win in the (battle ) of Mogadishu. The events(killings and mass displacement) of 1992 will repeat (be their fate) What happened in 1992?

The government told these civilians to vacate their homes as there would be heavy fighting in the area..So whos to blame? The brave warriors who unload bullets behind the cover of women and children or the government who pleaded with these civilians and told them to get out before it was too late?
-
Villa Somalia was also captured, Abdullahi Yusufs beheading video will appear on Qaadisiya soon and the freedom fighters are on their way to Addis Ababa as I type this...

JJ_Mahad How else can they get these areas under their control? We all know negotiation would never work. What option is the TFG left with? Khalaf, The population of South Xamar is and has been against the establishment of ANY government in Somalia (for obvious reasons) since god knows when. What is the government to do? They are being attacked left, right and center and you expect them to just sit there? I'm not advocating for genocide and the government isn't either. The government told the civilians to leave these areas because these 'insurgents' were using them as shield..they did this to minimize civilian casualties.
-
Khalaf, the TFG needs Xamar because it's the capital of Somalia. How can one claim to control the country if they don't control the capital? They tried the whole diplomacy bit and it hasn't worked for them thus far. Bro, the government didn't just start bombing areas; they gave the civilians in these areas fair warning and told them to evacuate as soon as possible. The TFG HAS TO secure the capital and I'm sorry but they only way they can achieve this is by defeating the opposition. They have to use force because there's no way the government can negotiate with 'people' who drag and torch bodies.

Update on the sweep...heavy losses on the anti-peace clan

The Dukes balanced coverage IS desperately needed.. This website is being bombarded with gossip(not news) from secondrate tabloid websites. Atleast the General uses multiple sources to verify the articles he posts. Welcome back General Duke. -
Do you really think a ceasefire would work? Why should the government sit by and give these 'insurgents' time to regroup and improve their tactics/strategies so they can later attack the government? Somalis only understand force, these 'insurgents' will never give up willingly, so the government is left with no other option but to use force.
-
These people only understand force and I'm happy that the government is giving them exactly what they deserve.

I'm sure the young adults who went to help the government secure Mogadishu didn't expect to have their bodies set ablaze/mutilated/used as trampolines. They signed up for combat, yes, and no ones objecting to their deaths because that's only natural, but desecrating the dead? That's pure savagery.

Tone, I really don't know what your problem is. You enter nearly every topic I reply to and you make remarks about what I've said. Do you mind replying to the topic and not me? Thank you.
-
Okay, I think you have me mistaken with someone else because I've never gloated at the death of others. I'm sure you expect me to sit here and justify the rape of Suuban Ali so you can lash out at me, but unlike you, I see a wrong as what it is, regardless of whos behind it. I suggest you take a look in the mirror and try to find your "humanity". You need to stop making excuses for things that are utterly inexcusable.

Kashafa was that directed towards me or the topic starter?

Who cares if innocent people die, just grab your popcorn and watch the action unfold.
