Being called a clanist doesn't offend because I have been called worse. I just find it a bit odd that the people who label as such are in fact as clanish as I am. But it ain't nothing but a chicken wing, so continue as you wish.

My god these people are racist!

I have never justified the killing of innocent people/persons and I never will. With that being said how is the case of Mogadishu in anyway similar to that of Hargaisas? Since when did Mogadishu ever want to leave the union? -
KENYA LEGISLATORS TO PUSH FOR RECOGNITION OF SOMALILAND
Ebyan replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
The people from those areas get to decide their own fate. If they wish to stay in the union they can do so and if they wish to leave they can. I know what you mean. There are some people who exploit the events of '80s, but put yourself in their shoes. If airplanes were used to bomb your people, wouldn't you want to leave the union as well? Anywho..Isn't the President suppose to resolve this issue? I heard there was a deal in the works.. -
Oh..so I'm a clanist, but someone who advocates for one sub-clan rule isn't? Makes a lot of sense.
-
Are you calling me clanist? Whatever the weather.
-
Weird for a Somali woman? What does that mean exactly? I will only marry from clans that my parents deem acceptable.

I don't think Somalis will ever 'leave behind' their tribal differences. It's time for positive qabiilism.

KENYA LEGISLATORS TO PUSH FOR RECOGNITION OF SOMALILAND
Ebyan replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in Politics
We're coming at this from different angles; you support unity and I don't. Somalilanders don't need to use what happened to them in the '80s to leave the union...They can just leave and Inshallah President Abdullahi Yusuf will help them in their quest. Of course you have the right to question the numbers that people keep throwing around, but I just think this is an extremely sensitive issue for many people and it's nearly impossible to talk about the events of the late '80s without offending anyone. -
^^ Ditto. My life is priceless.

1 person or 100s of thousands of people, it really makes no difference; it's one too many. RIP to all those who were unjustly killed. -
Wish I could attend a conference like that. Have fun.

Dude, if you're going to put personal information on the web, you can darn well bet that people will see it. You can't delete your facebook account and that totally suckz, but you can delete/alter all the info on there and then deactive your account.

^^^Lmao It's just a bad picture, that's all. Plus, it's not like Jaylaani said anything wrong..Bantus aren't Somali.

Yesterday when the RRA used Habeshi to evict Huseen Aideed and the SNA you were a happy man. Today when it doesn't suit you, well, it doesn't suit you. LoooL. Talk about getting booked.
