  1. I would rather be a kurd then a gypsy ...you are the somali gypsy saxib, migrating to were you think your ego can be boasted. Somalia is gone, Mugdisho is for the people of mugdisho you aint allowed back there, in peace anyway. Somaliland is for the somalilanders, from the little village of las canod to loya cado (djibouti border). were will you go, gypsy..stay in bosaso...or garowe i got villages bigger then your biggest so called cities, look on google maps.
  2. Its called being civilized and understanding truth, honour, respect and decency. Some people have it other don't. I cant help but wonder were Somaliland would be today if we never united with Somalia in 1960. We would have been a regional superpower, a nuclear armed nation in africa. Ethiopia and Eriteria, Somalia and all these little inhuman uncivilized states would be in our realm of influence. inshalah one day. like Nieitche said man " what doesnt kill you makes you stronger". we are stronger today for knowing what somalia is, in my view a backward, hostile, hypocratical, self serving, conspiratoral, immoral society, thats the reason why God is still testing you, until you realise this and let by gones be by gones, give every man his right without condition, they will still continue to suffer.
  3. no need to be invited because clearly its about piracy and its effects on the world...there is no piracy in Somaliland. It amazing how we have no piracy and you remain the hub of pirates. it shows you are incapable of anything, piracy, human trafficing, social breakdown, civilian being shot on a daily basis, no water. its a sad time to be in Bari right now. sad indeed, however i ask what will change after this meeting, will piracy come to an end................. naaaaaaaaaah ! loooool, i dont think so.
  4. puntland and the onlf have alot in commin, i will give you examples, - both are exclusively a one clan entity - both have failed to create what they set out to create in its entirety - both have been defeated by there rivals Ethiopia and Somaliland - both are soul searching and going through self denial - both are delusional about were to go next or what to do so you see, duke.. you have a lot in common. and secondly a quick comment about "puntland" being the hope of all somali's. (looooooooooooool). saxib you cant even pay your god dam militia that have recieved there 2 hour training a wage..anything. so much for hope, if you are somali's hope, may god have mercy on somalia.
  5. "what is there to seccesed from". somalia saxib doesnt exist and clearly you can see yet again by this article that puntland is a joke. the reason why it cant pay any salaries is due to low population and high poverty rates. bari only has 1 actual income generating avenue bosaso port and that not enough. in fact in all of puntland bosaso is the only income generating city/village. when you really look that one income generating source, is only half the size of burco somaliland second city. you realise why it cant pay any wages. Borama, wajale, Gabiley, Berbera, Hargaisa,Burco, Alaybaday,Zailla are all income generating hubs. its like a small boy trying to compete with a grown man. keep trying and good luck.
  6. shooting all over the place these days... in "Bari". I may be the anglo saxon Somali...but these guys are surely the gypsy somali (loool). shootings of riligious men, so called politicians, judges.. etc. and you claim to be different from the rest of somalia...its the same instability, maybe you should put your flag on hold and improve security and pay your police. (loool)
  7. Wow, the ********* of these somali's is mind numbing. You know what, let me say one thing. " If you look at the history books, what dukes folks call greater somalia, its constitution, the first country independent from foreign rule etc" started from Somaliland. I.E. Somaliland and its people created Somalia. You can call me an anglo-saxon somali, yet you fail to realise while your ancestors were picking banana's for italians, and used to pass over rivers". Somalilands elders were signing agreements in the middle of the red sea to be allowed access on to somali soil". so regardless of what happens, we only wait for one thing, recognition we are not fussed when it will come, because our state is growing and building it is a joy". mark my words, SOMALIA WILL BE THE WAY IT IS FOREVER WITHOUT THE HELP OF SOMALILAND. so, call me what you will....i have a state...a proper one ! puntland is a quazi state, a pirates, criminal wet dream, mugdisho is ranked the most dangerious city in the world, 5 million people with guns,no education, traumatised by war, displaced etc. can you see the challanges that await you...or are you dreaming. forget mission impossible, this is mission never gonna happen.
  8. Someone mentioned soverign state, firstly most of you dont really know what that means, what does soverignty mean? look it up, soverignty means-- that you are the highest power in the area under your control, if a mean sneezes in las canod, or dances in borama or hargaisa...who is the supreme power? = Somaliland recognition and soverignty are two different notions, recognition only means that your soverignty is acknowledged however even if it is not acknowledged doesnt mean that you are not soverign. Somaliland is a soverign state in every sence of the word, i give you that it is not acknowledged however doesnt mean this wont happen in the future. If you look at the meaning of soverignty again in respect to Somalia does somalia control its territory... no ! is it the supreme power of the land.. hell no ! then it is not a soverign state, in name only it is, and reality tends to take time to effect international relations, its just one of those things. No theory behind it, but history shows in time these realities tend to become recognised, - China - Eriteria -East Timor - Kosovo i noticed a diplomatic f U... from a few people. screaming somalia....Somalia... ! Somaliland is more soverign then Somalia. its time you opened your eyes.
  9. Somaliland on verge of observer status in the Commonwealth. Written by Qarannews Nov 16, 2009 at 04:33 AM London (Qarannews) - Reliable sources have confirmed to the Geeska Afrika newspaper that Somaliland is on the verge of official observer status within the Commonwealth member nations. According to these sources, there have been recent meetings between officials from the United Kingdom and representatives from Somaliland held in London to study the possibility of Somaliland's observer status at Commonwealth summit and meetings. If Somaliland is successful in its aspiration for observer status, it will not have an official voice, but Somaliland is expected to benefit in terms of diplomatic and economic relations with Commonwealth member states. In early 2008 members of the Somaliland parliament were invited to participate in Commonwealth parliamentarians meetings held in London, however, it is the first time that Somaliland will have been granted observer status at any official Commonwealth member summits or meetings. There has been no comment from either the Somaliland government or the Commonwealth secretariat, but according to Geeska Afrika newspaper, informed sources have confirmed a motion to grant Somaliland observer status at Commonwealth meetings and summit will be proposed for consideration. The Commonwealth member nations comprise of mainly English speaking countries with strong ties to the United Kingdom. Somaliland is a former British protectorate which became independent on the 26th of June, 1960.
  10. London, UK, December 5, 2009 (SL Times) – Oral Answers to Questions — International Development House of Commons debates, 2 December 2009, 11:30 am Alun Michael (Cardiff, South and Penarth) (Lab/Co-op): What support his Department is giving to the authorities in Somaliland to assist in arrangements for elections. The Minister of State, Department for International Development (Mr. Gareth Thomas): The United Kingdom, together with Sweden and Switzerland, is funding independent electoral experts to enable them to support the Somaliland national electoral commission. We will continue to urge the authorities in Somaliland to hold elections as soon as possible, once arrangements for them can be completed. Alun Michael: I am sure my hon. Friend shares my satisfaction that progress is now being made towards holding effective presidential elections. Does he agree that whoever wins, it will be important to work further in developing parliamentary and democratic institutions in Somaliland, and will he and his Department help that progress following the presidential elections? Mr. Thomas: I agree that whoever wins will need to continue to work with the international community and the people of Somaliland to improve governance there. We will certainly play our part if successful elections take place. We could provide further support to help to develop the economy of Somaliland, to improve access to basic services, and to address the root causes of the instability of which my right hon. Friend will be only too aware. [interruption.] Mr. Speaker: Order. There are still far too many private conversations taking place on both sides of the Chamber. It is very unfair to the hon. Member who is asking a question, and to the Minister who is answering it. The House needs to come to order. Mr. Gary Streeter (South-West Devon) (Con): Is not one of the greatest investments that this country can make in many developing countries, including Somaliland, the establishment of good governance and stable democracy? Will the Minister ensure that the Westminster Foundation for Democracy is funded adequately, given that it does precisely that? Mr. Thomas: I agree that one way in which the international community can help to encourage development in developing countries is by promoting good governance. That is one reason why the Department's third White Paper focused on this issue, and why the most recent White Paper continued to highlight our work on good governance. I have had a series of discussions about the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, as have other Ministers. If the hon. Gentleman has particular concerns about how it is being financed, I will be very happy to meet him to discuss them. 16. thats the 14th picture i have seen of signatures being signed...I think if you read the small print its not about oil, these guys are from a stationary company trying to sell you pens and paper. loooooooooool ! peace out dreamers.
  17. the day narnia froze over...when you read articles like this remember that puntland lives in self denial to them the up is down and down is up, reality is fiction and fiction is reality. looooooooooooooool, its called self delusion and they use websites such as this one as a form of masterbashen, just hopin that some guy out there who knows very little will believe them. Xabsade left puntland and is a somalilander to the core.
  18. The problem of somali people and governance is the mindset and no philisophical basis. Western governance took many hundreds of years to develop and it developed around a simple question liberty and the boundries of liberty. and the need of the people for order and protection. Read Isiah Berlin and John lock the two great thinkers who created the notion of modern day governance. Any successful notion of governance has to come straight from philosophy. Simply, ask yourself this question why has somalia failled, not because of curroption, because there are alot of countries out there that are curropt and still standing, somalia failed because of the lack of justice. You had real abuse of power, centered around a man not an elected body or constitution, this lack of justice led to the divisions which still exist today. How can we solve it, by bringing justice back. what do i mean by this, as people with different interests every man should be allowed to deside his own future. Somaliland and Somalia as two seperate nations, with puntland being allowed to have its own referendum on its future. Let everyman deside his own fate and future. this would restore justice and allow the order to come back to the somali mind, which would give precident for all somali territories to have peace by working together on certain mutual interests such as peace, while maintain individual interests that help maintain justice.
  19. i should really proof read my posts, i type quickly and then post. jacalbaro..you are what we call in hargaisa half and half saxib. You are a liberal, a pasavist, leave the politics to the ancient rulers of Somaliland saxib Southern Hargaisa and Western Burco. What poetry refers to as the two fists of Somaliland. You and the rest are our soft underbellies. We know how to deal with Somalia...!
  20. Hey everyone Gaaroodi is back, was gone for a few weeks was just really busy. I recommend some of you to stop your virtual masterbashin and have a good look at reality. Somalia is gone, historian will write about hundreds of years from now and they will say, "the somali nation was born in Hargaisa, were the first independent somali nation gained its independence on june 26 1960". "It created a somali national identity, its flag became the official, its dialect the official, it gave its life for the somali nation and the somali nation found its demise in the very city that gave it birth". just think about this, seriously. The bases of any country is its army, it provides security, that security allows the government to build up a civil servent workforce, institutions which in turn collect taxes and pays for the army, the navy, the government, education etc. Today the somalia does not have anything that remotely resembles an army, puntland too has an army in name only, we are still waiting for these mysterious forces to take back las canod but they have not appeared i think they will appear when they find the swimming pools of oil and leprecons swimming in them, loool. Seriously though, no civil servant, no taxable income, no taxable resources etc. just remember this every day that goes by Somaliland grows stronger, end when they are not in any hurry, when recognition comes, it will be to late to build peace between our two countries. So work on peace now which is the best option for both of us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7M9QLczJhnc
  21. we will see who is laughing when Ethiopia builds the largest dam in Africa due to start soon with the help of china. The nile will shrink to fraction of what it is now. Egypt + somalia = no ethiopia Ethiopia+the dam+ Somaliland = Bye Bye Egypt !!
  22. looool, still searching i see for that elusive oil...huh ! loooooooooooooooooooool ! if i started digging for oil the first time puntland said it was digging for oil i would have dugg passed china and reached the moon by now. bosaso and puntland is a joke......keep searching like i said i will find a leprecon before you find oil. lool
  23. looool, it is because of people like the one who started this blog that somali mind has been numbed to the extent that it is the joke of the world. loool, thank god for your kind, because any clever person can use people like you to destroy this sorry excuse for a country you call somalia.
  24. new flag more retoric of statehood. ...? mind numbing. puntland reminds me of a confused christien, you ask him who is god is jesus god or is he the son of god, and they will tell he is both. puntland are you a state or a regional body? but...but..we are both. loooooooooooooool. at least somaliland has the balls to say i am a seperate nation.
  25. the onlf ....are still fighting a never ending war...with ethiopia and get weaker every year...somalia is finished, Djibouti is more french then somali, the NFD is impoverished and more kenyan than somali. SOMALILAND IS THE LAST MAN STANDING. if you wanna come challange me..then come ! none have beaten me so far. not even your plans could stop me.
