FB, there is a reason why it's 'impressions' of ppl and not the reality...and it wasn't that comment it's the two names nick. (And it's expression typo that should be 'comes across') Buuxo that's like saying gold is the standard.

Ghanima, people who have known each other for ages still get divorced. It depends on the individuals and how long is comfortable for them. I think 2 questions are being confused here. How long till marriage or how long it takes for you to know that person is right for you. The latter should be farely soon.
-
My slightly alternative impressions: Ghanima, me two years ago minus the incessant ‘chatter’, plus a lot of red bull & coffee maybe? I get the feeling you should supply ppl with a bottle of water before they attempt to converse with you. ME, loves to argue when he isn’t breathing. Kool Kat I don’t know, yummy mummy? Zenobia I love this girl, no need for impressions. Layzie, her bored attitude and swift rudeness will bite her in the back one day. When she is not putting on airs she comes across as actually quiet a decent human being. JB , lovable, despite the fact that he has the annoying habit of flooding the site with information, keep it going JB, we love you. FB thinks he is some sort of modern day metro-faraxized-cassanova, I don’t know why I think that. Xiin , at least he knows what he is and doesn’t try to be hip and cool. Serenity her bark is worse than her bite (this is not an attempt to ruin your rep) Val, , comes across as lovely girl, if you don’t step on her toes that is then the knifes are out. Zafir I can’t really pin point this one, he is just strange. Che too comfortable with himself, someone needs to make him run 100 miles and join some rebel army in Cambodia. Ngonge someone wipe that self-satisfied & smug grin off his face. Nephthys, a schizophrenic divide between a modern Xalimo or a traditional Cambarro, the indecisiveness is puzzling. Legend This guy comes across as Mr I’m too cool for my shoes, would it be rude to roll my eyes at this? Johnny B a drunk flirtatious middle aged man, (possibly with a round behind). Munira comes across as too churpy and happy, is this girl ever put down? D&D , hip career woman when she isn't giving too much ground to the faraxs. Ok, this honesty does not give you a license to tear my online character apart. They are only impressions and you are to blame for their projection. If you haven't made it to the list, you're in danger of being part of the SOL wallpaper. [ August 28, 2007, 02:53 PM: Message edited by: -Lily- ]

Red light special, OMG what a hotties Red Light TLC I used to be soooo obsessed with this song as a teen, despite it's slight dirtyness it had some wisdom for a teenage girl. Still one of my all time favs, love it I'll get back to this when I'm not at work.

Chub, I don’t think it’s about the quantity of time you spend with that person but the intensity of those experiences. You know how you sometimes meet people and you feel you’ve known them your whole life? Or how some people give you that feeling that you can trust them (not that you should straight away)? I don’t think you can ever really KNOW anyone 100%, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. For example, how a person reacts to a single event can tell us so much more about them than 20 dates could. You have to be able trust their history and be fully reconciled with it. The main thing is that you know what you can expect from that person and that you can also predict their behavior fairly accurately.

I wanted to run and hide. I didn't know how to deal with that vulnerability. I'm sure his wife thought it was *HOT*. I'm sure the wife was recovering from the pain to worry about anyone else's tears . Ok I got it.

^^^LOL@ ma nus ba igu ogeed,I do like that . Yes being completed is rather irksome. It really annoys me when people refer to their partners as 'my other half'.

Yep that one I have seen. I would have loved to take more pics of mosques but it really sin't a walking friendly country and the damn taxi drivers wouldn't have stopped at 120 miles per hour. One of the mosques was on the Sharja Kornish or walkway or whatever it was called, near the canal. Quiet pretty.
-
LoL, Sounds like you’re abusing the waterworks D&D
-
I would have love to seen that, a little late, I stayed there in April for 10 days. So that's what my sister meant by 'there are really beautiful parts to Sharja' when we kept running off to Dubai. Oh well, next time.
-
OMG, thats so beautiful, where is that?
-
I don't know why ppl think it's sweet or hot to see anyone cry? People only cry (or they should) when things are going terribly wrong. How is that 'sweet' or 'hot'? As for the man in the article, he should be fed to hyenas, simply pathetic!

Val , she already sat for 3 GCSEs before the summer (Maths in year 10 and further Maths this year making it extra GCSE, double ICT in year 9-10). So technically she only sat for 9 this year but got her final results all together. Her school is full of overachieving Asians, it’s perfectly normal to be doing 12 in total. We are having a party this weekend to celebrate her success and also that of my other 2 cousins who also passed nicely. She is probably getting lots of money from the older siblings and a laptop to assist the 'surgeon' in the making with her A levels.

I was always under the impression that Somalia was a little more greener than this! What happened to all the trees? And why is the river in BW muddy? Is that its natural colour?
-
That sounds lovely, do take a lot of pictures.
-
^^^ That sounds like a very nice combination, where are you off to? It's only 9 40 and I'm so sleepy, this is going to be a long day.
-
Well done to Hibo. My sister got 3A*s, 6 As and 3 Bs today, yes I’m showing off .
-
Hmmm, Nyphthys , I was under the impression that whilst these qualities can exist outside of love that patience, kindness and friendship were all attributes of love? I think people have this idea that love must be some kind of irrational, hopping on pavements, flowers and candies & fireworks exploding- lets walk on water mad sort of thing? It might be some of those things in the beginning but surely it can also be steady and ordinary and part of life? I think it has been too exaggerated and if it’s not what the TV/magazines/books tell us then it must not be love, which is totally false of course.
-
^^^Yeah sure and you’ll end up a lonely & loony skinny old Farax screaming how they all wanted your money and weren’t ‘down’ with rudy’s laws  . Well Khalaf, since you don’t believe in love before marriage I don’t see what the big deal is, just say ‘ini mini mo’ and good luck.

Can you meet someone once and know they are your other half? Maybe Is it there truly only one person in the entire universe for you? No, but there could be. Do you HAVE to know a person to be in love with them? Yes Is love a necessary ingredient for marriage? Yes. Marriage without love is like tea without sugar or flavour. We are not talking about lust here. I am talking about the feeling related to the irrationality within ourselves. Ok Perhaps falling in love at first sight is somewhat like a paradoxical statement. Perhaps. I don't think anyone has all the answers. As to the title's question, I'm not sure, you don't wake up one day and decide you love someone, you migt realize it like that but I think a lot more must happen before you come to that realization. So, you may or may not have control over the final act of loving that person itself but you do have some control over what leads up to it. Does that make sense?

OMG, that bag is beautiful. I had a similar one (not chloe of course) until hoyo took it to Somalia and left it there! rrr, It was brand new as well and I never even wore it once. Now it's wasted under some Xalioms jilbaab no doubt Will def check out the Somali designer another time.

What the hell happened to the summer? Why is it cold autumn in August? What a waste of summer wardrobe, they should have warned us. Someone should fire all these weather people

There is something sinister about a baby being hybird between two women. Oh never mind, I actually know a few genetics buffs, will get to the bottom of this.

I’m still not convinced. Why else has it been made a legal requirement in the UK for all donors to register and be traceable by the 'donated' kids? Isn't it because they are really more linked than we think?
