  1. Hell and displeasing Allah are strong enough motivators to make you want to work towards Heaven rather than hot men and women...and I think your beat up old imperfect regular Farax from this life could be upgraded for the hereafter. I second Layzie's sentiments on this topic .

  3. I'm just recovering from my Afur. People eat qamadi with skim milk you will be full and bouncing off the walls all day. Acudubillahi, is that even eatable Kayf? I think you got the name wrong? FaraxBrown said, hilib ari feeraha iska saar, galaas dheer oo caano fur baluug ah qac kasii That sounds like a recipie for high blood pressure and or heart attack. The weirdly named 'blue cap' milk will not save you after that. Lilly,What do you eat for saxuur? Baasto? Well I couldn't wake up at 4am, but if I did or found myself awake, what's wrong with cereal and toast? Maybe Weetabix with skimmed milk with a banana & strawberries or toast with cheese & a slice of halal salami? Wallahi waa dhib jeceshihiin with all your elaborate meals at un-seeming hours!
  4. Yes once upon a time we had that luxury, now fajir starts at 4:30 am, which means you should be up at 4. Next year it will be 3 am, and eating 9pm or something like that... Guess who will be going on a month long holiday then?
  5. Thanks and no problem, I hope it works for you.
  6. ^^^Suraha day yaah, you got to eat, you got to eat...some ppl I know have like 3 course meals, ok I'm exaggerating but they eat a lot!
  7. LOL, ok, so you intend to make and eat something you haven't seen, now that's what I call adventurous!
  8. I'm trying to remember! Mine always lets you choose. Are there no options on Itunes itself that give you the chance to 'Import' from CD? Try looking for that in the File Menu in Itunes.
  9. What is Sareen? And that eeg sandwich sounds delicious. I should really try waking up in time for food.
  10. But you do have Itunes on your desktop?
  11. When you play your CD on your computer open with Itunes programme (I'm assuming you have that on your desktop?) and that way you will have the option to add them to your Ipod list, then move them to your Ipod as usual? I like this... no music and educational.
  12. This is a shockingly silly question, I'm under the impression that you cannot eat after the adhan for the morning prayer takes place, but my Aisian friend insists you can eat as long as its dark. Well?
  13. Does anyone have sambuus without hilib or with tuna?
  14. Ghanima, it's early days and your body needs time to adjust. I don't think it's worth it to get up, who can eat at 4am? Especially since you can pray a lot later.
  15. accompanied by a hail of cries It's not that I'm devoid of feelings or it's particularly funny but I find it hard to keep a straight face and suppress giggles when ppl howl at mosques. You can be touched without making a spectacle of yourself.
  16. It's going extremely well so far, aside from feeling a little cold. All you coffee addicts, suckers! Oh yeah, it's Ramadan, I'm meant to be nice...in future, try not to depend on coffee so much . Enjoy your Afur all!

  18. Noted Bob ( & it is indeed I, WaterLily). Well, on a personal level I don't look beyond our impossible big foreheads, (this doesnt mean you walk by without noticing the blond, blue eyed hunk) but I can't speak for all. I suppose we have the right to make our own choices, right or wrong. Ramadan Kariim.
  19. A garment denotes protection, inclusiveness and warmth, basically someone to care for you and not to complete you? This doesn’t mean that you can’t need that person. Me thinks this whole completing business places huge pressure on the Other.

  21. ^^^ And I'm sure some ppl count themselves among the upstanding Muslims who never sin in their daily life. Warning someone and accusing them are two entirely different matters. Ngonge, These sort of programmes are simultaneously positive and patronizing, in effect what they are saying is 'Oh look, apart from having a love for blowing people up, some of them actually have brains, work, and have kids, and they joke! Oh my God, she uses the same chocolate brownie recipe as I do! This is very confusing, they must be normal then, quiet normal if only it wasn't for that tinee tiny thing called Islam. What a shame'.
  22. I think some people assume everyone's faith is as strong and clear cut as theirs. Instead, I suggest they pray to Allah to make it easy for these sisters rather than name calling.

Besides, when you think of each child's needs, £500 is really not a lot, the food alone will be about £200, add days out, new trainers, birthday parties, swimming and Quran lessons, that 500 would need to be thinned out a long way. As for the car, ever heard of finance. Ha ha ha @ hagbad.
  24. Dahia, I hope it was a plesant suprise. This is going to be a long day is all I can say...
  25. Ok, the guy is missing his pig lover/wife?
