    Today I....

Ghanima, I'm sorry about your cousin, Allaha u naxariisto. Hopefully Allah will turn her suffering into dambi dhaaf. Amiin.
  2. Cooking Farax's are terribly attractive aren't they Ghanima? Mind you, FB said he was finding out for someone so he can't really reap the credit for this... Dahia, Indian sweets look pretty but they are hard to stomach, like Xalwo...
  3. Miss D&D, this is not a child though, she is a woman. Parents need to know when child rearing is over and they are facing adults, my way or the highway doesn't cut it anymore. I'm sure it's devastating but you need to realize when to let go. Perhaps parents should pray more that their kids turn out ok. There is only so much you can do, and sometimes more damage than good. Having kids in the west and expecting them to be untouched by Western values, both good and bad, is like throwing someone in the ocean and telling them not to get wet. 4. Ok KK is an established make-up junkie Nomad, you could die of worse things.
  5. Dahia & Puj, all the same, it’s not permissible to bow to anyone but Allah so I don’t see why one would worry with that statement? It’s almost trying to turn men into semi-divine mortals...

Tastes lovely. I dont know why everyone has become obsessed with food on the month of Ramadan.
  7. Ngonge Lol@switched off, as in ‘hebel woo damay’? sounds very humerous. Dahia we all know it’s an inevitability, I used to be fascinated with death when I was about 18…I wasn’t suicidal, I just wanted to know what lay beyond and come back, obviously when the impossibility of coming back dawned on me , my fascination ceased.
  8. There is nothing high end about this xalwo-baasto that is heart-attack enducing... Cambuulo is a new phenomenon, but yeah, muufo rocks .
  9. The most horrific way of describing someone has died I have ever heard is the phrase 'woo go-ay ama wey 'go'day'like they run out or something. There is something deeply disturbing about that. Oh and about the fact that death is discussed with such enthusiasm and humour by fellow SOLers.

  11. I have seen it but never tasted it and by God would not have known it to be called Cidriyad. Cadar-ka la marsado ina laga hadlaaya u maleeynaayay, mise waa cunto kuye. Food whore kaa tahay maxaa dhahaa.. Nephthys ha ha ha me too, I though he was going to start complaing about the mosque and how ppl overuse their cadar when I saw the topic. love Cadriyad, I wish I knew how to make, betting on my future wife!lol Dabshid such desperation man, war orod oo baro! Practice CG and Dahia’s recepies. Why wait when you could be enjoing it now? All these wonderfully weird Somali expressions, I can't stop laughing.
  12. People in my local mosque are convinced Laylatul-Qadr is on the 27th, the mosque is so packed and they sleep over, but it's not as busy on the 21st/23rd/ and 29th! Yaab.

I was referring to the above cyber cat brawl, surprised anyone still has the energy to miaow at all... not long to go now, 10 more days or so.

And what does istareego mean? Rephrase that so that I may be suitably offended .
  15. ^LoL Caano, Looser was one in a million, (besides he had no option but to be a success with a name like that) compared to the hordes of black ppl that employers discriminated against.
  16. ^^^ That's when the therapist needs to intervene.
  17. ^^Why thank you. I still maintain it would be tiring to be anything all the time, especially firey & provocative names. Reminds me of that book Freakonomics, there are consequences for names, I always thought black people made up names. I was right.
  18. Three have passed away last night due to excessive eating...it's rumoured they were Canadian Solers. Aaliyah our resident Wadadat in chief, amiin!
  19. ^^ Yes, with size 6(UK sizes) now established as a mainstream & standard size, 12 is positively obease, 14 haba sheegin, you're beyond repair. All in all, it makes shopping more difficult because you’re a different size in each store.

  21. I Love the name sensation Canoo I like it too, but on second thought, it must be a difficult name to live up to, to be sensational at all times. Some of these names are child abuse, they should be registered as such.
  22. Barwani are Somalis no? Doesn't matter what he is. Well done to him.
