Letters are wonderful, I miss writing them, but I can't say I would have a paragraph of salan for anyone.

Goodbye to Holland , it's 3 goals now...

^^^ Now you add stereotyping to your perversity, what a character.

The Sheik sounded sane which is more than you can say for most Somali politicians. I’m just disturbed by those who continue to call for fighting from their comfy screen desks, going about their every day tasks, their families safely living decent lives outside Somalia. When your children are being blown apart, regardless if it is by Resistance fighters or TFG or Ethiopian troops, you have little time to worry about ideals & principles. We should give whatever works a chance and worry about the details later on. Even if it has the slightest chance of success we should have hope.

Ibti, it’s another outlook on death CL, loool. Malika, well, at 19 he may be on the young side but will certainly make many a Xalimo melt in the near future, especially once he dons his piloting uniform... Hey Ms D&D I agree, sofies dhaxdey ku dhuman! As for dieting, you have to trick your brain into thinking you’re eating healthy, it’s a lifestyle choice. The best advice I can give is to stop eating when you’re satisfied, say 65 to 70% depending how hungry you are and never ever eat till you’re fully full.

Malika, if all else fails, I'll send one of my brothers your way to step in for the engagement, albeit on the youngish side they would do... We often forget our own mortality, which is why you have to party extra hard and enjoy the little time we have left...

LoL@Malika, ever heard of Yellow Pages? Kidding... CL, do you ever check the weather forecast? Sat is couldy, with some rain. Sundy is sunny.

Erm, Ngonge, putting aside politically correct sentiments and smart solutions, here it is very simply put. A, you have a parent who is a practising and deeply religious Muslim. This parent believes 100% in God, afterlife, hell & heaven. This parent is a loving parent who wants to raise a God pleasing child/adult, who avoids hell fire and resides in paradise with him/her in the afterlife. This parent will naturally try to steer child towards the path they believe is the right one. Parent B, is a non believer. Parent B loves their child, they want them to ‘reach their own conclusions’ in life without religion to tell them what to do. So they let their child roam free and decide what to be & believe. It seems almost impossible to raise a child without some form of indoctrination, weather this is viewed as positive or negative.

I don’t know if this woman at work is just a control freak or trying to trip me up. She always has to say some remark with anything I do, even if I do it to her exact specification. Thank God, at least it’s weekend and I won’t be tortured with looking at her ugly mug.

Very sad. It was in yesterdays Guardian. May Allah give them the strenght to endure, survive and be victorious.

Hmm, I don’t think it’s up to us to decide how parents teach their children. If little girls are not required to wear hijab I don’t see why they should? Beginning to wear a scarf should be a significant stage towards becoming a young practising woman and re-affirming one's religious conviction willingly.

Ngonge, I still think The Shining is one of the greatest horror movies ever. The way it plays with your mind...that woman is a great actress, her terror is easily transferable to viewers.

^^I personally hate the gym, as in that place where there is a painful selection of equipment designed to torture the human body. What I do like and discovered you can do at a gym is group exercise classes. Aerobics, Yoga, Boxing, Dance…the good thing about these classes is that they are motivating, you’re too busy concentrating on the moves rather than the clock and it’s mainly women. 1 hour of such a class few times a week should do the trick. If you live somewhere with great outdoors, nothing beats running.

LooL@ fera weyn. Like Ibti said, it's not pregnancy that makes women obese, it's the post pregnancy care, as in Umul/food abuse. ...carry on with your male bashing ladies.

^^I know but I was eating a chocolate browni...

^^Apparently the benefits outweigh the side effects. There is nothing shocking about such a procedure and it's usually as a last resort. I'm no expert, read it up if you're interested enough.

^^No, the smell turns my stomach. Well, I suggest he has a triple chocolate gateau cake with chocolate bits and chocolate sauce and mud chocolate filling near him and a huge spoon...or whatever else works for him to relief stress.

Cadaan, google smoker’s lungs and non smoker lungs, smoke related lung diseases, etc. That should help motivate you.

I think this re-structure surgery is sticking the middle finger at men...as if they can be the only ones to get away with it.
-
Some women do get breast reductions due to back pain. What’s weird is Ducaysane reading gossip magazine’s and covering it up waiting in the que, and the absurd logic that the hypothetical surgery will some how be a disadvantage to the hypothetical husband. Anyway, Ibti, google a local Chiropractioner, I only know of this one in Hampstead but it may be quiet out from your end of London. Good luck.

Ibti, perhaps you should try a Chiropractic Clinic where you can get treatment from qualified and registered professionals, who specialize in musculoskeletal conditions, e.g. back pain. Sessions are usually between £40-70. 8 hours in front of a computer screen is enough to damage anyone's back. Swimming is also very good. Ngonge, that sounds more like a spa treatment.
