Malika, since I have been away in April it's a little too soon for another long haul holiday. A long weekend somehwere in Europe most likely. For now I have to prioritise passing the damn driving test, I don’t think some people are just meant to drive, it’s just becoming such a never ending hassle.

I'm very confused. Is there documented proof that Somali Bantus were originally from other parts? If so by all rights they are Somali and should be treated as any other Somali person but it is also patronizing to feign amnesia over the origins of the Bantu people, to do that is to assume it is somehow shameful that their ancestors may have originated from elsewhere. Don’t they refer themselves to as ‘Somali Bantus’ or is that derogatory term?

It doesn't hurt North, it's just the injection used to deaden the area feels like your brain is being sucked out and the tray of apparatuses the dentist uses freak me out. But once you're past that you should be fine, like Afro said, it doesn't hurt, you just left wanting to leave. Best pick a really good memory or something nice to think about and play that movie in your mind and you'll forget you're there.

Perhaps you could take a career break and do something you really enjoy? Most companies offer a few months/up to a year off while they keep your job open for you. If you have been good financially you can also negotiate a ‘holiday’ from any payments to your bank whilst on break. That’s all I can think of. Good luck.
