I think macawis is hot, preferebly worn topless or with a fitted crisp white vest ...having said that, it should never leave the privacy of your own walls. What I don’t understand is, why go to relatively peaceful towns like Baladweyne once the mayhem of Mogadishu proved too much? If they gladly wish to sacrifice their lives, surely they should be taking the war to Ethiopian troops and not going to heavily populated areas huffing and puffing ‘come and get us’? You have to remember that the 8 or so Ethiopean troops that will get ambushed are not more valubale than the 80 Somalis who will have also died in the process.

So what other forms of exercise besides swimming can one do that don’t put too much pressure on joints but give a good workout? How’s the Pilates going Sheh?

Hmm I always thought we Somalis used the term 'family' too liberally. My blood relatives are my relatives, you send money to men who live in the US? If the poor and destitute in Somali ask for help by all means sadaqeyso but change your number to these parasites. The TOL can be helpful for many things (helping with burial costs, feeding orphaned kids, etc.) but most of the time they do take the piss. North, that is already happening. Geel, women and men are equal when money is collected from the TOL, even if the woman is married to a guy from another Tol. It is a norm now.
