  1. Thanks a bunch Ngonge, my computer is alive!
  2. I've managed to watch that one online. And if Liverpool is playing my brother will be hogging the TV anyway.
  3. ^^Thank you so much, will try them both when I get home. If my computer still functions when I go online.
  4. ^^Food haters. Anyway, I’ve done something really silly last night, I was trying to watch episode two of Heroes and downloading when I was forced to click OK on a message that wouldn’t allow me to close down. My laptop has a torjan/spyware virus now, any advice on what kind of anti-virus software I should buy?

    Money Transfer

    What a depressing story.
  6. It was EID after a month of RAMADAN, there are NO RULES for such days, really, must I state the obvious!
  7. Sounds like fun CL, I had a great day too but parts of my head still hurt from the screaming little cousins though. Ngonge, in healthy moderation food is a wonderful sensory experience, it’s a shame so many people fight it and so many have little of it. p.s. I can't believe you didnt go with your kids, you lazy so & so!
  8. ^^You don't know what you are missing. It is about the story, don't discriminate about the language of delivery.
  9. I had cake for breakfast Val, very satisfying, the Somali kind where they put in 100 eggs. I came in this morning to find the Arch-Qumayo is back from her 1 year maternity leave, work is going to be tense from now on.
  10. Mahdi, I will look into you list since the idea of reading Somali books appeals to me. Laakin, are all Somali books about Jaceyl? I haven’t read much fiction during Ramadan. I just finished reading The Reluctant Fundamentalist (one of those hyped up 'oriental' bestsellers) and it was an annoying book about the mad ramblings of a Pakistani man. It could have been written by Ngonge though…. I will be finishing off Sepulchre by Kate Moss. It’s a supernatural/ghost story set in 19th century France. The B****** of Istanbul looks quite good too, I forgot the author’s name.
  11. CL, buq-buq means like small hole you see through. Its not a big deal word so don’t feel too concerned if you don’t know it.
  12. Malika, actually Somalia is perfectly placed to observe the Moon. As for Eid, you should delegate. If you want to be superwoman you will feel it. Valenteenah, sorry to hear that. Ilahey ha u naxariisto.
  13. LoL CL, you know extra effort is needed to make Eid feel like Eid here. Malika, forget preparation and enjoy yourself . Anyway, that When is Eid topic is confusing. I'll just wait till I get home tonight and see what Islam Channel says.
  14. Are there any old Eid Somali songs online?
  15. They must not mind the stress of OC, then again all the tourists have gone home. Sheh, everybody wishes Eid is tmwr. I think there is no point specualting,we will know for sure tonight. I don't want to start my excitement prematurely...
  16. I really hope its Eid tmwr but I have a feeling we will be fasting. The weekend was too fast, hardly feel rested. Morning CL & co.
  17. Ibti what time are you going home? Have a nice wkend all & afur wanagsan.
  18. I've done all I can do for today, plus I can always listen to it. Yes, you will probably pay 60p or so.
  19. I'm here another hour. Trying to watch channel 4 programme but the damn thing ownt work.
  20. Sheh don't feel bad, I'm looking forward to drinking water on my work commute again too...but make the most of it while its here.
  21. Someone stole your chair? Brain is slowing down, can't keep up with your 10 languages.
  22. An hour and 40 mins till the wkend. Nuune I still suspect sometimes you make words up
  23. Hello Che & Legend Ngonge lol. I hadn't even thought of that combination.
  24. I'm sure it does, just because you dont know it.
  25. Well I dont think you can detain on 'suspicion' alone for long, if they were under surveillance for months... Another two lives wasted.
