  1. Ibti, I think simple treatments work best. Like weekly hair conditioning before you wash it out. Has anyone here ever used oil on their face? Preferably fragrance free oil? (Not bloody saliid cadey ) Nothing seems to be quenching my skin, my creams don’t seem to work in the winter.
  2. No I'm not syaing that & I would be inhuman not to be moved by their suffering. What I am saying is that it makes me angry they were so careless with their safety, that is all.
  3. Blessed, I'm not saying rape doesn't occur in Somalia or anywhere else in the world but you have to admit, trekking across unknown/unsafe territories with a bunch of girlfriends is not the smartest nor the safest thing to do. It's not like they were taking a trip to New Zealand or Europe or anywhere with laws to protect you. I'm certainly not saying they deserved it but they grossly underestimated the risk " xaawo ayaa intaasi raacisay in loo sheegay intii aanay jubba ka bixin in dumar Soomaaliyeed oo tahriib ahaa lagu haysto duurka halkaas oo qaar kood caruuro ku dhaleen si qasab ah". The situation at home may be just as bad laakin no point going out of the frying pan into the fire.
  4. I feel sorry for them truly & wish there was something I could do for them but I can’t help being angry with them. They seem highly niave and irresponsible. Why would they trust their lives in a place where neither human law nor Allah’s law is followed? They should have used their common sense and protected themselves from cawannimo instead of being obsessed with tahrib, better to get shot and die with dignity.
  5. 2 more hours, not that it's been a bad Monday. p.s. Nice car Serenity.
  6. "The children will be filled with rage" There's always something funny in serious things, very amusing image.
  7. Subax wanagsan trollers. This office is too cold, I cant feel my fingers. Who puts on AC that high in the winter?
  8. LOL, very develish of you. Yeah I will, in 8 mins
  9. ^^ Had chocolate cake. I can go home but I'm still here because no one is brave enough to go at 4. I'll really go though in 10 mins. Che it's not a big deal, Facebook is harmless.
  10. Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I've never heard of that lol. I feel so slow now. someoen else e-mailed me and I still didnt get what they meant by pss off early .
  11. No I haven't seen that guy. This was on the news last night. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7726118.stm
  12. Hey have any of you seen the guy that was cured of HIV? Isn't it really exciting?
  13. ^LoL This crazy guy covering for our boss just told us we can all go home an hour early because it's Poets Day today?
  14. Tnx, those teas look delicious.
  15. “universal levels of support the Islamists enjoy in every city and town all across Somalia” Perhaps people are just scared and don’t want any trouble?. It does not necessarily equate to ‘support’.
  16. Nothing to do with heights for me, you guys enjoy. How about indoor skiing? Could be done in a day and good practice too for anyone who is also planning a trip soon.
  17. Where can I buy gorgeous kitten heeled (I'll be on my feet a lot) party sandals? It seems everyone is into the 5 inch transvestites look.
  18. LoL@dead before trail date. A lot of sick people out there, Muslim or not.
  19. Can we not mention baby P? It's beyond sickening. I'm suprised no one lost their jobs, how can anyone be so cruel? I wish the three responsible would face a firing sqaud. Faheema, I'A Khayr, you will get the good news CL, lol, I cant remember what I was wearing.
  20. The phrase, speak the truth even if it is against yourselves comes to mind. I think if it is something trivial (like say, DVD piracy), and the punishment is more severe that necessary and you know it would harm that person more you can try to help them stop doing whatever it is they are doing. Obviously harmful crimes against other humans like grievous bodily harm, rape, murder require no thinking at all and must be reported immediately. Reminds me of the trend where criminals are deported or hid which sends the wrong message to youngsters, like they are above the law and can get away with anything.
  21. No I it was something I was reading for research, about myths, legends and vampires. Only these were not friendly ones, I spent most of the night trying not to be someone’s dinner. It was comical, part terrifying part James Bond style, I remember at one point I had to steal a car in my dream Jinniga waan ka cudubilleystay before bedtime, so just a harmless dream, nothing to do with jinns. Nuune, I hate the wind too, would take rain over it any day.
  22. Hey you two, great crisp morning. If it was a little colder it would have snowed. I for one am glad to have woken up this morning, epic vampire dreams can be exhausting.

    Hallucinations

I can’t believe you lot. Acudibillahi Minsheydani Rajiim. End of story.
  24. Hi Che Serenity I ask because the thought of having a weekend car is off-putting & appealing at the same time, especially if you can’t drive to work. Maybe when I get a pay rise I can afford to have a car that languishes for 5 out of 7 days. LoL@Ngonge
