My coat hangs next to his desk...perhaps wait till he goes home. *sigh*
-
Hello folks, I'm thinking what would happen if I just put on my coat & walked out of work without saying anything...
-
North, I'm envious. Malaysia is high on my list of to visit. I read somewhere that May to September was best time to visit for perfect beach weather but I guess depends on which area. I would suggest getting a good guide book as well as what personal info you get from here. p.s. I thought Langkawi was a honeymoon destination

A&T I dont believe that. Girls have a great wkend, I'm off.
-
A&T, I am well aware that women can't be heads of states or lead armies but participarte in government? That's news to me. I have to research the specifics.
-
Ibtisam I agree, but what I find worrying is that the most important first 'Shria' duty is to chase women out of government, out of all the other problems Somalia has at present. Blessed, I know that, but this is denying them even participation. Traditionally women are in roles such as health, childrens issues etc. not even Defence or Foreign Policy so its a load of bull. LOL@hor booda, is he blind? Most of these women are probably grandmothers considering how young Somali women get married. A&T, so then you agree that targeting women in gov is the least of Somalia's problems?
-
Ibti I know its a headache, but for me its better than being indifferent, even if I can't do much.
-
For the Somali challenged, basically what this news feed is saying is that if the Somali gov is prepared to accept Sharia law then women must be removed from Government positions, at a time when even Saudi Arabia has a female MP. Typical for the first jab to be about women. Someone should warn them the acid is coming their way. As far as I know there is nothing stopping women from participating in politics?

LOL maya, I was watching late Universal News with my mum. I want people to move forward, it's kind of like Sharia law has been agreed on, now what? And other things like "Diinta Islaamka ma ogola in Haweenka ay wax hoggaaminaya, sida aan la soconana Dowladda waxaa ku jira Haween badan oo Ragga hor-booda, kuwaasi oo ka soo tegay Caruurtoodii iyo Raggii qabay”ayuu yiri Maxamed Ibraahim Bilaal" Will it ever end? p.s. the link http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2009/Mar/wararka_maant a13-5987.htm

Yep, I am leaving at 1. Meeting a friend for lunch, getting a facial, buying a few necessities, then who knows what will happen thereafter I woke up very pissed at AlShabab this morning. They make my blood boil every few weeks.
-
LOL, I hate that, good luck. Ibti will watch it later.
-
Faheema are you assembling something?
-
Please can we be a little original? This sounds too much like misguided, confused, white middle class women babble seeking ‘liberation’ through their vaginers & borrowing the expreince of other poorer women to do so. The vagina is not anymore oppressed than the liver or kidneys. Makes a real mockery of the true oppression women face. p.s. the lack of self restraint is disgusting.

Perhaps it was safer to stay in Somalia, or gone to Somaliland to start your business. I can’t understand it from the SA perspective at all. These people are not living on handouts, or getting government places, they got where they are due to their own hard work. If you keep money on the premises you are an easy target. I feel sorry for the paralysed youth, I wish there was something we could do for him.

Malika, nothing wrong with having a cheerful outlook.

LOL, wax baas lee ka hadashiin. Morning Cara, everyone has the odd sleep patch once in a while. I have been told that preparing for sleep is a whole process that should start an hour before bed time. Taking a bath/shower helps. Limiting the use of technology just before bed time, that is watching TV, laptop, I-pod etc. Reading is better (nothing too exciting though). Sleeping in fresh bed sheets & covers. Changing into a fresh PJs (not sleeping in your lounge wear). A slight cold breeze helps, so leave you window open or don’t cover yourself up too warmly. It’s all about slowing down your brain and mentally preparing for shut down, basically relaxing. Most people are too busy & jump into bed still with a shopping list running in their head or that report from work or what heblayo did to whom...endless. p.s. Being physicaly tired helps, but from personal experience mental exhaustion is not enough.

He used to have an offensive moustache that mirrored Hitler's style . I see he doesn’t have it anymore.
-
So you like Hitler I left my headphones at home today or I would have attempted to translate.

Malika, I couldn’t agree more. You will find things like a wedding party to be a frivolous indulgence limited to those who can afford it. Aaliyah, perhaps the women requested modest things they knew their future husbands could afford? It's not always $$$ and gold. As for the couples, may Allah bless their marriages.

This is a bit deep for a Monday…lol@money over love anytime. DD, you are so very daacad. Hello all.

Serenity, I always thought it was black henna until I found out its cheap black hair dye. I had it for my sisters wedding, some slight itching but never again. And anyone who has ever had it can’t use hair dye again and must always have tests carried out before they do. Anyway, hope you get better.

That's a lot of countries, a week in each place would be nice.
