lol@elites who stole all the money, perhaps they were just people who were given an opportunity and made the most of it! I know they are not many but there are some Somali families who do work just to get by and living in a state of borderline poverty. I really think more support should be given to working families, from what I have seen those who work get harassed more than the ones who claim benefits.

No I was walking home. First he yelled something that sounded like Salan out of his car window and just ignored him because I wasn’t about to shout across the street. Then his car slowed down and I thought of just going home instead of stopping by Tescos then decided I won’t be intimidated by anyone. He followed me in and started repeating salan and some other elaborate bullshit in Somali, something about qiimo, then accuses me of not respecting the Islamic Salan. How many times can one say W/S? He kept following me around the isles, then offers to pay for my stuff, to which I politely declined. Then starts arguing with the man behind the till over a buy one get one free item he was buying as I walked out. You always get weirdo’s but they are not usually this persistent. I hate pervy married men, they disgust me.

So the coward country of ‘neutrality’ has finally got an opinion on something? Well said Ibti, I think I heard something similar in Holland a couple of years ago. Also, when our local mosque was being built there was a big debate in the community about how it would change the landscape of the town and that they wanted it to look like an ordinary building. A building is a building, I think we should be more concerned with the level of ignorance.

I think everyone should make an effort for Eid, simple. It’s a celebration & a mercy from Allah. Ibti, the Eid following Ramadan it’s sunnah to have breakfast before the prayer and tmwr’s Eid you don’t eat until after the prayer.
